- I would like to suggest that an upcoming divorce system be put in place, but, instead of it being an instant divorce like so many other MMORPGs, the divorce would be satisfied via a duel, similar to Ishgardian Court Rules. In this duel, the combatants are pit against eachother, 1v1, unsynced, stats fully usable, but PvP actions/traits unusable. Whoever wins the duel, gets to decide the fate of the divorce, the loser cannot re-initiate a divorce duel for 7 days after the duel has failed or succeeded.
- -- All Items are retained by both players.
- -- Items awarded via quest, cannot be re-obtained via salvagers, etc.
- -- Quest Flags are reset upon successful divorce.
- -- All actions added via Marriage are removed (Free teleport, Embrace, etc.)
- If the duel ends in a draw (IE: Time runs out, or both characters die within X seconds of each other) the duty will fail, but the divorce quest will not be re-attempted, forcing the persons involved to get the quest once more. This cannot be done for 7 days.
