Covet: Felix was sitting in the office on the phone with his mom, He was in a different brace now, one that keeps his shoulder imobile by keeping his arm strapped to his torso. He'd been given the good pain drugs and was feeling pretty good for the most part now. "Well they want to go in and do surgery on it, but it sucks because I'll be out for the rest of the season at least. I know, I know I should have listened, but they said that this could have partially been from you know being hit by a fucking car, Mom." He said trying to rationalize his own stupidity and impatience.
Alexithymiaa: -Steph was sitting at her desk trying to get a bit of her work done, but she was overall pretty distracted with Felix's phone call and eavesdropping on him. She hadn't liked the outcome of his doctor's appointment over the weekend and for the most part was keeping her opinions to herself because she was kind of annoyed at him that a big part of his current condition could have been avoided.-
Covet: Felix moved the call over to speaker because he was tired of holding it up to his ear. "Okay, but if it was also damaged by the wreck, then it would have caught up to me once I was already balls deep in the season." He said, then snickered because balls, and high. // "Felix Marlowe, now is not the time for inapropriate jokes, this is serious. What about your scolarship, if you can't play for the rest of the season?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: -She was trying desperately not to butt into his phone conversation, but as it went on it became increasingly difficult. She raised her voice enough that Rochelle would be able to hear her even though she wasnt next to him. "We've got it covered, Mom. Scholarship or not, tuition isn't going to be an issue."-
Covet: "Yeah, We've already talked about it." Felix said. // "You guys aren't going to be pushing back the wedding or anything are you?" Rochelle asked aloud after hearing Steph on the other end of the line.
Alexithymiaa: -She smiled because it was sweet she was clearly against that. "No, we're not pushing back the wedding. We both have means of making extra money and we've discussed how to make this work if we're strapped. We've got it covered, I promise."-
Covet: "Nothing is changing with the wedding, or the Honeymoon." He added quickly. "I'm going to be setting up some photo sessions and putting my name out there, to get some business that way too." He said leaning his head back n the couch. // Rochelle seemed to sound a little happier about this. "Well if you change your mind about the honeymoon location to save costs, you can always come honeymoon in Tucson." She offered.
Alexithymiaa: "I think we'll be okay, but thanks for the offer." SHe started to laugh, her eyes moving back to her computer as she copied the link of the webpage she'd been on and forwarded it to Felix's phone: a photography contest with a cash prize. "I'm shifting my focus to work on selling some more songs, too."-
Covet: "Mom, old people go to Arizona for vacation, not young people." He said rolling his eyes, then looked at the link that Steph had sent him. "Steph just sent me a thing for a Photography contest, I'm just going to look into these sorts of things to see if I can drum up some cash that way, Plus, I'll have all summer to work on this for next semester. // "You should see if the school is going to cover what your scholarship won't now, if you're not playing for the rest of the semester, Seeing as their the ones holding up the process on getting that crazy girl prosecuted." Rochelle said.

Alexithymiaa: -She pursed her lips, propping her elbow up on her desk to hold her head up. "Now that we have a more definitive diagnosis and projected recovery time, rest assured we'll be in contact with the administration. Hopefully there are no distractions or hinderances to that." She said while straight up just thinking about Benjamin and how he's going to fuck shit up.-
Covet: "Yeah, well I'm not going to hold my breath for that one." Felix said, as he went about browsing the school website for other possible scolarship options. // "I can't believe they're sitting on this still, you'd think that the safety of the students would be a priority on this. Especially where it's students attacking students." Rochelle added. "Have you talked to Benji at all this week?"
Alexithymiaa: -Steph scoffed loudly because how many times since she'd been a student here alone, had the school neglected to protect its students from being attacked, or helped in investigations afterwards. "Yeah... I'm not surprised at all." When she asked about Benji, she leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms over her chest and clamming up.-
Covet: "Yeah, we did the dinner thing last week. I cancelled this week though because of all this new shit." He said. " I told him we can work on things, but it's going to be slow, and he doesn't get any second chances...or maybe this is a second chance, either way this is the only thing he's got." // "That's good, I'm proud that you're taking that route." Rochelle said. "He's got a couple of jobs now too?" She asked even though she already kind of knew.
Alexithymiaa: "Supposedly." She spoke shortly to Rochelle, spinning in her chair to look at Alfred perched on her desk licking himself.-
Covet: "Yeah, he's working as a line cook at the cafe, and then he has some mechanic job I guess." Felix said then shrugged which was a terrible idea. "Sonova..." // "Stop moving it, kid." Rochelle said. "You sound unsure about that Steph, you think he's lying about it?" She asked.
Alexithymiaa: "Would you be careful?" She snapped at Felix, looking over the top of her speaker at him. "I don't know, this is really none of my business."-
Covet: "Would you two calm your tits, all I did was shrug.Jeez." Felix said with a huff. "Of course it's your business too. You're my soon to be wife. And you don't get to back out of it now, since you've already got yourself this deep." // "Child, my tits haven't been calm since I birthed and breastfed you and your brother." Rochelle said. " I don't think he'd be too upset if you guys checked up on that. It sounds like he's really trying to make a difference here."

This is up to you and whatever you want to do, or look into, or trust.... that's on you. I'm just going to support whatever decisions you make."-
Covet: "Gross. I don't want to hear or think about your tits mom." Felix said cringing, then looked at Steph, "But I'll look at yours calm or not." He winked then nodded, "I understand. If I need you, and voice as much you'll step in right?" He asked Steph. // "Gross, I don't want to hear you trying to seduce my daughter." Rochelle retorted back to him. "I understand being firm with him until you think he is ready."
Alexithymiaa: -She rolled her eyes at him and couldn't help, but blush a little since Rochelle was on the phone with them. "Quit grossing her out. She doesn't deserve your shit." She pushed up from her chair, walking out from behind her desk to go over and sit down on the couch next to him. "Of course I'll step in if you ask me to. They'd never even find his body."-
Covet: "She asked for it when she brought me into this world. Woah, I said support me, not commit murder. That is a very big step and difference there." He said looking at Steph. "Besides if that's what I wanted to do with him, I would have already asked." He said leaning over to give her a kiss on the head. // "I brought you into this world, I can take you back out of it, kiddo." Rochelle said. "Well, I love you both, but let me know if they wind up doing the surgery, and I'll come up to help Steph take care of your whiney butt."
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Are support and murder not the same?" She asked with faux confusion, leaning into his kiss with a laugh. "We'll see how it goes. Hopefully he won't be too much of a baby about this. Although if I know karma, and I do, he's going to make it as difficult on me as I did on him and I deserve every second of that torture."-
Covet: "Just for that I'm going to be nothing but a sweet angel and not complain at all, just to spite the two of you. Unless... this is all a clever ploy to make me so I'm not whiney at all, and if that's the case then I'm doubling down and neither of you can stop me."
Alexithymiaa: "Do you really think we planned this out just to make it easier on ourselves?" She asked him, reaching up to toy with his hair. "Just focus your efforts on following your doctor's instructions for once."-
Covet: "Yes, actually, I do. You women folk are coniving people" He said leaning into her hand, because he liked his hair being played with. "I know, I will. For real this time." // "Okay, you two, I'm going to bed now. My stories are over and I've talked to you about your latest fuckup. My job as a mother are done for the night." Rochelle said. "Goodnight."
Alexithymiaa: "Goodnight, love you." She said into the phone, waiting for him to hang up before she flicked him in the chest. "I'm still mad at you. You can tell her whatever you want, but I know most of this pain and misery could have been avoided if you weren't so reckless."-
Covet: "Goodnight, love you too!" Felix said before his mother hung up on them, then he looked at Steph, wincing and rubbing the spot on his chest, "Ouch... I wasn't reckless, I just wasn't smart."
Alexithymiaa: "Did you want to explaint he difference, orr.....?" She trailed off, eyeing him. "This is exactly what I was concerned about happening. You're not as bionic as you think you are and I really didnt want you to have to learn the hard way."-
Covet: "Yeah, Reckless means knowing what you're doing is going to have stupid side effects and doing it anyways, Being dumb is assuming you know the right thing and do the stupid shit anways." He said though it really wasn't that different. "You know I could say the same about you, you know. You learn shit the hard way just as much as I do."
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Yeah well..." She started without an actual comeback to that one since he was completely right. "Why don't you learn from my mistakes then?" She asked, jabbing him in the stomach gently with her fist.-
Covet: "Because I'm more of a hands on learner." He said then winced, "Ouch... I'm already in pain woman, and despite the pain pills I can still feel that." Felix said with a pout.
Alexithymiaa: "Good, I hope you can feel it so you remember how stupid you are." She said with a frown before leaning into him to cuddle. "I hope you understand how limited your activities are going to be for a while."-
Covet: "I am doing pretty good about remembering it without your added help." He said with a chuckle then leaned back into her. "I know. I'm already trying to figure out how I can hold a camera with one hand."
Alexithymiaa: "With a tripod." She answered quickly. "You may want to consider using an assistant for a little while. And if you don't think it's in the finances, I can always help you."-
Covet: "Only if it's not overloading you. I might be able to talk to my boss at the studio and see if he can swing something for me too, cause Tripods are nice and all, but they don't get all the different angles, Unless I get a tripod, then get one of those bendy pose camera holder things." Felix told her.
Alexithymiaa: "You won't be overloading me. I'm getting better at managing my time appropriately, and this is important. Your work is just as much a priority to me as my own. Except my work can travel with me when I need to help with yours." She smiled at him, giving him a nudge.-
Covet: "This is true, and you do have at least a decent knowledge of what I'm already doing, so that is helpful too." He told her throwing his good arm around her to pull her close. "Not sure how I can help with the songwriting, though...."
Alexithymiaa: "At least? I was Dean's assistant at the studio before he moved to New York. You might be better at it, but I know the technical stuff pretty well." She said a little offended. "Rest assured, you help enough with the songwriting. You're like my muse."-
CovetCovet : "It was a joke, don't get your panties in a twist." He said giving her another kiss. "Oh am I? I am flattered over here now." He said with a smug look on his face.
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "You're always flattered. And if you want to stay flattered you better quit giving me an attitude about my panties otherwise you're going to be down two arms instead of just one." She gave him a quick look and then softened. "I've got some ideas to potentially sell to a few artists and hopefully I'll be able to put that money away for tuition."-

Alexithymiaa: "Well too bad you're busy being crippled then." She said quickly, pulling her legs up onto the couch to curl up a bit. "Let's just get one thing straight, your money struggles are my money struggles. And soon enough it's just going to be one big bank account of money struggles so quit complaining. I really don't want to hear it because you know I'm not going to listen anyway."-
Covet: "I know, but I did this to myself, so I feel like it should be my responsibility." He said watching her curl up. "There's still plenty I can do while being crippled, by the way."
Alexithymiaa: "It's your responsibility to let help you. You asked me to marry you, and now you have to deal with the consequences." She smiled, nudging her glasses up her nose. "You're right. There is plenty you can do while being crippled. Like getting plenty of sleep and resting your shoulder."-
Covet: "We're not married yet...." He said to her teasing of course, but even still dick move Felix. " Okay but I have other manly needs too, and if my favored hand is going to be down and out, it's going be a long recovery."
Alexithymiaa: "We share expenses, we share a house, we share a family. You can shove this whole not married yet thing, right up your ass." She sat up a bit straighter, climbing to her feet and turning to look at him. "Is this really all you're concerned about right now? Getting off? Has the severity of your injuries not sunken in or are you just trying to make light of the situation?"-
Covet: He chuckled, "I can't I'm crippled remember." He asid with a grin then saw her more serious tone, "No, I'm just trying to find the lighter side of this whole shit situation I've gotten myself in." He said tipping his head back.
Alexithymiaa: "Fine. Then I will dwell by myself if it's easier for you to cope with the situation like that. Now will you please let me put you to bed so I can make myself feel better by taking care of you even if you dont need it?" She asked with a pout.-
Covet: "Yes, of course you can take me to bed. And we'll just cuddle. I promise." He told her as he went about getting up so that he could kiss her to get rid of her pouty face
Alexithymiaa: "Thank you." She said as she pulled him in close, giving him a hug while being mindful of his shoulder before dragging him off to help him get into bed.-
