Creating Ice magic!

 Ice.

It's been pratically a year since Kyo has learned magic and it was about time that he found himself ready enough to actually learn Ice. Seeing as the warning in the book of Ice was the only warning he took to heart. The reason for this was because he had to know water and wind magic before even attempting to form ice. Which he also thought to be a hard magic. But it might be easier since he, himself. Had known water and wind. Even though he had struggled with just learning the element itself. Now. He could actually perform miracles.

For wind, he was able to levitate himself to high grounds by forming a minature tornado around his body to raise him up higher! He even learned how to control the very air that he breathed. Which was amazing in his eyes. All he had to do next was master water the same way. Which in his eyes. He had done! Yes it had took many months aswell it had with wind. But it was all worth it. His time to summon up water and form it into a ball and send a torret of water towards a target was easy. Forming whips to grab things or even break them. He done it! Aswell as using bubbles to keep him underwater for a longer time. Accomplished. He even went as far as gathering water from nearby sources. Well's, Lake's, the ground! He even felt like he could gather the same liquids from plant life and humans. But he thought about the mere possibilities that could happen on someone. So he strayed from entering that domain.

But now! he felt ready. Ready to get this work done and learn Ice magic!

Once again, he was outside with a book that he gathered from the Orhpanage. Heading towards his previvious place that he had sat down with that one girlie Millia and tried to learn water.

After Ciel left, she wasn't left to do very much! So she read the book on lightning magic over again. Making that the eleventh time. After, she put the book up, in her satchel. She was feeling pretty confidant as she made her way towards mastering the element!

But now she was at a lost to what to do. So it quickly came to her to go look for one of her friends. They had to be around, somewhere. She mainly wanted to find Lenard first, to see if he was busy. If he wasn't, she could have gotten a lesson on holy magic. If not, well... She could have found someone else. Or just went to go practice by herself for a time. She'd just have to see where things would have gone.

She saw real quickly, as he eyes laid on Kyo. He had that book again. The one he probably took from the orphanage without permission.

Millia made her way over to him. Not to bother him about the book, regardless of how much she actually wanted to, but to greet him! He was a friend afterall.

"Hai Kyo!" Waving as she made her way to walk along with him. "Where are you going?"

 Millia!

"Aah!" Kyo exclaimed as Millia appeared out of no where. "Uugh. Me? I'm.. Uuhh.. It's nice too see you too Millia! It's been a while!" he announced as he gazed upon the girl who he hadn't seen in months. She seemed different. More outgoing if anything. Smiling, he felt rather good knowing that she was here by his side.

"I'm trying to learn Ice magic! I mastered water and wind already so I'm moving on to something much much harder!" he said with glee. Moving his hand to bring up the book. He opened it with both hands to the first page. Which suddenly changed the atmopshere around them. A chilling wind would come forth from the book and embrace them slightly, slowly making the both of them feel as if the air around them has gotten a bit 'chillier' than before.

Smiling even more, he looked to Millia. "Isn't it cool?! It's not even me its the book!"

 He seemed a bit scared to see her. That was strange. She didn't look scary did she? No she was adorable. He was just acting like a coward. A few nods of her head as she agreed with the thought. "Mhm! It's been awhile." She actually didn't know. Millia was never one to keep time unless it was to know when to go looking for Mama.

"You told me that before already! But it's good that you know water magic now, because it means your learning!" More agreement nods to her own statements. Than she stopped and her eyes fell down to the book he showed it her. And it got colder. Millia stirred herself away alittle, because she wasn't too use to the feeling. "Books don't do that! You're sure it's not you?"

Millia has read alot of books. Never has one made the area around it cold. So she wasn't too quick to accept the fact. Probably wouldn't soon, anyway.

Excitement

Kyo didn't really mean to be scared. But she did shock her with her sudden appearance. Nodding, he replied. "Yes, it has been a while." She would then go on to express how he was learning, which made him much happier than before as he exclaimed with excitement. " I know right! I just hope that I can finally learn Ice magic! Man oh man it would be cool!" he said as he continued to hold up the book. She would then seem to get a little distance as the book seemed to freak her out a bit. Which made him frown.

"No. I wish it was me. . . . Why don't you open it. I'm telling you. Ice magic is a while different story!" he said as he reached out and closing the book. He would then hand it towards Millia. Hoping that she would take it from him and attempt to do it herself

"You'll probably learn it in no time!" She had alot of confidence that he could learn the magic he sought with enough reading. That was how she was learning magic, and she was making real good progress too. But she didn't come up to him to talk to him about how she was learning magic, or to much think on it.

But now that she actually thought about it, she didn't come up to him with many reasons at all, except to greet him. But she had a reason to talk to him now. T H A T B O O K.

He'd close it and offer it to her. She was real quick to shake her head. "Now lem'me tell you something...! I don't want that book close to me. Books don't do that, so there's something wrong with that book! You can keep it, but keep it away from me. I don't know what it'll do if it can make people cold and stuff."

Maybe that book was magic or something. A real spooky magic. N O P E.

Confidence boost!

"Hopefully!" he responded towards Millia as she boosted him on with morale support. But quickly he would frown again as his friend denied his book. Plus with good reasons too. But.... Thinking on the positive side. He smirked. Thinking of something quick. He knew that jokes always made an awkward moment great. So chuckling. He brought the book close to him and opened it. Being embraced by the winds. He smiled and looked at her. "So your saying that you believe that the book is giving off the chilly feeling?" he said. Hoping to make her remember that she said that it was probably him and not the book.

"Hehe... " he smiled as he held it up in the sun. " Ice is truly amazing isn't it?!" he exclaimed

O B J E C T I O N!

"N-No...!" She say, seeing holes in her statements now! She didn't know what to say that wouldn't be a contradiction! She wanted to be right about this, because she really didn't believe that the book could make the place cold, but at the same time she did.

Than it came to her! "You... Or probably someone else, did something to that book it make it like that! So it's still probably you!" That sounded like something that was possible. She heard of people able to do that. Crave or something to make objects do magic. And so, she only had on thing left to say to him. The final piece of evidence! Even though the evidence was mostly things that might or might not have been right since she just put it all together.

"You gave it that chilly feeling!"

A D M I T T !

Smiling. "You sure?" he said as he ushered his book towards her. " Then why don't you want to read it? Or even touch it?" he said teasingly

It was then that he called her on his words. Which made him a bit furiated. "Millia! I didn't! I promise you! There is no way that a boy like me could possibly merge water with wind. To compress it in such a way that it forms a ice spike! Or even freezing something! Millia... come on trust me. There is no way! I haven't even went as far as reading the entire book! Just half of it. Its impossible!" he said outloud towards Millia as he opened the book towards Millia.

Releasing the chilling air towards her in a playful way. It was his attempts of making her feel a bit chilly towards her as he begun to chase her with it playfully. But would obviously stop if she got to mad.

It was only just as he started to chase her. Would he trip on a small hole in the ground and fall face first into a rather large rock. Afraid at his last attempts. He wasn't sure if he would rather summon water from the ground to confort his fall or blow wind directly into the ground below him. So in this situation. He used both in a jiffy. Blowing hard gust of winds straight into the rock as water came over it and formed over the rock. Frowning he gave it his all as he wasn't given much room to use wind to push himself up from a rather fateful fall. So he intertwinned the two. Using as much power as he did. He combined it. Trying to solidfy it so he could instead just hold on to somthing instead of just pushing himself to a stand. But unknowingly, he actually did manage to pull it off. Pushing both hands forward as he grabbed onto something. But the surface was rather.. Chilly... Not something that he realized something that he could actually do.

Sweating like a mad man. Kyo started to breath like crazy. It was only then that he realized that he made a small pillar of ice that he was holding onto. Shocked. He pushed himself backwards on his butt and started at it in shock.

"I-I...... i did that?" he said with panic in his voice.

She was quick to hide behind the tree when the book was opened her direction! She didn't like that book. Not one bit. He probably knew that was doing it anyway. Why?! She dindu nuffin to him, except call him a liar! That wasn't anything bad! Okay, maybe. But she still didn't deserve to get frozen by a book!

That was what was going to happen, right? That was what she assumed. She peeped from behind the tree, only to see Kyo running towards her. "Ahh!" She run away, as a reaction. Towards the stands. She hopped over one and hide. But she foun something wrong. She had been there for about a minute. And surely, Kyo must have seen where she hid. So why wasn't he coming. She wasn't sure if this was a blessing from above, or something was wrong.

It couldn't be a blessing over something so small, could it.

Something was wrong! She peeped her head from behind her cover, looking around for Kyo. He was panicked about something. "Are you alright over there?! Don't come over here with that book!"

Sitting back on his rump. He was focused on the small pillar of ice that he had made that actually melted within seconds which left the floor moist. Frowning. He pointed at the rock and looked over to Millia.

"Didn't you see that! I-I made Ice! Look!" he announced as he stood up and shaking, He walked over towards the same boulder and attempted what he had done before. Summong gusts of wind and water and compressed them together. But this time. There was nothing that he could do. The only thing that was happening was a huge puddle of water with a hole in the center of it as he tried to make ice again. But this time. No Ice came to be. Just wind pushing against water.

Seeing this. Kyo looked back towards Millia. "I promise you. I made Ice. I don't know how but I did!" he said as he shook his head. "Nevermind...." he said as he just shook his head.

"Want to do something else." as he quickly got over Ice magic. It scared Millia and he wasn't able to form it after his doing so. So he gave up. Ice was something scary. If it made his only friend afraid. He wasn't going to do it again.... infront of her that is

 "Nope. I didn't see." She was too busy taking. Not getting frozen by a book. But she was interested now. She come from behind the stand a move over, keeping an eye on the book for a minute to make sure he kept that closed. Than back to him. "So you can make ice, Ehh!" She said outloud.

Now who was making contradictions! He said earlier that he couldn't make ice, and now he could! Something didn't add up, and it seemed someone was getting their story messed up! And she was pretty sure it wasn't her, because she told no story!

Want to do something else? "You're not getting off that easy! I want to see you make ice! And I won't let you leave until you do...!" And she wasn't scared of ice. Her great grandmother could use ice magic, as she heard! So, she didn't need to be scared of it. But she did want to see it one day. She was hoping that day was today, as she had someone who could 'appearently' make ice infront of her.

She wanted for him to make some ice. Than they could have done something else.

The Challenge

Standing back. He felt rather shy about his Ice magic. Seeing how it made Millia afraid of it. It took him aback. Making him rethink of the dangers that Ice could bring. But it could also bring about many wonders. Making it a double edged sword. But suddenly. It didn't seem all that bad as Millia had came out on him and seemed to tease him about making Ice. Which made him curious about her even wanting to see ice again.

"Sooo wait a second....... Your not scared of Ice. But your scared of a book. That lets out a chilly breeze?" he questioned as he was confused out of his mind.

Shrugging. He raised his right hand up towards a tree nearby. "I'm telling you. If I don't make it. Then you can't blame me." he complained as he focused his mana into his palm. Preparing himself to shoot out what he would thing to be an ice spike. Concentrating of building up water and wind together to make up a solidified objected. He concentrated hard. Then within moments to come. A small ice spike tip formed from his palm and came out slowly before shooting out towards the tree and embedding itself deep within it

"Wow..." he said in shock

She just sat there quiet, and act like she didn't hear that. Maybe she was scared of the book. Maybe she wasn't. But... She was and it was very obvious. And instead, she would have waited for him to show her a bit of ice magic.

Millia played with some string while he tried to make some ice. Eventually she would have looked up to him to see how he was progressing on that front. No progress. Just as her eyes fell, she'd take notice to what he did! Ice! Right out of his palm and shot towards the three.

"Cool..."

Awe lasted for a minute. Than, she moved on to something else. "So what was that about not being able to use ice magic earlier... HM!" She didn't like being lied to!

Shocked at his own talent. Kyo looked at Millia. " I promise I couldn't do that a few seconds ago-..." he said, but it seemed that it didn't mean anything as he had no way of proving it to himself or even her that what he said was true. So perhaps. It was time for plan B.

"Haha. Ha. I meant. I couldn't do it then. Because there was no Ice. But now there is! So that means. That there is Ice. Which is now. Not then! Haha. Ha..... ha...." he said as he tried to joke his way out of this situation. He hoped that it would work. But he was pretty sure that Millia wasn't dumb and was going to call him out before long.

"Well. I can make Ice now! So that counts right?"
