Y740 15" 76whr battery mod

Reymark R. (7/5/2019, 9:35:26 AM): Upon checking here in my end as I check to our tools here in our end. It is safe to use the battery of the 17" to 15 " as they do have the same model type of the machine and I also verify it to our tools as well.

Me (7/5/2019, 9:43:33 AM): Hm, alright. Well, I've got a battery coming from a third party seller for the 17". Is there a way to check if it's genuine, or should the machine tell me that?
