  1. Concept of kd!

  3. What we believe is fun with the game is:
  4. * IRC chatting/communication
  5. * Action - at the right pace. Seldom nothing to do, never too much to do.
  6. * Not having to set alarm, make certain wave times or get SMS'd.
  7. * Be able to play with generally highly skilled players that don't need specific instructions on everything
  8. * Despite the above; still do ok ingame!
  9.  
  10. Ingame goals shall be:
  11. * Honour!
  12. * War wins!
  13. * Destroy enemy kd through ghetto strat!
  14. * Be at low lvl enough to do this successfully
  15. * Not care about land/size
  16.  
  17. What we hope to do to achieve this:
  18. * Only allow players who are active on IRC when they're on, but no need to idle 24/7 either
  19. * Only allow players who understand the game well and can manage their own provs well
  20. * Have leaders responsible for something happening most of the time and taking initiatives, kd as a whole responsible to be ready on time, build right kind of prov etc
  21. * Play at a rank appropriate to activity/player number level, no problems being low in rank (growth caps used if getting too high OOW)
  22. * War and hit kd's at similiar size that we think we can beat without much effort
  23. * Not demand alarms or showing on waves - but run provs that enable all players to generally hit twice a day, and make 3 out of 4 uniques in 48 hours most wars
  24. * Only allow players who enjoy game and checks it, as we don't want to SMS/email, people need to check IRC to see what's up
  25. * Keep a fun and social IRC atmposphere with games etc for chilling

  27. What we will not accept:
  28. * Anything gainsaying the above. Duh. IRC being most important.
  29. * People with shitty attitude who destroy fun of game for other's.
  30. * Complete nubs. Sorry, but no one has the energy to teach you. If you know some and are openminded and learn quickly, can be considered.

  32. General ingame planning:
  33. * As we want to do somewhat well (we don't like losing=)) without high activity and 25 players, we need to run at least somewhat optimized provs. Gotta run ok races/pers combos, and similiar strat with rest of kd, ie if we want to do economy heavy, everyone should abide by these guidelines. No exact %'ages will be decided.
  34. * With the above as argument, we will pump now and then, at least twice per age. This is boring, but slack, and will make it easier to do well other periods.
  35. * When not pumping activly, everyone should be in warready/hitting mode, and we will try to to have action often. Losses wont be as heavy after ghetto war, so can rebuild quickly and at it again.
  36. * 3-5 people will be some sort of leaders, and set IRC orders. Other's expected to follow these. OOW they'll mainly be time before being ready after pumps and similiar, in war more exact orders to coordinate somewhat.
  37. * New players are fun, we will happily take in your friends if you think they match all the above!
