  1. Here I'll stream World Record attempts of video games I run, primary the Pokemon and Sonic series, and also races done on speedrunslive. If you want to get in on speed running too, I highly suggest joining SpeedRunsLive where everyone can race anything video game related!

  10. Note: These times refer to the in-game timer, and as such are different to any real timer used, such as splits, during runs that I stream.

  22. Q: What time do you usually stream?
  23. A: I generally stream at around 10 or 11pm, but if for some reason I'm not around then or do a short session, I might stream again when I wake up, usually around 10am. However, as I am in Australia, this may not be the same time as you. My time zone is currently GMT +10 (AEST) if you would like to do the conversion :)

  26. A: The times on the side are of the current World Record.

  28. Q: What World Records do you hold?
  29. A: I currently hold the World Record for Pokemon Red/Blue, Yellow, Gold/Silver, Crystal, and Fire Red/Leaf Green.

  31. Q: Why don't you run newer pokemon games like Heart Gold or Black 2?
  32. A: Thanks for some very generous donations, I have ordered capture software for the DS. It's due to arrive in mid-late October, so expect some runs around then, as I've already started to route Heart Gold :)

  34. Q: Can you run <pokemon game>?
  35. A: I plan on running every main series Pokemon game, along with a few spinoffs as well, such as Mystery Dungeon and Stadium. However speedruns take time and dedication, I will move onto the next game once I finish the one I'm currently working on, I can't just swap between games at will. Be patient, I'll more than likely run the game you want me to.

  44. A: Don't be obnoxious. There isn't heavy moderation, just chill out and have a good time and realise everyone else wants to chill too~ Also don't talk about Torkoal.

  47. A: Generally speaking everyone else in the call is American, and I'm Australian, so It should be pretty easy to pick out which one is me.

  50. A: I am not mad at you! 99% of the time somehow my voice gets interpreted incorrectly, I apologise.

  53. A: My gameboy has this awful trait that it likes to turn itself off, so that time lapse was probably me turning it back on.

  68. A: My Favourite sonic game is Sonic 3 & Knuckles. My favourite 3D Sonic game is Sonic Heroes.

  73. Q: What are you playing on, it is emulator?
  74. A: No, I play on a Gamecube through a Gameboy Player using a Gameboy SP as a controller.

  76. Q: Why do you choose Totodile?
  77. A: Because the Totodile evolution family is the best for the speedrun, without it, my time would not be nearly as fast.

  79. Q: Do you really need to use Totodile specifically, couldn't you use some other Pokemon?
  80. A: Yes. Yes I do. Otherwise I will not challenge my World Record.

  82. Q: Why did you keep reseting after getting Totodile?
  83. A: If it looks like there is no reason, it's generally because my stats were bad. I need to have great DVs in attack and special stats otherwise I can not complete the run fast enough

  85. Q: What stats are good and what stats are bad?
  86. A: I check my stats as soon as I can, because it takes to long to wait until I level up. At level 5 I will reset unless my attack is 12 or 13 and my special defense is 11.

  88. Q: You didn't even get to his stats, why did you reset?
  89. A: Totodile was a female, so it's attack DV was 0 or 1, aka the worst.

  91. Q: About what are the chances of getting a Totodile with stats you will keep?
  92. A: I will keep about 1 in 6 Totodiles.

  94. Q: Why do you set the time for approximately 3:45am?
  95. A: To catch Poliwag when he appears at night, and Sandshrew when he appears during the day.

  97. Q: What is Poliwag/Sandshrew/Bellsprout for?
  98. A: They are HM slaves, Poliwag gets Waterfall and Whirlpool, Sandshrew gets Cut and Strength. If I get a Bellsprout, it gets Cut and the free Shuckle gets Strength

  100. Q: What is the current World Record?
  101. A: The Current World Record is 3 hours 34 minutes real time, but 3 hours 28 game time. My aim is 3 hours 27 minutes game time.

  112. Q: Why do you name yourself and Totodile 'I'?
  113. A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes, and the letter 'I' gives a nice spin as if the game was self-narrating

  115. Q: Are there glitches in this run?
  116. A: There are glitches in the game, yes. However this is a glitchless run, I will not use any glitches. If you want to see a glitched run, check out AGDQ on Jan 6-12 2013, as I'll be running Pokemon Gold glitched on the last day :)

  119. A: There are several trainers in this game that spin like crazy. It's either because one caught me, or one didn't >_>

  122. A: Yes, there is luck involved. Yes, I am still running it. I love pokemon and will run it regardless :)

  126. DV: Stands for Determinant Value, and refers to a random number between 0-15 selected for each stat for any pokemon in Generation 1 and 2. These affect the actual stats of a pokemon by 1 at level 50. So for example, if you have a DV of 14 and your stat is 106 at level 50, if your DV is 2 your stat would be 94.

  128. IV: Stands for Individual Value, and refers to a random number between 0-31 selected for each stat for any pokemon in Generation 3 and 5. These affect the actual stats of a pokemon by 1 at level 100. So for example, if you have a IV of 26 and your stat is 277 at level 100, if your IV is 15 your stat would be 266.

  130. Spinner / Rotato: These refer to trainers that spin around. More specifically aimed at the trainers that spin around randomly, as the trainers that just spin in a circle can be dodge quite easily.
