- SUGAR COOKIES
- 1 c Sugar
- 1 c pure icing sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c vegetable oil
- 4 1/2 c flour
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 c butter
- 2 eggs
- Beat in mixer the granulated sugar, icing sugar, baking soda, oil, vanilla, cream of tartar, butter and eggs until well blended. Add flour and Mix thoroughly.
- Refrigerate 1 hour. Form into small balls; roll in sugar. Place on uncreased cookie sheet; press with a fork or with a glass dipped in sugar.
- Bake at 375F for about 20 Minutes

- Notes: These are crunchy, not like a cut out cooke. I flatten the cookie with coloured sugar (red or green for Christmas). The dough freezes really well
- and so do the cookies.
