[20:47] <Cliven> And if we're caught without medical supplies we'll seriously be in trouble as there isn't a convenient hospital within any reasonable

distance.
06[20:48] * [Rut]Janie glances at Mina and sneaks off, returning with a bag that she stores in her sack.

06[20:49] * [Zem]Yumi has picked her bag, loaded with just stuff she thinks she needs.
[20:49] <Cliven> How far do you recall this hamlet will be from here Iris?
06[20:50] * [BNS]Mina runs back inside and picks up her bag, then runs back to Iris, still raring to go
06[20:50] * Iris` glances at Cliven.
[20:50] <Iris`> Hamlet, or town?
[20:50] <Iris`> Only the towns have real shops.
[20:51] <Cliven> I'd like to have a place where I can restock on any needed supplies if I can help it.

06[20:52] * Iris` speaks straight-faced.

06[21:06] * Iris` makes to break, then, and starts leading at a small distance.

06[21:12] * Iris` climbs over some boulders strewn about the ruins and enters the jungle.

[21:15] <Cliven> So, what do you know of this place Iris? Anything we should know or be aware of before we reach our desitination?
06[21:15] * Iris` keeps her striding pace while speaking.
[21:16] <Iris`> It's not as bad as the jungles, but because it's a town it attracts some trouble.
[21:16] <Iris`> Just don't point your weapon at anyone who isn't already attacking you.
[21:17] <Cliven> I intend to, unless like you said, they attack us first.
[21:18] <Iris`> Good.
06[21:18] * Iris` climbs a small ravine ledge.
[21:18] <[Rut]Janie> Uh, I won't either! Promise!
06[21:21] * [GM]Maryn hops upwards the ravine in one leap already at the top.
[21:21] <Cliven> ..show off.
06[21:21] * Cliven climbs up like a REAL MAN.
06[21:22] * Iris` keeps on walking, expecting the others to keep up. This part of the jungle isn't so dense.
[21:22] <[Rut]Janie> Woooow~ Just like Superman, huh, Rickie?
06[21:23] * [Rut]Janie starts climbing -- shakily at first, but gaining speed.
06[21:24] * [BNS]Mina clambers up the ravine

06[21:33] * Iris` stops and looks down.
06[21:33] * [Rut]Janie loses her grip with one hand! The bandages on her arm begin to redden again.

06[21:34] * [Rut]Janie IRON HEART SURGEs, re-establishing her footholds and pulling herself to the top.
06[21:34] * [GM]Maryn helps pull Janie up.

06[21:36] * Iris` looks at Janie's arm.
[21:36] <[Rut]Janie> Phew... golly, that was rough! Thanks, missus Maryn.

06[21:37] * Lynette pulls herself up and over, slowly but surely. She doesn't make much noise.

06[21:42] * Iris` takes Janie's silence to her questioning as an affirmative, and looks where she's pointing.

06[21:43] * [BNS]Mina rubs her head and sticks her tongue out at Cliven
[21:43] <[Rut]Janie> It's... a statue? Ow.
06[21:43] * [Rut]Janie recoils slightly, having pointed with her bad arm.

06[21:44] * [huh]Chamomile looks confused.
06[21:44] * Lynette raises an arm to bop Chamomille, but flinches in pain before she makes it.
[21:44] <[Rut]Janie> Er, it's okay, missus Iris. Missus Maryn wrapped it up real good so it's not open any more.
[21:45] <[Zem]Yumi> If it's not the town, then we need to go past it.
[21:45] <[GM]Maryn> But you can't move it around so much....
01[21:45] <[huh]Chamomile> Hard when we're climbing cliffs, isn't it?
06[21:45] * Iris` catches Lynette's flinching out of the corner of her eye. o O ( ... Two injured? Not good. )
[21:46] <Iris`> ... ok. We should get to the town quickly, though.
[21:46] <Cliven> [The statue Janie, seems to be pygmy in size and it points torwards something in the west.]
[21:48] <[Rut]Janie> Hmm... It's a gnome.
[21:50] <Cliven> ...gnome?
[21:50] <Cliven> wait...
06[21:50] * Cliven takes a closer look
06[21:51] * Iris` watches, but keeps standing where she is.
[21:52] <Iris`> Whatever this is, make it quick.
[21:52] <Iris`> The sooner we reach town, the better.
[21:52] <Cliven> ...15 no way...
06[21:52] * [Zem]Yumi watches, to make sure no one falls off while investigating it.
06[21:52] * Cliven shakes his head and pats Janie on the haed.
[21:53] <Cliven> Seems we found something nice but it'll have to wait until later~
[21:53] <[Zem]Yumi> What is it, Cliven?
[21:53] <[Rut]Janie> ~?
[21:54] <Cliven> I'll tell you once we reach town, but for now lets worry about getting there first.
[21:54] <[Rut]Janie> Gee, it looks kind of silly, but if you said it's nice when I can't tell, then I guess it must be awful special!
[21:57] <Iris`> Yeah, let's go.
06[21:57] * Iris` begins towards the town again, at a slightly faster pace.
06[21:57] * [huh]Chamomile follows~
06[21:58] * Lynette walks along with the rest of the group, rubbing her temples as she goes.
06[21:58] * [Rut]Janie goes, too.
06[21:59] * Iris` continues leading everyone towards the nearest town, speaking little except to warn of small obstacles along their way. It's a somewhat

uneventful journey, but the sun starts to set as they reach their destination.

01[22:00] <[huh]Chamomile> I'm not used to being awake for this long...
06[22:01] * [huh]Chamomile leans against Janie.
[22:01] <[Rut]Janie> Huh? Whatcha doing?

[22:02] <Cliven> [You're almost there, you can see some buildings in the near horizon.]

06[22:03] * [par]Nafrit looses her tie a bit more
06[22:03] * [Zem]Yumi is also tired, but bears up.  She has to look professional.
[22:03] <Iris`> Night's a bit colder, if that's what you want.
06[22:03] * [BNS]Mina is still going strong
[22:04] <[Zem]Yumi> It could be worse.  Cliven, remember that time we were stranded in the Mojave Desert, eating scorpions and felling cactus to drink from?

[22:04] <Cliven> Oh god.. I had constipation for weeks on end.. please don't remind me.
06[22:04] * Cliven has an expression of pure discontentment.

06[22:05] * [Rut]Rickie crawls out of his hiding place and onto Chamomile's head. He curls up into a pudgy little ball and stays there.

06[22:07] * Iris` keeps her eyes ahead, scanning the brush for anything unusual. In these parts, it's a good habit.
06[22:07] * [Rut]Rickie is apparently undisturbed by the motion.
[22:08] <[Rut]Janie> Yup! Rickie is nice~ You can poke him and everything, and he doesn't get mad.
[22:08] <Cliven> [ As you begin to approach the the town there is a few wandering vilagers nearby, they spot you...and seem apprehensive.. whispering amongst

themselves.]
06[22:09] * Iris` keeps her gun comfortably idle in her arms. o O ( ... They shouldn't think this odd. What's going on...? )
06[22:09] * Lynette looks at them with a similar eye, although her blinking gets harder.
