  69. 06[00:09] * Ruika hmphs, then walks over to where she's keeping her stuff and her share of the snacks, starting to pack it away.
  70. [00:09] <Marianne> But it gives me the insight to know what the extent of things these people will do to others, and the suffering to know the price of leaving it alone, and pretendign it isn't happening.

  72. [00:11] <Marianne> I won't apologize for punishing the cruel or the wicked. I don't think of myself as anyone special, or even better than others. I do what needs doing, and that is why I'm here.

  81. 06[00:14] * Marianne looks at Ruika, and tries not to laugh.

  83. 06[00:15] * Ruika walks to the door, opens it and turns around.
  84. [00:16] <Ruika> You know, you're so quick to judge and punish me, but you need to realize something. Yeah, I've lied and I've stolen plenty, but I do it because I have to. Because I don't have anything else to do.
  85. [00:16] <Ruika> You on the other hand, you have a job, you have a roof over your head, and you still lie and steal.
  86. [00:17] <Ruika> Maybe you should turn some of that 'punishing the cruel or wicked' back on yourself sometime.

  88. 06[00:17] * Ruika turns around and walks out, shutting the door with emphasis
  89. [00:17] <Marianne> When life gets miserable, you'll still be welcome here. In the mean time, enjoy yourself.

  91. 06[00:19] * Ruika hurries down the stairs as fast as she can, trying not to cry. Kicked out again...
  92. 06[00:20] * Marianne watches the door for a long while afterward.
  93. 06[00:21] * Toko bumps into someone while going up the stairs.

  95. 06[00:21] * Ruika loses purchase on her bag and it goes tumbling down the stairs. At least it stays tied.

  98. 06[00:22] * Ruika looks up at Toko. She is visibly tearing.

  100. 06[00:22] * Ruika bites her lip and looks away, hurrying down the stairs, grabbing her bag and fleeing out the door!

  102. 06[00:23] * Toko considers for a moment before dashing after her.
  103. 06[00:24] * Ruika is already a good distance down the street by the time Toko gets outside. She's well-versed in the arts of GTFO.
  104. 06[00:25] * Toko tosses down her guitar case, quickly converting it into a skateboard and jumping on. She pursues.
  105. 06[00:30] * Ruika hops a nearby fence
  106. 06[00:30] * Ruika runs down the adjacent alleyway
  107. 06[00:33] * Toko curses as she ditches the guitar case, climbing the fence and setting off after the girl.
  108. 06[00:34] * Ruika ran into an alley with no exit. She tries to reach the nearby fire escape, but it's too high

  110. 06[00:35] * Ruika is gifted with a small stepladder and is about to hop up...

  256. 06[02:27] * HoodedGirl backflip out of the window, and disappear into the darkness as she changed her outfit into black urban camo.
  257. [02:27] <Marianne> Ah fuck, right! Bitch is some kind of overpowered schizo. Don't expect the same thing twice.

  267. 06[02:29] * Ruika kicks off the opposing building as she emerges from the windows and lands on the ground outside

  269. [02:29] <HoodedGirl> [Toko and Ruika leaps out, but there's nothing but rows of dark trees. It's as if the tree itself is watching you.]
  270. [02:30] <Ruika> ...trees? But this is supposed to be a city!
  271. [02:31] <HoodedGirl> [it is the same city alright. you can still hear the city's ambience, but somehow THERE'S A LOT OF TREE ALL OF A SUDDEN.]

  273. 06[02:34] * HoodedGirl jumps out of darkness in forest camo outfit, slicing Toko's side with her "CQB Settings" combat knife. her long headband is the last thing you see before she disappears back into the forest line.

  277. 06[02:35] * Ruika is spooked by a flash of movement, then sees Toko

  289. 06[02:50] * Toko calls her stand. It punches the tree that the headband disappeared behind, giving it wheels and sending it crashing into the trees behind.

  291. 06[02:54] * HoodedGirl almost got pinned between two trees, but managed to jump out!
  292. 06[02:54] * HoodedGirl is now in the open in front of Toko!

  294. 06[03:00] * Marianne catches sight of the battle going on.

  302. 06[03:08] * HoodedGirl doesn't have time to change, as a torrent of fist reaches her.
