- Hey i have an idea about controller-to-pc-adapter.
- Just to point out i have ZERO knowledge in hardware design/creation.
- So the idea would be to have a box that you would buy for pretty cheap.
- That said would a single input system but related to no controller in the market please hear me out on that.
- The idea would be to buy parts that you can switch whenever you want to use different controllers.
- Let's say you want to use a SNES controller then BOOM you buy the snes part but still have the same box and you can put that part in and maybe download a driver to let you use it. The box would do the work to recognize what you are using and translate it into Windows Input (direct or x-input w/e).
- Then you are like yeah but i want to play game that need more inputs and you are like "hey i want a gamecube controller on my pc". No need to buy a new adapter you just need to get the Gamecube part of the box and download drivers and boom you are ready to go.
- It could be convenient to actually have the box update itself as soon as a new part has been pluged in.
- And after you could have new parts coming out for new controller (let's say the switch) and the box would update itself and no need to buy a new box.
- That's an idea that would be pretty neat and VERY VERY useful for tournament or event speedrun events like AGDQ/SGDQ.
- I don't care if that idea get stolen it's not the point and i don't really care.
- It might already exist but probably not cheap in anyway and hard to find.
- Well there you have it.
- See you next time o/
