- When a person gives in to their mid-conscious drives, this is called a mid-conscious subsumation.
- Here are some examples:
- A person is being tortured, and to continue being tortured would be moral, and they want to be moral, but they just can't hold it and give up
- A fat person does not want to eat but feels hungry and gives in
- A person has decided on being neutral but hears a sad song and gives in
- In the overall theory, the foreconscious is more like a supercomputer, using logic to derive it's goals. The foreconscious can exert will on the mid-conscious but it is uncomfortable to do so.
- The mid-conscious is generally seen as dominant to the foreconscious, which is something like a slave.
