- -A completely renovated equipment, item, ability system based off of Final Fantasy Tactics.
- -"Enhanced Dialog": New Dialog that was either created by me or added in that Square originally cut out. A fine example of this is at the beginning of the game where Kefka puts the Slave Crown on Terra. There's an extra line of dialog that Square cut out with Terra saying, "No get away from me!". Other dialog I made up simply to add a little more detail to the conversation, or just a little humor in a few hidden spots.
- -Location Titles (The text that appears at the top of the screen when you enter an area)
- -Renovated Names of Main Characters and NPCs / FF Tactics Cameos: First of all the character names are featured in lowercase (now in versions 1.5 and higher, the battle text). Secondly, some of the NPCs (Non Player Characters) have been given names of characters from FFT (Arvis=Olan, Draco=Delita, and many others.
- -"Enhanced Battle System": Enemies have been hacked in the area of stats. They do have higher HP and Level. They also have higher evade rates based upon what kind of creature they are (Rats and Humans have really high evade rates, Behemoths and Dragons have high attack power but low Hit Rate and Evade). Enemies also give out double the experience, Magic Points and gil/GP. But the encounter rate for your party is dropped by half.
- -Original Relics: In placement of relics such as "Offering" or the "Gem Box". Brand new relics have been put in, Keep a look out for these near the end of the game, they're named after some of the star characters of FFT.
- -Czar Dragon and Collossus engageable: Think of these as the "Ruby and Emerald Fights of FFVI" they're completely optional but come with a nice bonus. Czar Dragon can be found in the Dinosaur forest near Gau's Father's House in the World of Ruin. Collossus can be found on the continent of the Southeast corner of the W.O.R map, where Thamasa is.
- -Magic spells converted to FFT names (Life 3=Reraise, Pearl=Holy, etc)
- -Other nifty surprises
