  1. 02:54] Nakara had only desired to grow stronger now, He had accomplished the first barrier to that reality taking place, Now he needed to cement his place in Nidaz's kingdom.
  2.
  3. Every day he'd focus his abilities into crafting new curses, Layering the Decaying effects of Time Magic, Incorporating the crushing force of gravity magic, And lastly infusing the corrupt nature of occultism to create a more destructive spell. One that could rip into the essence of the soul itself and decaying a person from the inside out.
  4.
  5. He'd seen the Nethradin use spells similar to this back when the Shadowmire existed but now he was at a place he could practice it freely himself. However a normal test dummy wouldn't do He needed Rune's advice and sturdy body to help him perfect the spell.
  6.
  7. "I need your help in perfecting the spell Rune, Lets see if you can withstand it. I still have trouble casting it so give me a minute." He claimed as he took a step back to concentrate. His occult Aura gushing over him as he mediated within drawing out more and more of his hatred.
  8.
  9. (Nakara)
  10. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  11.
  12. [02:54] Nakara says, "Then we can help eachother heh."
  13. [03:00] Rune was curious as to what ability Nakara could have been working on, knowing him it was probably something Rune would find much delight in. He would gladly donate himself to the cause for Nakara.
  14.
  15. "Very well, you've peaked my interest."
  16.
  17. Rune too had an ability he had spent a lot of time on but for some reason was still not yet able to pull it off. Swordsmanship was key, one had to become apart of his blade and his blade apart of him. When this bond was made in perfection then and only then could someone channel there mana from their circuits directly into their blade. Rune wished to light up his blade with Fel energy but there was a connection still not perfect between him and his blade, his circuits, body, and blade needed to be perfectly synchronized.
  18.
  19. "Give it your best, you can do whatever you put your mind too. We are the last of our kind Nakara, let us make sure the world remembers us."
  20. (Rune Cloven)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [03:09] Nakara could only smile as the occultism around his body soon began to Transfer towards his hands, A bondfire of occultic flames surged between his palms only growing stronger, and stronger.
  24.
  25. Binding it together with gravity he'd condense it allowing for the energy within to swell around his hands, Burning the intense flames into his arms it hissed with dark magics. Nakara's still incapable of handling occultism of this magntitude yet he continued to surpass his limits,
  26.
  27. He bougth forth his staff to aid him, Gathering pulling the occult flame to the point of his staff surging the energies together bofore thrusting the staff forwards to unleash the black magic spell towards Rune.
  28.
  29. Packed an incredible force, Once it made contact with rune it exploded into a black sphere that crushed Runes body with a heavy degree of Gravity at the center, Unless the swordsmen used his might to push back against it it would make him fall to his knees.
  30.
  31. Then when he least expected it the curse of Rotting Time spread throughout his body HIs armor like skin soon began to rust with age. Making metallic sounds as the occultic whispers of the curse fed upon his life force. The dibiliation of the Spell only lasted for a short while, But had it been mastered there was lot of potnential to use it use it in the future.
  32.
  33. Nakara was strained nearly doubling over as the spell finally reqliuished from Rune the damage soon repairing. "Its such a strong spell I still can't fully control it." Nakara gestured to his hand where the spell originated from, Burned scars all over his hands his flesh black as coal now from over use of the occult.
  34.
  35. Had it not been for his mutant heritage it would be nothing but skin and bone yet his Accursed resistance to the occult was displayed."Well its your turn now show me what you're practicing?" He asked curious to see what Rune would do.
  36. (Nakara)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [03:22] At first Rune didn't think whatever Nakara was trying to be something that could deal him damage but he was quickly question that thought when he found himself sent to his knees. He had to use a lot of strength just to lift himself in that level of gravity. When it hit Rune it began to instantly age him as if Time was being ran on him in a moments notice. IT was decaying at such a rate he was forced too Invoke the bindings that keep him chained to the mortal plane, healing him at the same rate he was decaying. Rune lifted himself up, it was quite something indeed and if mastered would be a terrifying ability.
  40.
  41. "Wow, you are growing incredibly fast to be practicing that level of a spell. You will go far."
  42.
  43. Rune unsheathed his blade, it was time he put his training and studying to practice once again. The war had put him off track a little but they had a new home and a new beginning so his mind was clear and his motivation strong.
  44.
  45. "Im attempting to channel my Fel mana into my blade so when I strike its not just my blade hitting you but also my Occult mana's power with each strike. You must become one with your blade and the blade must be an extention of you and that means the channeling of your circuits and everything. IF the bond with your blade is perfect then you will be able to pass on mana through the blade and your mana circuits will become a direct link for the blade itself to receive contant power. The blade with light up in an occult flame and maintain itself if done right."
  46.
  47. Rune closed his eyes and exhaled, all that was in his mind was connecting fully with his blade. They had been through much together and even though it wasn't the best blade it was his blade and it was apart of him. Rune straightened up and held the blade out directly infront of him as his eyes opened with determination. He began to channel his Fel mana through his body into the blade, at first you could only see swirls of purple hues fuming from the sword but soon it would light up purple then red then a purple red..it maintained itself.
  48.
  49. "Its not easy to pull of but its a whole different story to maintain in combat." Rune swung the blade and the flame went out instantly.
  50.
  51. "Ill improve, now we are done with war and its time for learning and progression. We will grow more in these coming years then we could have ever hoped too in Shadowmire."
  52. (Rune Cloven)

  57.
  58. [03:50] Nakara listened to Runes explaintion of what exactly he was trying to attempt. A coating of occultism that could strike his foes before his blade does, Making it a more deadly weapon. Surely not a task that would be simple but not difficult either.
  59.
  60. "You're already a marvelous swordsmen and an occult user Rune, You simply have to meld each of your strikes in tandem with the occult." Nakara would examine Rune for a moment then draw up a few ideas.
  61.
  62. "Using it in combat is the main goal, But for now I think you should try imaginging the Shape you want your Mana to take. If you're simply just pumping raw Occult energy into it you'll end up using too much mana and it becomes unstable. So instead imagine creating a specific shape around your sword, That way you can controll the flow a lot more percisiely." It was of couse jsut a theory Nakara was suggesting but having learned to craft spells and cursework

  69.
  70. [04:04] Nakara was right but what he was saying made something else also pop into Rune's mind..the recycling of his mana.
  71.
  72. "Wait...that's it!" he exclaimed with excitement.
  73.
  74. Rune unsheathed his blade and began to imagine the precise outline of his blade, he would not make the mana take that shape but would rather direct it as a river to form that shape around the blade. The mana would run up one side of the outline and then go back down the other. This would allow the energy to go into his circuits again and go back out without any loss or hinderance. It was constantly feeding and being fed.
  75.
  76. Rune would now try to put it into play, he had spent so long trying this ability that drawing out his mana felt like a reflex now. The mana would channel up the blade and go over its point and back down into the circuits, as this happened the sword lit up gently, occult flames lifting off the blade slightly. Rune began to swing it around and shadow spar as he maintained it, and it took.
  77.
  78. Amazing he finally pulled it off, he needed some input but he did it. He would need to keep practicing it before he could say he mastered it but this was a massive leap for him.
  79.
  80. "I should have thought of that, im glad to have you around to be sure."
