- - 8x16 (Dialogue) font is modified slightly; now looks like the one used in Lufia: The Legend
- Returns Text Cleanup. (very minor changes to straighten out some errant letters/symbols)
- - 8x8 (Menu) font is modified; now looks like the one used in my Lufia I and III projects. (Several small edits to make it more visually appealing)
- - All menu text is in proper case. (It's just more readable this way)
- - IP Skill/spell name changes:
- Destroy > Succumb ("Destroy" is Destruction Wave in Lufia I and there's no room to expand it, so this had to change in all 3 games)
- Dread > Drain (Dread is the LV 2 DEF-reducing spell; this should be Drain, since there's no LV 1 equivalent)
- Deflect > Mute (Renamed "Silence" in Lufia III, but should be Mute since there's no LV 1 equivalent)
- Tweak > Trick (Called "Trick" in all 3 main Lufia games)
- - Darbi's "Mini Devil" form is now "Mini-Devil" (Consistency with Lufia I)
- - "Excerion" is now called "Excelion" (Taken from Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals)
- - Item name changes:
- Waking Voice > Awake (Called "Awake" in all Neverland-made Lufia games)
- Piercing Cry > Shriek (Called "Shriek" in all Neverland-made Lufia games)
- Palsy Ball > Stun Ball (Stun Ball sounds shorter and easier to say)
- Priphea > PRIPHEA (Was in all caps in vanilla, so this is consistency)
- - Weapon name changes:
- Frypan > Frying Pan ("Frypan" is a typo. "Frying Pan" is longer and more robust.)
- Carver > Small Knife (Called "Small Knife" in Lufia I and II. It's a series staple, and I didn't want to rename it)
- Insect Kill > Bug Crush ("Bug Crush" rolls off the tongue easier since it's only two syllables. Also, there's a Bug Crush in Lufia III, and if it gets renamed there, it gets renamed here.)
- Shortsword > Short Sword (Typo fix)
- Bright Knife > Light Knife (There's a Light Knife in Lufia III, and if it gets renamed here, it gets renamed there)
- Kukri > Khukuri (While Kukri is the more accepted spelling, Khukuri looks fuller as a name.)
- Blood Sword > Bloody Sword (Most people would think of Final Fantasy's Blood Sword. This is a sword stained with blood.)
- Suhr Custom > SuhrCustom11 (I prefer having the number in too)
- Burn Sword > Burning Edge (For a sword this strong, the latter name sounds more fierce)
- Bolt Sword > Thunderblade (Same as above)
- Dragslayer > Dragonslayer ("Dragslayer" might be its literal name but it makes it sound like it kills drag queens. Hence the change)
- Blaze Sword > Inferno Edge (Again, this sounds more fierce than the stock name.)
- Raiju Blade > Sky Sword (I know I fought Artemis back in the day to have the Japanese myth names in equipment, but I don't think it fits a medieval European-style world.)
- Yukionna Bit > Snow Sword (Same as above)
- Blood Rod > Bloody Rod (Same as Blood Sword)
- Kappa Spear > Water Spear (Same as Raiju Blade)
- Seiryu Spear > Dragon Spear (Same as Raiju Blade)
- Confusic Box > Music Box (I was the one that suggested "Confusic", and have grown to absolutely hate it)
- Plusdriver > Plus Driver (Typo fix)
- - Armor name changes:
- Cloth > Clothes (Cloth Armor would work too, but it's a type of soft leather clothes)
- Tight Dress > Cute Dress (Named "Cute Dress" in Lufia III to differentiate "Light" and "Tight" Dresses; renamed here for consistency)
- Iron Mail > Ironmail (This is just sheer preference; it could be reverted, but again, Lufia I and III have Ironmails)
- God Robe > Godly Robe (Sounds more robust)
- Bolt Shield > Thundo Targe (Bolt Shield is OK, but Thundo Targe sounds stronger)
- Pot > Saucepan (Again, more robust, and it doesn't sound like the player is finding marijuana anymore)
- Cloth Helmet > Cloth Helm (Helm just sounds zippier and shorter since it's one syllable)
- Hairband > Hair Band (Typo fix. Hair Band is two words, apparently. I found that out a couple years ago)
- Hide Helmet > Hide Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Wood Helmet > Wood Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Fury Helmet > Fury Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Iron Helmet > Iron Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Tight Helmet > Tight Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Large Helmet > Large Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Rock Helmet > Rock Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Old Helmet > Old Helm (Same as Cloth Helmet)
- Ice Hairband > Ice Band (Avoiding typo)
- Creator Helm > Godly Helm (Consistency with Lufia III, where there's no space for "Creator Helm")
- Radiant Helm > Auric Helm (Consistency with Lufia III, where there's no space for "Radiant Helm")
- - Accessory name changes:
- Earring > Earrings (I think it makes more sense to be a pair of earrings instead of just one)
- Frenzy Ring > Fury Ring (There's a Fury Ring in Lufia III. If it gets renamed here, it gets renamed there)
- Tweak Ring > Trick Ring (Called "Trick" in all Neverland-made Lufia games)
- Angry Ring > Anger Ring ("Angry Ring" makes it sound like the ring is angry)
- Bolt Jewel > Thundo Jewel (Again, it sounds stronger than just Bolt Jewel)
- - Enemy name changes:
- Large Monk > Mega Cyclops ("Large Monk" just sounds dumb)
- Aquaroy > Aqualoy ("Aqualoy" is a brand of maritime equipment)
- Dobie > Doben (Sounds more unique)
- Selfaquo > Serfaco (Unknown meaning; reverted to vanilla name as result. Serfacuo could work too I suppose)
- Shadow Fly > Shadowfly (Sheer preference)
- Bully > Bruse (Sounds more unique)
- Big Butterfly > Deadly Moth ("Death Butterfly" is its Japanese name; this is a compromise)
- Centrope > Centropez (Compromise between vanilla "Sentopez" and new name)
- Snail > Snell (Sounds more unique)
- Maneater Vine > Venus Flytrap (Sheer preference, but I also think Venus Flytrap sounds more badass)
- T-Rex > Tyrannosaurus (Taking advantage of the 13-letter limit)
- Snow Gas > Snowgas (Enemy name is all one word in Japanese)
- Noobow > Nouveaux (D thought it was French in katakana. I realize it's probably Noobow, but out of respect for D, I left it Nouveaux)
- Minotaur > Minotaurus (Compromise between vanilla "Minataros" and new name)
- Warm Eye > Doom Eye (From Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals)
