- Covet: Cadence was sitting on the couch trying to finish her book, keeping herself distracted so she wasn't trying to over worry herself about the other stuff going on right now. She was concerned about how Remy was doing with all of this, but doing her best just to be supportive without being obnoxious.
- Tsaaq: Remy had been researching side affects to all of Hayley's meds for the past few days. He kept his computer in his lap and sipped from his mug of coffee. He looked over his shoulder at Cadence. "What?" He asked a little defensively.
- Covet: "I didn't say anything" She said looking at him, pulling her eyes from her book. "I mean.. I was thinking things, but I hadn't actually said anything... You okay over there?" She asked him with a sympathetic look.
- Tsaaq: "Yeah, I'm fine." Remy said as he closed the laptop. "I was just reading some shit." He muttered as he put his laptop aside then leaned forward, leaning his elbows on his knees as he rested his head in his hands.
- Covet: "Hayley's stuff?" She asked as he gave her a vague answer. She moved over and went to run her finger tips along his back in a comforting way. "You worried about the medications or?" Cadence leaned in to give him a soft kiss on the cheek.
- Tsaaq: Remy shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, if the side effects are fucked up and she gets more fucked up my parents are gonna kill me." He muttered as he stood up. "We should've just took her out of the clinic when we first had problems with that other bitch doctor."
- Covet: "Hey, it's going to be okay. At least it was caught sooner rather than later. She's taking Prozac and Xanax right? Those are pretty standard medications that people have few reactions with, and if they help her that's a good thing right?" She said to him watching as he stood up. "I'm not sure if there was anything we could have done in that situation. We tried and were shut down."
- Tsaaq: "I guess so. If it's all going okay..." He sighed. "It's just... We saw all the signs. And she kept getting worse and worse and we just let it happen." Remy grumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets.
- Covet: "I know. But we were told to give it time, so we trusted that they had it under control for her. Anyone could have had this happen. It's not like we blatantly ingnored the signs, we kept note of it, you even went to talk to her. Was there more that could have been done, Sure, but at the same time, how much would Hayley have fought it, with how she was?" She asked him. "Don't beat yourself up so much, you're doing the best you can, Babe."
- Tsaaq: Remy shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. It's kind of shitty. Like yeah, she suffers but she could've done a considerable lower amount of suffering if somebody did something sooner. But we were busy trying to cover out asses. I can't help but feel guilty, I'm sorry."
- Covet: "Don't apologize. Trust me... the what if game is one I'm completely familiar with. But all it does is makes you feel more guilty. You know what's up with her now, they've got her on the right track to actually help her. You've put a lot on your shoulders between dealing with me and dealing with Hayley, and with how you've been working of course things are going to slip through, but thankfully someone else caught on. You can't do it all by yourself, all the time." She said trying to comfort him.
- Tsaaq: He nodded his head as he crossed his arms over his chest. "I don't know. I get worried." He said quietly. "But I guess fussing over spilled milk doesn't mean shit. Hopefully she'll be okay. I know she hates being locked away more than anything. I mean who would be cool with that? I just hope she won't have to stay in the fucking clinic again. "
- Covet: "It's okay to be worried, I just don't want you to take it all on yourself." She told him standing up to take his face in her hands, before she stood on her tippy toes to give him a kiss. "We'll get her feeling better, and if something worse happens, we can look for someplace private that's like one of those cool retreat places dedicated to helping people with specific needs like her, as a back up, if that will help put your mind at ease. Hopefully we don't have to use that, but if we do we know it's there. I think we all know how much that place can suck, especially with a bad experience like this." She told him rubbing her hands over his arms.
- Tsaaq: Remy looked over to her and nodded his head. "Yeah..." He said firmly. He went to wrap his arms around her shoulders and pulled her in. "I just..." Remy trailed off. "I know exactly who did it. And I never did anything. I played alongside them every basketball season and I didn't do shit." He said with a frown.
- Covet: Cadence moved her arms around his back and rested her head on his chest listening to him, "So what if you did something about it now? I mean, if it's still an issue for her, why shouldn't it be an issue for him as well. If you think for one second that I'm going to tell you, Thad doesn't deserve it, that's not going to happen. Hell you wouldn't even have to try that hard to convince me to help." She said in a more serious tone as she looked up at him.
- Tsaaq: "It should be something serious... It shouldn't just be Thad either. Those other guys were there and they fucking did it and they didn't say it was wrong or stopped it. They all are fucked up people." He muttered. "I don't know..." Remy leaned his head on hers a moment until she looked up at him. "I can't help but think about how I let aall this time pass."
- Covet: "Yeah. But how do you go about charging all of them, with little evidence? Portland doesn't even take that shit seriously." Cadence said. "Maybe for Hayley's sake it isn't too late though. "Too bad he probably couldn't be convinced to turn himself in. Forceabley or otherwise."
- Tsaaq: Remy shook his head head. "I don't know. He..." He trailed off. "I've never felt so stuck on what I've wanted to do..." He said. "I need a fucking beer or something." He said as he left the embrace and moved to the fridge.
- Covet: "Do you any ideas? Maybe start from there?" Cadence asked, following slowly behind him leaning against the kitchen table as he got into the fridge. "What's going on in that sexy head of yours?"
- Tsaaq: "I don't have any ideas. Making up some type of revenge plot is immature, and telling the cops is useless as fuck. It's like I can't do shit about shit." He muttered, grabbing a beer and opening it angrily.
- Covet: "What if we just went and beat the crap out of him?" Cadence suggested. "That's not a revenge plot, or telling the cops. That's just getting your frustration out on a flesh bag."
- Tsaaq: Remy sighed as he sipped the beer. "Beating the crap out of him won't mean shit. How many people have done that already in the past?" He replied. "I guess I'm looking more for... Justice. Which I know I won't get. Because the world is a horrible place."
- Covet: "I wish I had the solution for you Babe." She said with a frown. "But unless he's the one who confesses, I don't see him being brought to justice for any of the shit he's done." She bit the inside of her cheek. "It'd definitely be a less horrible place if guys like Thad weren't in it."
- Tsaaq: He finished off whatever was left in his glass. He looked over to Cadence then sighed. "It's whatever. I'm gonna head to bed or something." Remy said.
- Covet: "Okay. I'll be in in a few. I'm just going to make sure the menagerie is situated." Cadence told him as she gave him a soft frown. "I'll rub your back when I get in there if you want." She added
- Tsaaq: "You don't have to... I just need you laying there beside me. Eventually..." Remy told her. He gave her head a kiss before he moved towards the bedroom. "I'll be waiting for you." He called out to Cadence.
- Covet: "Of course. I'd be nowhere else." She told him, kissing him back. She went about making sure that Titus was in his kennel and had water, that Rosie was locked up in his kennel with water then knew that the cats were fine on their own and that Mushu and Strangles were both taken care of earlier. She made her way back into their bedroom and stripped down to her t-shirt and panties before climing into bed with him, curling up next to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and rested her head on him.
