I run the one hundred fights of each set all the same time, I count the survivors after each battle is finished, this is much faster than doing it one by one, but the problem with this is that most of the time, while I wait for all the battles to finish, most of the time one or several of the survivors will succumb to their wounds after winning their fights, because of this, the numbers of survivors doesn't reach 100 sometimes.

In the first three sets it seems like the unarmed humans don't stand much of a chance against the armed ones, makes sense since hits from weapons are much more lethal than getting punched when you aren't wearing armor. In the next three sets though, the unarmed humans do much better than in the first three ones, especially in set 5 and 6, where the unarmed humans won everytime, I think this shows that unarmed fighting is better than using a short sword in fights where both opponents are fully armored and as long as the short sword isn't of a better material than the armor. I think there's two reasons why unarmed humans did better in these sets, the first one is that punches and kicks are blunt attacks, and blunt attacks are great against armor, and bites are incredibly deadly even against armored opponents, if a creature bites one that is wearing armor, and the bite gets deflected, it can still latch on, which makes it possible for the creature to shake the other around, and shaking can cause massive damage, I would even say that biting is the best "natural" attack against armor. The second reason, is that short swords are simply bad weapons against armor, they're slashing weapons and they get deflected almost every time, they can still cause damage, but something like a hammer or a mace would be better against armor.

Now, in the last three sets, the unarmed humans didn't do as well as in set 4-6, but this makes sense, the unarmed humans fought against humans armed with steel hammer, which are a great weapons against armor, but even then, the unarmed humans did quite well, they kept up with the armed humans, and they even managed to win set 7 and set 9 when they were repeated for the second time, and there was a draw in set 8 when it was repeated for the third time. Looking at the results I think you could say that unarmed fighters aren't as good as the ones using a hammer in fights where both fighters are wearing armor, they might be slightly worse, but they can still keep up with them.
