Her name long forgotten, the Lady of Mirth was a trickster god who surrounded herself with laughter and joy. She was the patron of jokesters and thieves alike, those who are masters of the Great Trick. In the first days she both lifted the spirits of her brethren and taught them to be ever watchful for trickery. Her commandments were as thus:

✦ There is no harm in relaxation and fun; take all the time you can to play and be merry.

✦ Share all you have with those you are close to; your wealth, your knowledge, your body.

✦ Always have your wits about you, for the world will seek to take them from you. Be kind, but do not trust blindly.
