BACKGROUND :
 ➝ was born in korea, but around the age of 8, her family moved to america because of her father's work. in america, being one of the
   very few asian kids in her neighbourhood and school, she often got bullied for being different. they made fun of her looks, and that
   she was a nerd just because she was studious. she got bullied for many things that most asians would think were normal (looks,
   habits, etc.) after 5 years, she moved back to korea. after moving back, she found that most of the kids thought that everything was
   normal, even envying her looks. suddenly all the other kids were wanting to be her friends, and admiring her appearance, which gave
   her a lot of confidence, and maybe too much confidence. after having to suffer humiliation of her looks and behaviour, then suddenly
   being praised for her looks, she became very confident with her appearance because of the drastic change in her popularity, even
   acknowledging she was gorgeous and being narcissistic about it.

looks, and that she knows that she's popular. who needs a soulmate when you can get with any guy?

 ➝ in one of their classes, namjoon had mistaken her for being confused about the lesson when in fact she had just been daydreaming, and went up to her to ask if she needed help. reacting without thinking, she bluntly says that she doesn't need help from know-it-alls like him and that he shouldn't look down on others just because he's smart.

HOW YOU ACT AROUND HIM :
 ➝ BEGINNING - at first, she is extremely apologetic for saying something so blunt without realising what really meant, and that she was just trying to be nice. she also finds him handsome and admirable, and lets him stick around her to make it up to him, and because she is also curious as to why her looks aren't affecting him like it would be affecting most guys.

➝ MIDDLE - she's afraid he's catching on to her, and finds herself avoiding him. she also starts avoiding him because she notices that she's really start to like him, including his dorky side, and is not sure if she's ready to like someone this deeply. despite that, she wants him to know that he should be comfortable showing his dorky side, and tries to send compliments or happy quotes through notes or text messages to support him.
