  1. This is easily one of the best incremental that games I've ever played. This is my favorite genre, and it's incredibly difficult to get it right.
  2.
  3. New game elements are introduced at a reasonable pace, which is probably the most difficult thing to get correct, and they alter, not replace, the core gameplay loop.
  4.
  5. The lack of offline progression is a huge bonus, IMO. I really dislike incrementals that rely heavily on time-gating people, both because there's days where I really "just can't even" anymore, and because it helps you get to know the game and general flow better. This is something that I wish more incrementals would understand, and I consider a total lack (or near-irrelevance) of offline progression to be a requirement for engaging gameplay.

  7. I usually play this game when I'm about to sleep, and the default tick rate feels comforting to me as a result. There's a strangely deep (but not incredibly deep) amount of mechanical depth, too, which is just enough to keep me interested, but not overwhelm me while I'm trying to get to sleep.
  8.
  9. I finally beat the game after multiple years of playing it just today. Goodness, I want the expansion so much! I imagine it probably won't happen, considering the total lack of news on the topic, but if you guys need a QA tester or something, hit me up!
