  1. Jhin appeared visibly pained, and his expression drifts into something akin to volatile as he watches Thera suffering along the ground. He was an individual that wished for many of the warring cities to get along, but upon hearing that Dawn did this? His eyes drift toward Niklaus almost accusingly - but he stops himself. Niklaus was a gentle soul, despite being an arrogant, pompous lad. He would not wish this upon anyone, especially not a kind spirit such as Thera. Even so, the Wvelven lightly shakes in outrage as his fists tighten together into a ball.
  2.
  3. There was so little he could do to assist, but he looks toward the others, seeking out guidance out of the sea of children and adults. "What do we do?! How can I help her? She's my friend and she's in agony!" He quickly lets out, panic gripping his chest. Whatever was dripping out of Thera, it left Jhin rightfully mortified, and he admittedly recoils as it drifts along her body.
  4.
  5. What -was- this stuff, and what was he supposed to do? He attempts to grip Thera's hand in order to bring her comfort, despite his pained expression. She was going to pull through this, he swore it.
  6.
  7. Thera didn't deserve this. No one did.
  8. (Jhin Wvelven)
  9.
  10.
  11. Marceline says, "Well, you heard Kevin."
  12.
  13. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Shhh...It's alright."
  14.
  15. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "Anyone who cannae help get back."
  16.
  17. Niklaus Rowan says, "We need to take her to the -rooms- so she's not crowded."
  18.
  19. Kairi says, "Everyone who isn't a medic, or at least a bit trained, please step back."
  20.
  21. Luna Invidia asks, "How about getting the lady to an appropriate medical facility, stabalize her and then ask her questions?"
  22.
  23. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín exclaims, "Just back off!"
  24.
  25. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín exclaims, "If ya ain't trained get back! Shoo!"
  26. Amy takes the note that was handed to her by Nasu, giving him a puzzled look before she began to read it. Her eyes immediately widened and the girl, without notice ran out of the manor, on the verge of tears.
  27. (Amy)
  28.
  29. As an Order magi, Ohtli at least has one thing to her credit. She encourages that aura of calm, collected reason to the fore to encompass those around her.
  30.
  31. "Medics. Please come with me. I know where there's a bed we can put her. All others...please remain here. This will be handled."
  32.
  33. The Dragon-bird turned shepherd tries to coax along Niklaus as his payload of the young magi.
  34.
  35. "This way...this way," she urges soothingly.
  36. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  37.
  38. Swalia whispers something.
  39.
  40.
  41. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "Jhin, Kane, that means ya too."
  42. Tsu then rises as Thera is picked up, still holding her hand.
  43. (Tsu Iclyn)
  44.
  45. In his mind he knew what actions needed to be taken with so much destruction lingering upon their horizon. Eventually his gaze settling upon Calael as still he seemed uneasy and wary of bringing about such a new power to Agartha.
  46.
  47. "War remains upon the horizons. Demons who feast and are close to the brink of breaking Gehenna, where Huangzhou refuses to offer aid." His words brought about by a pause. Hands folding and idly pressing against one another.
  48.
  49. "I want no one else to die. Those we bless, those who can aid us... We need them right now. Agartha needs them, they need more than just us."
  50.
  51. His powers had been displayed many times over, strength which so many had been unable to stand against.
  52.
  53. "That is why we must do this, act upon this blessing tonight. Lest Gehenna fall to the hands of demons and Vampires."
  54. (Sera Elisheva)
  55.
  56. Ren Shi whispers something.
  57.
  58. Esso purses his lips, taking a moment to decide if he should actually speak at all. What's going on behind him is startling, but with a crowd growing around the injured girl, he keeps his main attention on the spectacle before them.
  59.
  60. He stays silent until something Calael says hits him and sticks to him.
  61.
  62. A sword..
  63.
  64. He tilts his head, speaking up loudly, hopefully enough so to be heard.
  65.
  66. "If you're trying to make guardians, wouldn't a shield be a better word for someone you're trying to bless than a sword?"
  67. (Esso Naam)
  68.
  69.
  70. Sera Elisheva says, "We have our shield. Don't worry."
  71. Sera gives a nod towards Nepheira.
  72. (Sera Elisheva)
  73.
  74. Acheron elbows his brother.
  75. (Acheron Argiano)
  76.
  77.
  78. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "JHin."
  79. Acheron Argiano whispers something.
  80.
  81.
  82. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín asks, "Can ya do medical stuff?"
  83.
  84. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "If no? Get back."
  85. Isaac glanced between Noel and Mikhaila, listening closely. Though, there's a frown that immediately steals his grin away when he listens to what they have to say. Approaching the trio, he walks around them as he speaks - a light limp in his step...
  86.
  87. And he's silent, thinking.
  88.
  89. There wasn't a clear way to say this without being especially rude, but he was good at that.
  90.
  91. "You're naive if you think you can do anything by being soft, pristine, and merciful," he looks to Noel in particular, and gestures out towards him, "Always a way around death? Are you going to ask Arthur to sit down for a cup of tea, or maybe enjoy a quiet picnic evening with Lucien? Please."
  92.
  93. "There is not a way around this. So long as people cling to Luminism, to Azraelism, or whatever else ideology they might have. See how many opinions you can change in a lifetime; it's going to be a painful, and awfully slow process."
  94.
  95. Isaac looked frustrated. He felt condemned, and he was on the defense. As if trying to justify his desires. "I don't know what kind of person I am, yeah. I know that whatever you're trying to be isn't going to work, though. You can't expect to keep your hands clean."
  96. (Isaac)
  97.
  98.
  99. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "It's contagious."
  100. Taiga Megumi has entered Elisheva Manor.
  101.
  102.
  103. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Go, go...Into a bed."
  104.
  105. Tsu Iclyn says, "The labratory next to this house serves as our clinic. My supplies are there..."
  106.
  107. Kairi says, "...we should go there, then."
  108.
  109. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Keep her here. Go get your supplies."
  110.
  111. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "We shouldn't risk moving her again."
  112.
  113. Tsu Iclyn says, "Let me look at her first, then we can either move her or I'... here, take this key."
  114.
  115. Kairi says, "I have some stuff with me. It- should be enough for anything simple and non-magical."
  116. Tsu hands Ohtli her key then returns her attention to Thera. "I don't know what I need yet... oh, what is this madness?"
  117. (Tsu Iclyn)
  118.
  119. Ohtli blinks down at the key.
  120. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  121.
  122.
  123. Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "...You want me to get the supplies?"
  124.
  125. Tsu Iclyn asks, "Are you asking me?"
  126.
  127. Jhin Wvelven exclaims, "Someone needs to get them!"
  128.
  129. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "You handed me a key."
  130.
  131. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Tell me what you need. I'm old, but I can still be quick."
  132. Tsu doesn't look away from Thera as she takes her pulse, feels her temperature and triees to find an injury on her body.
  133. (Tsu Iclyn)
  134.
  135.
  136. Tsu Iclyn says, "Just, give me a moment and I will tell you what to get for me."
  137. Someone is carrying her, someone is squeezing her hand, as her vision fades to black. In and out of consciousness, she can see Tsu, a stranger carrying her, several familiar faces, Ohtli and Jhin, even. Then, as her lids close, and darkness embraces her.
  138.
  139. Emerald eyes shine down on the youth. Whispers of power, words of madness, promises that would never be fulfilled. There is an attempt to raise her hands, to cover her ears, yet all she can muster is a scream. Louder and louder, the crescendo of pain echoes within the corridors. "No, no no, no, no, no, no, no, no! "
  140.
  141. Ebony ichor continues to spill from her nostrils and eyes. The more she writhes, the more liquid is unleashed. "-make it stop, make it stop, please!"
  142. (Thera Minerals)
  143.
  144.
  145. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "...You two. If you're not doctors? Please. Out."
  146. Agava shakes her head and points towards Thera.
  147. (Agava)
  148.
  149.
  150. Jhin Wvelven says, "I'm not leavin' my friend. Half the people here aren't doctors."
  151.
  152. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Then stand closer to the hallway. -Please-."
  153.
  154. Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "Alright?"
  155. Agava shakes head once more.
  156. (Agava)
  157.
  158.
  159. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "..."
  160. Jhin complies to a degree. He gives them PLENTY of space, but he's clearly distressed and annoyed.
  161. (Jhin Wvelven)
  162.
  163. The writhing girl is clutched onto and he gave a shaking little breath. He'd seen horror, a lot of it. Especially when Sors commanded Ann to maim Cameron. His teeth grit together a bit, and in the moment, one could barely discern that he was actually the Lich King's son.
  164.
  165. For a moment, the holy magic within him begged to give protection more than anything else.
  166.
  167. A part of him didn't even know who he was anymore.
  168.
  169. "It's going to be okay. It's... going to be okay."
  170.
  171. It's chanted as he moves toward one of the beds, carefully aiming to lay the girl down onto the bed. His clothing is stained by the excretions, and a hazy aura of holy magic spins around his form, intermingled with gentle, healing waters.
  172.
  173. He, thankfully, wouldn't be infected. He stood at the ready, however, to assist Tsu.
  174. (Niklaus Rowan)
  175.
  176. "Ya need t'cleanse th'lungs. Had t'help treat someone like this before, Sugarboy showed me how it's done- Ahm-"
  177.
  178. Kirsi winced as Thera cried out, white light flickering beneath the helm. It was apparent the words upset them, given the scent of ozone rose upon the air. How charged and tense the air around them felt.
  179.
  180. "I donnae use water magic, but it- Th'source needs t'be cleaned out, then what's effectin' th'mind will fade out. If ya can use cosmic magic instead, this is a very ahm.. Twisted form of that. Th'pure proper stuff will burn out th'bad stuff."
  181. (Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín)
  182.
  183. Kairi had continued to attempt to soothe the girl as she got carried, and redoubled her efforts as she got placed onto the bed.
  184.
  185. Her holy-energy surrounded hands at doing their best to at least afford Thera some measure of peace- honestly, she's doing basically the same thing Niklaus is, just without the speaking, and with a much less contained aura.
  186. (Kairi)
  187.
  188.
  189. Niklaus Rowan says, "I can use cosmic and holywater."
  190.
  191. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Both can be good for purging infections."
  192. You're too far away. Get closer.
  193.
  194. You're too far away. Get closer.
  195.
  196. You're too far away. Get closer.
  197.
  198.
  199. Niklaus Rowan says, "I'll allow Lady Tsu to inform me where she needs me."
  200. Agava observed Thera in silence, clearly worried about her.
  201. (Agava)
  202.
  203. Tsu observes the black liquid spilling out of Thera, and moves her hands down the girl's body. She feels her neck and her chest, then her belly. Shaking her head, she moves her hands back up to find Thera's sternum, then pressed down on it as hard as she can with both hands. A sharp, quick motion timed carefully with the girl's exhale to force as much air out of her lungs as she can.
  204.
  205. The silver fox doctor observes Thera's reaction and explains, "These spores have filled her lungs. We need to empty them and them put her on a breathing treatment, to start. I need... on the workbench, in a brown wooden box to the top right is a small mask with a bag attached to it. I need that right now, unless somebody here can expertly manipulate the air to force air in and pull it out with her breathing."
  206.
  207. "If you do, then we need to time it. We will count out loud to eight as Thera exhales, and then to ten as she inhales. Thera, even if nobody has wind, you and I are going to do that now, and as you finish exhaling, I am going to push down like I did before, okay?" she explained to the room.
  208. (Tsu Iclyn)
  209.
  210.
  211. Kairi says, "I'm a wind magi."
  212.
  213. Tsu Iclyn asks, "Very well, can you do as I asked?"
  214. Agava rustles loudly with her hair as if to try and catch others attention only to rise one of her hands to form a small cloud of spores, soon she tilts her head as if to ask if she could be of use with her control over the poison.
  215. (Agava)
  216.
  217. The Drakan stands sentinel at her fresh post by the entryway to the partitioned room. She turns her head to listen to the doctor's careful instructions.
  218.
  219. "I am also. The Serpent gifts my people with wind. But ask, and I will fetch whatever you need."
  220. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  221.
  222.
  223. Kairi asks, "I- think I can, yeah. So- as she breathes, use wind magic to pull the spores out?"
  224.
  225. Tsu Iclyn asks, "Yes, so long as you are confident you can do so without hurting her further. Be cautious and do not push in too much air, or pull too much out. We will do several repetitions, so there is no need to try to get them all at once. Understand?"
  226. Kairi nods once, "Understood."
  227. (Kairi)
  228.
  229. Ohtli out of nowhere twitches and stands bolt upright, eyes going wide as she stares to the southern wall.
  230. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  231.
  232. The head of such a Demi-Angel would lower itself back in the directions of their siblings as each made their way outside. Those wings upon his back once stretched outwards soon pulling back inwards as his voice had fallen upon deaf ears. Once more it seemed as though each were alone on this matter, how the whispers of Isaac would be reduced to a memory.
  233.
  234. "Do not feel as though you are hated, Isaac. In time a Guardian will need to be picked, once all are ready I am certain we can enact such another time." His voice spoken in a low hum, that sadness plastered upon his features only clung to his gaze now. Staring back at all as they looked upon him, this Demi-Angel which sought only to breathe new life upon this continent.
  235.
  236. "... Otherwise none will be chosen."
  237.
  238. Desperation, emotion would eventually drive them all. His heart beat against his chest with every powerful and booming thud, with only a blank gaze being offered back towards Eiphraem.
  239. (Sera Elisheva)
  240. (Posted 0 minutes ago)
  241.
  242. Sera Elisheva says, "Then, I suppose I am alone on this matter."
  243. (Posted 8 minutes ago)
  244.
  245.
  246. Niklaus Rowan asks, "...Lady Ohtli. Is there something wrong?"
  247.
  248. Tsu Iclyn says, "Yes, go get me that bag. I also need... actually just bring that entire box and the smaller one beside it. They might be heavy. Oh, and the bowl, jars an gauze that are sitting next to them."
  249.
  250. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "...No. Nothing wrong."
  251.
  252. Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "Bag, box beside it?"
  253.
  254. Noel Elisheva says, "..."
  255.
  256. Noel Elisheva asks, "Is her condition getting better?"
  257.
  258. Jhin Wvelven asks, "...Are you sure?"
  259.
  260. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Yes. I'm sure."
  261. Ohtli looks over her shoulder to the phsyician to confirm.
  262. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  263.
  264. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  265.
  266.
  267. Tsu Iclyn says, "Yes, boxes... jars and gauze."
  268. She tries to remember the names, the faces that assist her, those the bothered to go out of their way to show her kindness.
  269.
  270. One moment, she can see them, a crowd of people around her. Tsu, counting. The boy that carried her. A healer she'd never met before, and Kirsi? Seeing another familiar face brought her joy, but then?
  271.
  272. Darkness.
  273.
  274. Judgmental emerald eyes descend upon her. Chaotic whispers tempt her, yet she resists the call. Small fingers curl, grabbing hold of the beds fabric, squeezing it into a little ball.
  275.
  276. Light.
  277.
  278. Again, she sees Ohtli. In distance, she can feel the presence of Agavan and Jhin. It's a struggle, to deny the promise of power. To refrain from giving heed to the words of the curse. If it weren't for the ties that bind her? She might not be able to resist.
  279.
  280. Feeble, she casts a gaze to Tsu, offering the Kitsune only a nod. A sign that she heeds her doctors commands.
  281.
  282.
  283. (Thera Minerals)
  284.
  285. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  286.
  287. Noel Elisheva whispers something.
  288.
  289. The Drakan nods one, her wings fanning. Then flap once and-
  290.
  291. She's gone. Little tongues of blue flame dance in the air where she was.
  292.
  293. Nyoom
  294. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  295.
  296. Agava stares at Thera with worried expression.
  297. (Agava)
  298.
  299. Noel Elisheva whispers: Agava? Are you alright?
  300.
  301. Agava shakes her head while gently pointing towards Thera.
  302. (Agava)
  303.
  304. Lifting his hands upwards, the holywater would trickle through the air. Any spores that would be ejected would be captured in the bubbles there to make sure that no one else would be infected.
  305.
  306. And afterwards, they'd be neutralized, turned into nothing more than specks in the water.
  307.
  308. He'd keep doing it, over and over, to make sure that everyone would remain in sound health around them.
  309. (Niklaus Rowan)
  310.
  311. Skrrrrrrrrrt
  312.
  313. In another little pop of wind and blue fire the Drakan returns with a payload of boxes, bags, and jars all stacked atop one another.
  314.
  315. How they manage to stay precariously stacked and unbroken? It must be sorcery. There can be no explanation.
  316.
  317. Just like how in the devil someone so small is actually carrying all that junk on their lonesome. What IS this old bird exactly.
  318.
  319. "Here...I grabbed all I could."
  320. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  321.
  322. Kirsi being the one in the doorway, made to take and pass along what was acquired!
  323. (Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín)
  324.
  325. Jhin looks toward Noel with mild concern, though he had maintained his distance from the medical scenario as requested. He didn't know Ohtli personally, but she was an adult, and they often knew what to do in these situations. "We're worried about Thera, but I think she's going to be okay. It's frustrating not being able to help, but I hope us being here is at least helping her, in some form.
  326.
  327. ...I think your brother's off his rocker, Noel. He's gone from speakin sense about wishing to help Gehenna to supporting someone who is clearly not keeping the best interests of innocent people in mind. It's like everyone's lost their damn mind."
  328.
  329. He looks toward the lad with a notable frown, distressed at the turn of events. Surely, no one was daft enough to believe in someone like that, right? Something about him kept Jhin at odds, though it was difficult to place. More importantly, he wasn't sure how Thera's assault was going to be handled.
  330.
  331. He looks toward the Dryad once more, a hand rising to gently clutch at the fabric adorning his chest.
  332. (Jhin Wvelven)
  333.
  334. Tsu starts to count, timing Thera's breathing in and out Kairi manipulates the air to help her expel all of the spores over a few minutes of deep breathing. Once they stop pouring out of her nose and mouth with every exhale, then Tsu waves for them to stop, and moves to the supplies Othli had quickly returned with.
  335.
  336. From the smaller box, she pulls out a syringe, empty. She moves to Thera's side and turns over her arm. With gauze dipped in a jar of antiseptic, she wipes a spot clean then uses the syringe to take a sample of her blood. She lifts the clear syringe to the light and studies it for a moment, seeing a darkness what should be a bright red. <font=white>"Oh. She... can anybody manipulate blood?"
  337. (Tsu Iclyn)
  338.
  339.
  340. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "...No. Lots of people lack sense these days, I'm afraid."
  341.
  342. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "-If you all need me to fetch anything else, say the word."
  343.
  344. Tsu Iclyn says, "Thank you."
  345.
  346. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "No trouble at all."
  347. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  348.
  349. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  350.
  351. Agava lets a soundless sigh, only to start fiddling with her hands in a nervous manner as her hair start to rustle loudly.
  352. (Agava)
  353.
  354. Noel Elisheva whispers: Sera is blindly in.. love? with that guy Isaac, and he's clearly bad news.
  355.
  356. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  357.
  358. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  359.
  360. Ohtli frowns.
  361. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  362.
  363.
  364. Noel Elisheva says, ".. I agree, Jhin."
  365. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  366.
  367. Noel Elisheva whispers: Yeah.
  368.
  369. Agava narrows her eyes in angered manner upon hearing name Isaac.
  370. (Agava)
  371.
  372. Ohtli Tezcacoatl whispers something.
  373.
  374. Noel Elisheva whispers: (brb
  375.
  376. Ohtli huffs softly and does some fastidious preening of the angel child to her right.
  377. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  378.
  379. Before they even had begun attempting to withdraw the air, Kairi had begun to manipulate it over to the side, attempting to get a rhythm going before actually controlling the air within Thera.
  380.
  381. When they do begin, she hesitates a moment, before beginning the slow process of dragging all the occult spores out of the injured girl.
  382.
  383. Trusting Niklaus with the disposal of the spores, she leans back and exhales tiredly once none come out, releasing her manipulation.
  384.
  385. Wow. Precise control like that is hard. It's kinda obvious she isn't the best at precision magic, given her constant emanation of cold.
  386.
  387. Shaking her head to Tsu's question, she steadies herself before returning to pass holy-energy covered hands over Thera, once more doing her best to soothe her.
  388.
  389. "I'm not. I'm sorry."
  390. (Kairi)
  391.
  392.
  393. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "Holy magic works on it, helps to purge it."
  394.
  395. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "...If you require something purged, I can maybe be of help."
  396.
  397. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "But I'm no doctor."
  398. Ohtli flashes a worried frown at the group over her shoulder.
  399. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  400.
  401.
  402. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "It uh.. It's-"
  403.
  404. Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "...What is the nature of it?"
  405.
  406. Tsu Iclyn says, "We can all work to do it together. I believe several of us could lend our strength and blessing to such a purpose."
  407.
  408. Niklaus Rowan says, "We could use water to slowly filtrate her blood."
  409.
  410. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "I'd need to know the nature of what's going on before I can help."
  411.
  412. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, ".. Ahm.. has something to do with the Void. A disease developed by some necromancer."
  413.
  414. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Ah..."
  415.
  416. Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín says, "Celestial influence."
  417.
  418. Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "I can likely remove the more...Chaotic aspects?"
  419.
  420. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Only if it's required."
  421. Agava clings herself to Jhin and Noel, clearly upset about the situation.
  422. (Agava)
  423.
  424. Taiga looks between Marceline and Isaac, seemingly skeptical of whatever they were planning together. He's eyeing the door by now, having spent too much time at this part for his own liking. Thankfully, with careful planning and expert dodges, he had managed to avoid making a single real friend. Staying much longer put that in jeopardy.
  425.
  426. "If that's what you want. I'm not sure about him, to be honest. He seems strong, though."
  427. (Taiga Megumi)
  428. (Posted 7 minutes ago)
  429.
  430. Taiga Megumi asks, "Marceline. Are we almost done here?"
  431. (Posted 0 minutes ago)

  439. Taiga Megumi asks, "Marceline. Are we almost done here?"

  441.
  442. As they work as a group to cleanse her lungs, the teens breathing grows stable. Where each exhale contained a cluster of infection, it trickled from small specs, to nothingness. Yet, despite the stable breathing, her eyes continued to drain. Thick fluids, tears akin to tar, poured from the corners of her eyes.
  443.
  444. Kirsi was right. This disease is connected to the void, chaotic in every sense of the word, aiming to torture one who dared to dabble in the arcane.
  445.
  446. One who struggled to posses the blessings of Order.
  447.
  448. "A-ack! Blegh!" Twitching, twisting, and turning, she shows sign of sever discomfort. Where a portion of the infection is cured, the tar still infects her veins. The chaos still infests her mind--
  449. (Thera Minerals)
  450.
  451. "All of us that can exorcise a curse, surround the bed. Let us combine our efforts on the girl to cleans her body of this infection before it takes her. If you can use water or ice, please keep her comfortable," Tsu requested as she closed her eyes and brought her palms together in front of her chest in a praying or namaste position. Holy sunlight started to glow along her form after a moment of focused breathing and clearing of her mind, then moved her hands out over Thera's body as she hoped others would. The holy light descended her arms and hands, flowing into the girl and isolating the curse, burning at it as the girl felt her body start to heat deep within her core.
  452. (Tsu Iclyn)
  453.
  454. The Drakan shifts uncomfortably. She can sense it clearly, something...crawling. Lurking. Ohtli begins reaching for something within her coat.
  455.
  456. "...You're certain, then?" she asks hesitantly.
  457. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  458.
  459. Jhin continues to look onward, studying the pain in which Thera suffered through. There was little that could be done on his part, outside of what he's tried thus far. Merely numbing the pain was not a proficient enough method, and thus he's been reduced to merely watching and remaining hopeful. The sight of his friend suffering at the hands of an enemy attack had shaken Jhin to his core. The war has never come this far before-hand, and now it was truly beginning to affect the citizens within Huangzhou.
  460.
  461. He could only look onward as Thera screams and writhes in pain, afflicted with the venomous, and malicious disease that Sors had wrought throughout her body. Heat shimmers along Jhin's form, bitter tears threatening to spill over his eyes. With his fists clenching audibly together, he could only study the sight with growing frustration.
  462.
  463. Thera had never hurt anyone, and farmed crops to ensure that people were not starving. Only a truly irredeemable individual could bring her such harm, and he would not forgive them. Perhaps he was naïve to believe that those within Dawn could have been saved, after all.
  464. (Jhin Wvelven)
  465.
  466.
  467. Ohtli Tezcacoatl asks, "If you want my help, I have to ask- is there anyone in this room that uses strong occult or is currently carrying any corrupted items?"
  468. Tsu is silent.
  469. (Tsu Iclyn)
  470.
  471.
  472. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "I say this because I do not want to end up trying to kill you."
  473.
  474. Niklaus Rowan says, "Nope."
  475. Kairi nods to Tsu, then nods again. She withdraws her staff from her bag and plants it to the ground.
  476.
  477. A moment after, the temperature in the room drops considerably. Not enough to be uncomfortable, really- but definitely noticeable.
  478.
  479. The moisture in the air is chilled rapidly, causing drops of water to condense in the air before being swirled together to rest against Thera's head, in an attempt to cool the injured girl's head- she has to be with fever right now, and hopefully cooling her head a bit will let her think more clearly.
  480.
  481. Which might or might not help the girl in her fight against the occult curse.
  482.
  483. The selkie's free hand extends once more to Thera, holy energy concentrated on it. Said holy energy proceeds to attempt to drive into the girl, doing it's best to cleanse the girl from the legs up.
  484.
  485. Although, it's an occult curse. A bit of holy energy won't just make it go away instantly. This'll take some time. And a lot of energy.
  486. (Kairi)
  487.
  488.
  489. Kairi says, "I don't think so."
  490.
  491. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "Good...good."
  492.
  493. Ohtli Tezcacoatl says, "I apologize in advance."
  494. The Drakan does look certainly apologetic as she removes something likely unexpected from her long dress-cloak.
  495.
  496. A tribal headdress of arcanium and scintillating feathers, deeply at odds with her fine attire she'd worn for the occasion. The green metal is hewn into the face of a snarling serpent.
  497.
  498. If that weren't enough on its own it is adorned with a great, glittering gem in the center of its forehead. A gem that shines with every color imaginable; the entire thing simply hums with latent power.
  499.
  500. Ohtli takes a deep, bracing breath, then slips it onto her head. It fits perfectly- as it ought to, since it was made for her, and made precisely for purposes like this.
  501.
  502. Power from the raiment seeps into the wielder. It changes her. For poor Niklaus the right half of the room is about to get -very- crowded as the Quetzal's wingspan expands. Her horns lengthen, and the scales that once were simply comfortable with resting on her forearms travel and crawl across her skin like hungry ivy, consuming the flesh on her neck and parts of her face.
  503.
  504. She traipses the borderline on human and....well. Something else.
  505.
  506. The gift of crystal clear clarity joins the physical change and her eyes settle on the ufortunate little Thera.
  507.
  508. Ohtli sniffs the air once, twice, then snarls. Her terrible clawed mitt comes to rest on the young magi's leg. The corruption within begins to quite literally burn away. Like fire in her blood.
  509. (Ohtli Tezcacoatl)
  510.
  511. JHin's gaze hovers upon Ohtli for some time, tensing as she appears to distort with latent power emanating from her. Naturally, he's unsettled by the stark contrast to the bustling elder lady darting about to gather medical supplies. He appears to grow even more concerned when she began to undergo a small transformation, and he takes a step forward as she devolved into something...else. "What are you d-" He's cut off as she swipes down, his eyes widening even further. He fails to understand what was occurring, and he almost yells before he realized that the corruption was beginning to be ripped clean of his precious friend.
  512.
  513. Don't you tire of being helpless?
  514.
  515. Jhin glances over at Agava for a moment, only to reluctantly look back into the medical room. He glances between Ohtli and Thera quickly, the panic that had taken over his features gradually fading. Uncertainty replaces it, but he chose to ignore what he perceives as his imagination.
  516.
  517. "What...did you do? Is she gonna be okay? Are you??"
  518. (Jhin Wvelven)
  519.
  520. Cold combats the fever, due to the efforts of Kairi. It's a temporary relief to combat the terrifying ailing, but one appreciated non-the-less.
  521.
  522. As exorcist energy floods through her frame, from various sources, the pain she endures begins to dissipate. While temporary, she attains a state of bliss. Where suffering once enveloped her, joy had taken hold!
  523.
  524. Fire.
  525.
  526. It felt as if raging flames burst within her veins. Feeble screams emanate from the mouth of this tormented teen, attempting to wail, writhing within the grasp of many. No words spill from her lips as the corruption is purged, only intangible screams.
  527.
  528. Despite all her kicking, thrusting, and flailing, all signs of physical discomfort come to a halt.
  529.
  530. Out like a light, she reaches unconsciousness peacefully, free of the terrible plight.
  531.
  532. What a horrible night to have curse.
  533. (Thera Minerals)
  534.
  535. With Thera evidently stable, Jhin would reluctantly move to exit the vicinity. He glances back briefly at the scene, before sternly making his way onward. Wiping at his eyes, he would do well to hide the tears that had been brought from this horrible situation. To think that people were capable of such evils as to target someone like Thera...perhaps what some of the more dynamic opposition of Dawn had made a valid point. The things they were accomplishing were truly irredeemable in most cases, but he tries his best not to be sucked into a cycle of hatred.
  536.
  537. Niklaus was different than most. There were plenty others in Dawn just like him. He wouldn't jump to condemn a whole city, but they were surely not friends of his, if they would target those he held dear.
  538. (Jhin Wvelven)
