CREAM OF THE CROP

Gene Okerlund: Wrestlemania 3 at the Silver Dome in Pontiac, Michigan.  It’s a day I’m certain my guests at this time will not forget — I’m talking about the *former* intercontinental champion of the world, Macho Man Randy Savage

Macho Man Randy Savage: [Interrupting, screaming] NOTHING MEANS NOTHING

Gene [Quietly] .. nothing.. nothing?  Nothing means nothing, what do you mean by that?
Savage: [In a slower, low growl, talking over Gene] Nothing means Nothing means Nope no more

Savage: I’m talkin about all the way to the top yeah [raising in volume] UNJUSTIFIABLY IN A POSITION THAT I’D RATHER NOT BE IN [quieter again, revealing a container of cream to mystify onlookers] but the creeaamm will riiise to the TOP oh yeah macho madness yea it’s got more to offer than [screaming again] PRESIDENT JACK TUNNEY THINKS [low growl] that I got yeah and lemme tell you something right now cards stacked against the Macho Man Randy Savage in Wrestlemania 3 yeah and lemme say it yea lemme say it out loud [screaming again] AND LEMME POINT TO THE PRESIDENT [quieter growl] of the world wrestlin’ federation the Macho Man Randy Savage is not happy with your decision yeah [reveals another container of cream and yells] I AM THE CREAM [quieter] in the world wrestlin' federation

Gene [Trying to get a word in]: now, now wait a minute…

Savage [Not pausing] and there is no doubt about it [reveals a third container of cream, further enchanting the audience] yeah you mean Gene Okerlund [places cream Gene’s pocket];  you KNOW that I’M THE CREAM OF THE CROP!

Gene: Oh. W-wait a minute though Randy, I’ve gotta ask you very seriously: do you blame Mr. Jack Tunney, the distinguished president of the World Wrestling Federation for Ricky Steamboat being the intercontinental champion today?

Savage: yeah I do yeah outside interference yeah [screams] IN MY MOMENT OF GLORY [quiet growl] yeah and now I’m living in a nightmare .. and I am the cream, and now, not only the [voice rising] intercontinental heavyweight championship belt must fall, [screaming] BUT THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BELT!!  [quiet growl] Cuz Hulk Hogan yeah… I aamm [Reveals a fourth container of cream and screams] the creammm yeah the cream of the crop [voice rising] and there is NO ONE, [Screaming while placing some cream on his head] THAT DOES IT BETTER, THAN THE MACHO MAN RANDY [cream falls onto shoulder, presumably from the vibrations caused by his thundering monologue] SAVAGE [quiet growl] on balance off balance doesn’t matter I’m better than you are yeah and I’m talkin’ to everyone in the World Wrestlin’ Federation [Screaming again, starts spinning in place] AND I’M EVEN TALKIN [finishes spinning, low growl, points] to President Jack Tunney yeah [gasping for breath at this point] I’m on [breathing deeply] on my way  [yells again] AND NOTHIN’, IS GONNA STOP ME!!! [quiet growl] nothin’s gonna stop me

Gene [While Savage catches his breath]: You know, just out of curiosity, [Savage reclaims his cream from Gene’s pocket] Randy.. I certainly don’t want to diminish your tremendous, God-given talents but, I’m very curious, I haven’t seen Elizabeth lately

Savage [low growl]: Yeah.. She’s on the outside of the ring does she interfere in matches yeah?  [shaking his head no] NOTHING zero yeah [loudly] PURE ATHLETE YEAH, AND I’VE BEEN UH, yeah I’ve been MALIGNED from the TOP to the bottom cuz they can’t handle the macho man Randy Savage  [screams] THE CREAM OF THE CROP!!  Nobody does it BETTER!
