  2. The Flaming Fist conscripts face down the corrupted altar devoted to the murder god, Bhaal, now thoroughly convinced this is the hideout of the cultists that lay underneath the city. A festering den of corruption and foul rituals, who can say what other horrors lie in wait.

  18. The path ahead branches. To the east lies a short flight of stairs leading upwards and presumably further into the hideout. To the southwest, a dry alcove, in which lies a 5-foot-wide, 7-foot-tall tapestry. It depicts a grisly scene of four faceless figures ripping apart a fifth figure, who is screaming.

  24. This tapestry is a depiction of a faceless servant of Bhaal, and if cleaned of the mold can be sold for 200 gold.
  25. This is most likely a tribute to Bhaal.

  35. Lying on the floor of this chamber are the pale bodies of three humans in filthy black robes, arranged in a triangular formation. A lit torch lies between them. The room, empty save for the corpses, isn't bereft of decor. Carved into each of its three doors are full-figure depictions of differing entities.

  49. As Heat Stones pushes past the other conscripts the three bodies leap to their feet with varying cries, "Fools!". The now, very much alive, corpses rush to the levers near the doors and pull them.

  53. The doors rise into their frames and a reveal a myriad of horrific creatures. To the north, writhing, pale limbs cover the floor, ceiling and walls of the passage, swarming with the creatures the group faced earlier. To the east yet another flayed wraith, the very depiction of stretched and tortured skin, animated in horrific undeath. To the south all that may be seen is a bleeding, hulking mass of matted brown fur with a horned visage.

  55. Tharivol dashes forward, pushing past his comrades, and shoves the lever in place while blasting at the vile apparition before him with a fierce belch of fire.

  57. Aelar focuses his mind and he resummons Ervinth near the other lever and commands them to pull the lever to shut one of the other doors.

  59. Kovgan teleports between the two unwounded cultists and closes the final door. Turning to stab the most overwhelmed cultist, flames arc along his blade and finish off the cultist Tharivol had mortally injured.

  61. Pushing through the walls and closed door like it was nothing, the flayed wraith now occupies some of the room's limited space, previously occupied by one of the cultists. "All must suffer....as I...have suffered..." The wraith rasps out a few words and then unleashes it's signature cry of agony.
  62. A scrabbling and scratching is heard as something desperately tries to find a way through the northern door.
  63. The nearby cultist reaches past the incapacitated kobold, pulling the lever and once more revealing the hulking, horned figure.
  64. He then winds up his flail and sends it smashing into the orc witch with a cry. "You will not escape the Dread Lord!"

  66. Gundz casts 'Create Bonfire' under the Wraith. The creature is slightly damaged.

  68. The hulking mass advances on the open doorway before roaring and puffing into a bloody mist.

  70. Kiryuu flies into a rage and attacks the nearest cultist.

  72. Another of the cultists turns and swings at the orc with it's flail, unfortunately the metal end clangs loudly off of the walls as it sails past the witch harmlessly.

  74. Corus flies into the open hallway and sees three figures.
  75. A Cultist is attacked by a mystery Owl person in the other room with a clone of themselves

  77. Xavier finishes off the cultist and attacks the wraith.

  79. Even dazed, Tharivol fires point blank against the specter.

  81. Aelar moves back to check around the corner, he sees two reavers climbing on the roof and a large create near the alter in the middle of the room now. We got Hostiles behind us.
  82. Aelar fires two shots at one of the reavers before moving back down the hall to the group.

  84. Struggling to focus with the screeching of the Wraith Kovgan manages to stab the cultist with his dagger, rapier hanging limply at his side.Sol(GM) — 02/20/2022
  85. The wraith howls in agony once again and then plunges a claw into the half-nobles chest leaving a bloody gouge.
  86. A flesh reaver scrambles across the ceiling before engaging in a leaping tackle that bears the poor construct to the ground, where it proceeds to use it's teeth and claws to rip scraps of metal from Molly's interior.
  87. Another follows the first, leaping over the mechanical carnage and leaps onto the elf ranger. From it's teeth hangs a trophy gained in the attack, a bloody scrap of flesh torn from the elf.

  91. Terra would reach into her bag, then she'd toss a rope to the other figure, ordering them to tie the paralyzed figure, before curiously moving on to inspect what's going on in the next room. Having heard the screeching wail to draw their curiosity.

  95. Another roar bounces off of the stone walls accompanied by a thunderous crash.
  96. Another of the pale, writhing creatures surges forward, this one scrambles along the wall and lashes out with it's claws as it reaches the elf.

  98. Kiryuu kills the last cultist and attacks the wraith.

  101. Small flecks of debris and dust rain down upon the party as the walls shake vieolently.

  105. Tharivol moves for a better angle, and fires off at the creature crawling up the wall.

  107. Quick disengages from the reavers as Ervinth moves up in his place to try and hold them off, though still somewhat stunned from the wraith.

  109. With the wraith dead Kovgan is able to clear his head. He throws the dagger he'd been using at the creature climbing on the walls and it falls to the floor.

  111. The flesh reaver that killed Molly leaps onto the wall and closes with Aelar's drake companion, it lashes out it's claws rips out it's throat.
  112. A scratching and scrabbling continues from the other side of the northern door.
  113. With a mighty leap yet another of the pallid, grotesque creatures closes with the artificer, it's teeth scraping across the metal of the shield, unable to find any fleshy morsels beneath.
  114. The wounded reaver scrabbles after the fleeing ranger and swipes at him with a bloody claw.

  122. Terra would rather nonchalantly lean in from the doorframe. Lunging with a stab of her dagger- Upon stabbing the beast dead, Terra would rather cheerily tilt her head, turning to look to the morsel that was previously the creature's target, and chime out with a rather chipper, happy tone- "Hello!"

  124. Aelar turns his head as he sees the dagger just pass him, looking at the figure that just killed the Reaver infront of him. "Uhhhh, hi....."

  134. The northwestern wall explodes inwards, showering the conscripts with debris and revealing the bloody, matted fur of the creature and subsequently a massive greataxe the is eager to meet the red mage.

  138. Terra would idly look up at the raven on top of her head. Then she'd reach up and try to poke it right on the chest. "Such a cutie."

  140. Tharivol braces himself, fires two shots that rip through the beast's flesh.

  142. Aims with his bow at the large beat, his first shot hits punching through to hit one of the Reaver's behind them while the second shot hits as well but doesn't punch through as well.

  144. Terra quietly brings her hands up and claps for the archer in front of her. "Oooh- Nice shots!" She'd happily hoot. Acting almost like a cheerleader.

  150. "Oh, that? I think that's a little irrelevant at the current moment, don't you think? Focus, focus! Then we can talk!"

  152. Kovgan , wanting to give as good as he got wanted to heroically stab the monster through the throat or something similar, but was only able to reach the soft flesh behind its knee, flames from his sword engulf the beast, bouncing to the flesh reaver nearby.

  156. A flesh reaver takes advantage of the minotaur's destructive wake and leaps at the half-oni ineffectually. It's slavering jaws catching nothing but air.

  160. The scrabbling on the other side of the door intensifies, quickly followed by the door opening which reveals a confused and now prone flesh reaver.

  162. Terra would let out a happy little hoot. "Here, I can help!" She'd chime out, just before she'd rather mysteriously vanish in a wisp of a mist. Emerging behind the Fleshreavers that scrambled through the massive frame where the Minotaur fell- She'd take to attacking with her daggers and a rather joyous cry.

  166. Two of the remaining flesh reavers attempt to swarm the artificer, who is saved by the witch's magical familiar and his quick reactions with his baton.

  187. Terra would idly bring a hand up to quietly scratch the side of her beak.. Then she'd stretch and yawn. Hearing the words of the other, she'd perk up. "Hmm..? Oh! No problem! That was fun. Do you do that often?" Completely missing the request for a name.
