Weeb is arguably bad!

I'm getting myself upset over the definition of "weeb shit"
Culturally, its basically a blanketed term for Japanese stuff, which feels racist/bigoted since,

1) a lot of the actually good Japanese cultural stuff automatically gets a bad rep just because it has a japanese name.
That's like people giving a song shit just because it sounds funny.

2) There's legitimately no difference between liking something from another culture vs liking something from japanese culture, but one of them warrants the stupid ass reaction of "you fuckin' weeb"

I'm glad that listening to one type of music automatically sets ones view from people.
Not like people can like multiple things, no no nothing like that /s

And its like, yeah, weeb doesn't really have much meaning now. But the original usage of it was for people who were ignorant of Japanese culture but still praised it as the best. Like a reverse xenophobe.

 And those people were pieces of shit! especially to other Asian cultures!

And having the pleasure of experiencing them be racist to me, the word weeaboo/weeb leaves a really bad taste in my mouth!

But because people are ignorant, they don't care to differentiate and so hey I guess this dude's a weeb because they listen to one Japanese song out of like 80 other songs from different cultures  /s

Or even when someone's genuinely interesting in learning the language, culture, religion, literally anything that has no relations to anime, there's gonna be someone who calls it all weeb shit.

It feels incredibly dismissal of someone to do this, and it just feels like people don't care enough to be accurate with things.

If I try to tell people I'm interested in Shintoism or the shrines in japan, I'm bound to get at least one weeb comment.

I know I'm being overly sensitive about this dumb shit but I still believe it's an issue to bundle everything about a culture and put it into one basket.
