  1. This route is a clone of the Ice Beam route written up by WaveWarrior found here: https://pastebin.com/dGDd484q
  2. This modified route buys more healing items and does gentleman candy to afford everything and help with some ranges.
  3. There aren't a lot of beginner specific strats, but you can consider healing more/saving for fights that have a decent chance of dying
  4. such as Misty, Surge, Koga, Blaine, Giovanni 2, Lance, and Champ.
  5.
  6. This is the current route used in Pokemon Yellow Any% Glitchless, which uses Ice Beam instead of Blizzard.
  7. This guide assumes you know general movement through the route (which trainers to fight, how to get through safari zone, etc.), and it's not possible to write down everything about how to move. So it is highly recommended to watch a run using this route before attempting a run
  8. (two examples here: https://youtu.be/3cT6Ikssn2s https://youtu.be/90VmIySFnyY )
  9.
  10. Abbreviations: HA = Horn Attack, DK = Double Kick, BB = Bubblebeam, TB = Thunderbolt, HD = Horn Drill, EQ = Earthquake, IB = Ice Beam
