  1. Warriors of God, Paladins are holy warriors that serve to spread the word and guidance of Aine. They work in a mighty crusade against evil, and often assist Shadow Hunters in hunting down the beasts that ravage the world of Veska.   3. Select two professions: Climbing, History, Intimidation, Investigation, Medical, Performance, Occult, Persuasion, Sense Motive, Swimming, Survival, Religion.

  5. Level 1:

  7. Smite: A Paladin's weapon strikes much more true towards the forces of evil. Whether this is their conviction towards their crusade or a miracle granted to them by Aine is often argued over. The Paladin gains a +2 bonus against Unholy creatures, and their weapon strikes as if it were silver, no matter its make up.

  9. Bless Water: Paladins are capable of conducting a special ritual that blesses water into Holy Water. Holy Water is completely drinkable; any pollution is killed during the ritual process. Its main use however, is that it acts as an acid towards targets deemed unholy by the church. Holy water can be used to coat the Paladin's weapon to increase its effectiveness against these creatures.

  18. Heresy: The Paladin can mark a target as a heretic beneath their church, treating them as if they were an unholy creature. The marked target is treated as Unholy for 3 rounds.

  23. Ability Score Enhancement: +1 to an ability score of your choosing.

  26. Divine Might: The Paladin may wield items that are significantly heavier for a normal man. They may lift weapons that are considered fit for creatures one size category above them, or wield a two-handed weapon with one hand. The Paladin adds 1/2 their Paladin level to strength related checks (minimum +1).

  31. Lay on Hands: The Paladin may grant mercy towards a target by curing diseases and poisons, as well as stop bleeding. Lay on Hands heals the target slightly.

  35. Ability Score Enhancement: +1 to an ability score of your choosing.

  39. Companionship: If an ally is being attacked, the Paladin may quickly leap towards them to take the attack instead. The Paladin gains a +2 defensive bonus against the attack.

  43. Consecrate: The Paladin sanctifies a small area, blessing it so that it deters unholy targets. Unholy targets are compelled to avoid the area; anything wandering within consecrated ground that's deemed unholy will be staggered for one round, then sickened upon reaching the third round of remaining on the ground. The Paladin's attacks are enhanced against all enemies within consecrated ground.

  52. Pillar of Light: The Paladin may hold their ground against incoming attacks, becoming a beacon of light for their allies. During this time, the Paladin has an extended range for their companionship ability, and they gain a +4 bonus in defending against incoming attacks. The Paladin is immune to being displaced, and remains firmly rooted to the ground during this time. The Paladin may attempt to defend against multiple attacks placed on their allies at once.
