  1. Winter sighed, twirling her sabre in one hand before falling onto her knees, stabbing it down in a move that Weiss had shamelessly copied for herself. A glyph appeared beneath it, spreading out onto the floor as Winter looked up with a confident smirk. The next second she was gone, nothing more than a white blur that seemed to pass the professor with a loud clang of steel. He staggered back, reeling as he looked left and right, only to be kicked in the back as Winter appeared behind him. Before he had even landed she activated another, white writing spreading out as she shot off once more. This time he held his shield behind him, blocking the initial pass with his sword and spinning around.

Only his fast reflexes saved him, but even as he fell back it was clear that Winter had the advantage of speed. Sometimes in a fight, that was all that mattered.
