You are Joyful and Triumphant, a wizard living in the kingdom of Larion. You
 have a staff and a spellbook. You finish your long journey and finally arrive
 at the ruin you've been looking for. You look around and see that it's not much
 different than when you left it. The only thing is, there's a large hole in
 the ground where the road used to be.
> climb down into the hole and cast an orb of light from my staff

You quickly cast an orb of light from your staff. It illuminates the darkness
 as you walk deeper into the ruins. Suddenly, you hear a voice coming from above
 you.

"Who goes there?"

It's a man with a beard and a long white robe
> say "I am Joyful and Triumphant, high wizard of the thirteenth chorus. I have come here looking for an apple. Have you seen it?"

He nods and says "Yes, but I think it's somewhere else". He points up towards
 the sky.
"Well, I'm going to go find it for you, if you'll follow me".
He smiles and follows you
> cast a spell of flying and ascend into the sky

You fly upwards into the air. The sun is just beginning to set and you can see
 the last remnants of night disappearing into the distance. You feel like you're
 floating on clouds. Suddenly, you hear a voice calling out to you
> say "who is it?"

The voice calls back "Joyful and Triumphant, high wizard of the thirteenth chorus.
 I have come here looking for an apple. Have you seen it?".
> say "I know you, imposter. You may speak my words and claim my voice, but you are merely sound and silence. Begone!"

He laughs and flies away, leaving you alone
> alight upon a cloud with a single tree

You stand upon a cloud with a single tree. A woman stands nearby holding a small
 child. She looks at you and waves her hand.
> approach her

She smiles and approaches you. You hold hands and embrace. You both look into
 each other's eyes and smile. She holds you tightly and kisses you passionately.
 You let her go and kiss her back.
> say "Cassandra, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home?"

She smiles and says "I came here because I wanted to spend time with you".
> dispel the illusion

You laugh and say "Oh no! You've dispelled the illusion! Now I am real!"
> fight me

You strike her across the face with your staff, knocking her to the ground. She
 screams and begs for mercy. You grab her by the hair and pull her head downwards,
 breaking her neck
> pick the golden apple from the tree

You take the apple from the tree and eat it. Your body feels full and you collapse
 onto the grass. You feel very happy. You begin to sing
> summon god with my song

You begin to chant
> chant louder

You shout
> see the face of god

A bright light appears before you and you see a tall, thin figure clad in black
 robes. He stares at you and his mouth opens slightly.
> say "I have eaten your apple. I have slain its guardian. I stand before you without illusion or pride. You know what you must do."

He nods and speaks in a deep voice "Very good, mortal. Go now, and bring joy
 to all those who live in this land. May you never fall prey to the same illusions
 that I once did".
> nod and fall backwards off of the cloud

You fall backwards off of the cloud and land hard on the ground. You lie there,
 staring up at the stars. Suddenly, you realize you don't feel tired anymore.
 You sit up and stretch your legs. You walk over to the tree and look at it
> lay down with cassandra

You lie down with cassandra and watch the stars. You look at her and she looks
 at you. You smile and kiss her. You drift off to sleep
