Her gaze is very offputting, like that of a dog presented with too many bones, or a diner debating which steak to order, or a farmer choosing a pig to slaughter - almost predatory. --

She also starts taking measurements, though she does not actually note anything unless it is OUT OF THE ORDINARY, she is just trying to get a REACTION. --
