  12. The current state of cryptocurrency closely resembles the early days of the internet. Hundreds of projects of all size and scope competing against each other to shape the future of a still unknown potential. The Nano Community Marketing Team (NCMT for short) sees that Nano is currently one of the most promising projects out there. Its ultrafast, feeless, green, borderless, decentralized, and secure nature makes it arguably the single best form of payment not just in cryptocurrency, but the world. We believe that cryptocurrency is an evolution in money that is meant to make money better. We firmly believe that Nano is the only peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that has actually delivered on that promise and vision. The Nano community is one of Nano’s greatest strengths next to its amazing development team. The NCMT believes that we should leverage this organic growth and grass roots community to fuel the awareness and adoption of Nano worldwide.

  16. The vision of the NCMT was first birthed after the London Community Meetup in early June of 2019. After this event there was a lot of confusion as to a clear future vision and direction for Nano. Word from the development team was that they would begin focusing on adoption in third world/developing countries, as well as some added talk relating to using Nano for inter-bank transfers and forex market transactions. This created an initial divide within the community as some disagreed with this vision and wanted the Nano team to focus more on first world adoption. While some saw this as a problem, we saw it as a strength. The fact that Nano has such a diverse community, and such a wide array of use cases, is something to be celebrated and marveled at. Instead of people disagreeing over the singular direction of Nano, we believe that we should leverage Nano’s technological advancements to strive for furthered awareness and adoption for every use case that suits Nano’s many strengths. We believe that the core fundamental to Nano’s long-term success will be numerous successful marketing campaigns that will serve as full compliments to all of the technical advancements made by the core development team.

  18. III. Solutions

The NCMT creates a democratic and community-oriented solution to bolster the under-utilized prospect of maximizing Nano’s position as an ultrafast, feeless, green, borderless, decentralized, and secure form of money to drive adoption in first world, developed and speculative markets. We believe that Nano will need the support of first world and speculative investors to truly create long lasting and meaningful adoption. We currently operate on Discord and Twitter and have dozens of active, contributing members. The goal is to be as connected to the community as possible through as many facets as possible while still maintaining a centralized community effort that is easy to build on top of. We use these channels as an open community forum for discussing different marketing ideas, strategies, and implementations. The purpose of this project is to give the Nano community an outlet for expressing different desires for marketing methods in a way that can actually be followed up on and executed through a focused community effort. The opportunities for the community to express unique and ingenious marketing methods is one of the greatest strengths of this project.

  22. IV. Implementation

  24. Our current community effort is focusing on two target audiences. The first is members of the larger crypto community who are uninformed or misinformed about Nano. The second is new entrants to the crypto market who are looking to invest in projects that are still on the ground floor. Our current task is compiling and distributing information regarding the green attributes of Nano. We are in the process of contacting news outlets and environmental activists to spread information pertaining to how Nano solves the environmental concerns of not just other cryptocurrencies, but of traditional currencies as well. We are currently collaborating with Nanillionaire to produce short, quality videos that explain quickly and simply the benefits of using Nano. We are looking to expand the capability of our efforts by raising funds on the Nano Center. Due to the numerous and expansive projects that we are and will be undertaking, we believe that all proceeds should go into the NCMT General Fund (NCMT-GF). This fund will be held in the custody of the Nano Center and funds will be released when and in the amount of agreed to by representatives of the Nano Center and the Nano Community Marketing Team. 100% of the funds in the NCMT-GF will be allocated towards marketing projects that are undertaken by the official full-time members of the NCMT. Due to our projects constantly evolving, we will continue to update the page on TNC with concise and detailed information regarding current and upcoming projects with detailed allocation of funds. We maintain a full-time official team that consists of talented and dedicated specialists in business, marketing, and production who use their skills to implement these community projects with the highest regard to professionalism and quality. In addition to maintaining constant lines of communication with the Nano Center, we also will have the ear of Andy Johnson of the Nano Foundation to assure that our products are consistent with upholding the Nano brand.

  26. V. Usage of Funds

  28. At present we have two projects that require funding. The first project is an outreach campaign where we are contacting green activists and freelance tech journalists who express concerns over the large carbon footprint that cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin leave behind. We will be using funds to provide tips through Twitter so that these persons may experiment with the cryptocurrency themselves. If we are able to properly capture many of these persons, then they will express to their followings and express in their work the superiority of the Nano cryptocurrency. This is particularly effective as both climate change and the emerging crypto market are both very popular contemporary topics. We believe that focusing our efforts simply on this intersection of concerns/interests is one of the most effective marketing campaigns possible in the current climate.

  30. The second project that requires funding is in partial collaboration with Nanillionaire. Both of us believe that when it comes to capturing new members of the crypto community that we must quickly and succinctly explain the long list of benefits of Nano in a way that makes sense to people new to the space and that make a compelling argument for the use case of Nano. We are currently working with TriggerHaven, a notable voice actor in the community, to create a script lasting approximately one and a half minutes. As of writing we are still searching for a video editor to create a video of the highest professional quality. We understand that if we are to truly create quality content that we will need to compensate professional content creators. The possibilities for distribution of such a video are numerous. The current plan is to attach this video to Nanillionaire’s giveaway tweets so that the people entering are learning about Nano instead of just hoping for a large payout. We believe that this will highly increase the effectiveness of such marketing campaigns. Due to the professional quality of the final product, we also would like to explore using the video as an ad on YouTube and other social media platforms. However, the scope of this project will truly depend upon the amount of donations received. We want to always have our projects set up in stages so that no project is made or broken due to funds. Increased funds will only increase the effectiveness of our products. However, we are hopeful for the community to turnout after the amazing support that we have received throughout our startup process
