Opal and Victor Epilogue

Victor Angelo left the Foundation shortly after the Rust Incident ended alongside his Fiance Opaline Thompson. He was quite honestly sick of the constant danger he and the people he cared about were in. Once he left, Opal and him took to traveling for some time, making their first stops in Italy and Virginia to meet eachother's parents. Generally their visits went well, although there was a fair bit of embarrassment when the baby photos came out and a bit of confused laughter when Opal's Father's attempt at intimidating Victor backfired. Their travels continued for about a year until their wedding day finally came, a beautiful, if small, ceremony where Victor alternated between grinning like an idiot and being a blabbering mess with tears of joy. After their wedding they settled down in a small, no name town where nothing ever happened. They opened Angelo Labs together while there, making more than a few fantastic (If not entirely ethical) breakthroughs in their respective fields. While he wasn't helping with research however, Victor was a general physician. He found comfort in treating runny noses instead of bullet wounds. Not too long after their arrival they made a wonderful discovery, they had a third Angelo on the way. Opal feinted when she found out, and as soon as she was revived Victor immediately became the most overprotective husband the world had ever seen much to Opal's minor annoyance. Months later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl they named Elizabeth, Eliza for short. Nurses would report having seen Victor crying like a bitch from the moment he saw his daughter. He continued his overprotective streak until she was 3 years old, Opal having finally convinced him that she was not going to hurt herself if he let her out of his sight for more than a second. It was around this time that their final arrival to the family was announced. Before too long at all Stephen Angelo joined their happy family. Although some might have had doubts about this admittedly rather strange couple's ability to raise children, they nurtured a loving and supportive home where their children prospered. They gave them what they did not get in their childhoods. Victor engaged with his son and daughter, making sure he spent as much time as possible with them and enjoying the quiet moments with them. He usually found just as much enjoyment in their family outings as the kids. Opal on the other hand made sure to put family ahead of work and showering their children with affection and worry. Of course they still made sure to put aside plenty of time for each other, never letting the spark of romance that started their relationship to fade. They had went through an absolute hell in their time, some hells not even from their time in The Foundation. But despite all this hardship, or perhaps even because of it, two people who quite honestly may not be the most mentally healthy found love, accepting each other for their flaws, loving each other's quirks, and obsessing over each other more than a bit. It may not have been a storybook romance, but neither of them complained for even a moment. They had found True Love where others hadn't and spent every day reminding each other of that.
