- In the early days of the liberation of Earth, I was treated to visions of a solemn march against a reptilian, insectoid and mechanical enemy by a force of blue light balls, old wizards (often Gandalf or Sarumon), noble doges, and humanity.
- Unity and conviction was high amongst the Forces of Good in this period.
- I was under some heat, having fought off and on for Evil survivalistically, by a group I then called the Purity Fags. Their aesthetic was winged angels wearing all black. But I was relatively comfortable, because my solipsism still had some juice.
- 1 or 2 things happened to make this aesthetic disappear.
- First, it became known that the Purity Fags had generally decided to take Enemy mercyists to hell. They switched to a marine aesthetic (no idea, it makes more sense the other way around). Unity was gone.
- Secondly, simulators took the overall conviction down a notch.
