>You sit at your desk, a bottle of brandy and an unlit cheap cigar from dollar general at your side.

>You sigh, watching as the clock hits 12 AM, and you hear the fireworks outside begin sounding off like an artillery march
>Hooray for new years
>You pour a shot of what you figure will be the first of many shots of brandy, but as you raise the glass to your lips, it suddenly takes on a blackish glow and frees itself from your hand
>Your mind goes blank for a minute as your heart sinks in fear at what you just witnessed, when you remember... Black aura, floating things...
>You smile and turn around, and there she is.
>With a small smile she kisses your cheek.
