Story Of The Smiling Man

im not the kind  of person to be scread of things like vampires and slenderman. but there was one that i was afired of.the smiling man. i was scread of him becuase he was in my dream and he killed me in my dream. the night i had that dream i woke up instanly panting i was so frightend of that dream i couldent sleep proply.my mum and dad say its becuase of those true horror storys and creepypasta storys.but i didint belive them.i belived that what was in my dream was real.after that night and the sun came up my mum woke me up for school and insted of watching more horror videos about the horror storys i watched two of my favriote and most funniest youtubers ever lele pons rudy macuso after the horrifiying nightmare i had i thort it would be best to watch somthing that would make me laugh insted of making me feel dark and wanting to watch more horror storys.as the time pastd by i decided to watch some horror story videos witch was probly the worst thing i could do.after watching a few my mum told me to get my bag so she could call a taxi.so i turned off the horror storys and the tv and went to school.after the most crapiest day ever at school i watched more horror storys.as the sun went down and the moon came up one of the videos was the guy in my nightmare the smiling man i was shocked i thort he was all in my head and he was just a made up creepypasta person.i looked the story up and it was the same words as the video.it was just a creepypasta person but to me it felt real and not just a charecter.after that day i recived a call from someone with no caller id it said no number or name all it said was no caller id i ansewrd the call and the caller said  'hello' in the most terryfiying voice ever and after 10 seconds him saying that the call ended.i was terryfied at that moment i was frozen for at least 5 minutes i was so terryfied i ended up telling my friend cj she said it was all fake and asked why it was on my mind i told her but she didint think it was real i read comments online saying its true and i belived them.as the day went by i was texting my friend cora.then i saw somone down in the field thats behing my house.i couldent see who it was because there was branches from trees in the way but what i did see it a big smile and eyes that looked wide.i tried to take a pictrue to prove what i was seeing wasent all my imganation but the phone was being dumb like it always was i had a phone 4s so it was a shitty phone i looked away for 4 seconds and he was gone he wasent even walking out of the field or anything he just vanished.i told my other friend tehya and she said that cant be true im in the field now and no one is in the spot  where your window is.i was confused because it didint sound right it was like he could ran  fast enouth for no one to see him.she asked me what was going on and i told her everything aswell she didint belive me either since i have had a past of pranking her with stuff like that.we stoped texting because she had to go home and her 4g was running out.after about 4 hours it was 10:00 so i had to go to bed.i dont know what time i fell asleep but what i do know is i had another dream with him in it agian. i woke up like i did last time panting like crazy after 2 minutes of panting i relized there was a light outside of my backgarden i was really creeeped out but i looked.i couldent belive what i saw when i looked out that window what i saw was horryfiying  and what had been watching me.the smiling man he had the biggest grin on his face and his eyes was bigger then anything.i  was screaming inside but frozen on the outside to do anything.when i finnally unfroze i ran to my mum and dad screaming and crying saying hes out there hes out there  my mum said whos out where i replied the smiling man hes in our backgarden  my mum and dad came in my room and and looked out the window but nothing was there but what they did see was the light was on the shed door was open and our swing chair was tipped over.they didint belive me still they kept saying it was  nothing you was just tired.i found it hard to go to sleep but i did end up getting to sleep by keeping my light on and my tv on in the background.i woke up in the morning and the news said it was going to be a nice day.i tried to forget about the smiling man and just have a normal day.my friend conner knocked for me hoping i would come out to play.i told him what happend and i dont know if i was coming out he replied with 'come on if anything this will help and it will help'i said 'your right i will get my shoes'.as me and conner played we got bored we diecided to play a diffrent game hide and seek conner had to count and find me.at this point i had no ideas where to hide. i managed to think of a good hiding spot.where i lived there was a short cut to the field pepole called it a ditch for some reason i knew they was just over reacting.i ran to the spot and when down there and waited and waited and waited.it was about 10 minutes later and he still didint find me i started to here leaves cracking and branchs snaping.i just thought it was conner and he had finnally found me i came out of my hiding spot and turned to the direction of the exit and i screamed as loud as a could.it wasent conner who had found me it was the smiling man he for some reason grabed me and pushed me to the ground and wouldent let me get up he looked around and found a sharp stick.he got the stick and tried to kill me with it.he didint get me anywhere it could kill me but he did get my arm bad.i maneged to kick him in the face and run he started to chase me and as i came out of the exit i saw conner i shouted his name in panicing voice.as soon as he heard it he came running towards me i looked back to see that 'the smiling man' had gone.he took me home and my mum and dad called the police.they searched the shortcut he attacked me in.but he wasent found.all that was found was a bloody stick he used to try and kill me.after that terrfiying day conner stayed with me intill i had to go.i got to sleep fine knowing my mum and dad know somthing was wrong they still didint belive my story about him but they knew it was somthing.conner knocked agian and i went out again i was looking around and i saw him. standing at the shortcut he tried to kill me in i told conner to look and he had vanished agian in two seconds.i had the feeling he was watching me and i was right.i went to go get a toy to show conner and the toy was on my windowseal i went to the window and got the toy and  there he was  in the  same spot he was in the field.i saw him at school too i was with my frieinds sara elisha and sophie and we was talking.he was outside the school at the swimming pool entrance i started to freak out. they calmed me down by telling some funny stuff they did and after sara had said one of hers the bell went and they told the theachers.the teachers looked at the cameras they had installed ages ago and there was nothing there but they said i was just tired and i should go to bed when im home. on the way home he was in the road behind a car i didint bother telling my mum she wouldent belive me.one day i saw him and i was all by my own he chased me in the same place he attacked me but i didint stay i ran into the field and he jumped on top of me when i let my gurad down he turned me over looking at me as if he was about to laugh and then my friend tehya had bashed a brick over his head saving my life. she said in the most terrified voice im sorry i didint belive you i replied with no one belived me  we ran to this little shelter thing thats in the field and she called the police and we turned back we was both so sceard he had gone he left nothing but blood from his head on the floor.the police took us to the staion to ask us what happend tehya told them what happend i told them everything.the went to put the report of it in the files and found more files about 'the smiling man'i wasent the only one it had happend to.all the peopele it did happend to died. he had killed them.i was the only one who had survied.they told me hes gone now theres nothing to worry about.i thought to myslef its over its all over.and i hope no one has to experince this.
