Eva was raised primarily by her mother, but inevitably adopted mannerisms from her father's dominating personality as well. Garrett and Madelyn had a unique arrangement: Gerard Gryffindor was not an option for Madelyn to use for a donor again, so Garrett would donate in his place, and would have access to his daughter as and when he pleased. Why Garrett agreed at all (considering the poor history between him and Madelyn) is anyone's guess. But Garrett and Madelyn both have affiliated with colourful characters that have all had influence on Eva growing up.

Eva enjoys socialisation with her peers as much as the next child, but in moderation -- she is highly introverted, and often needs time to herself for self-care and self-improvement, lest she be overwhelmed. As a result, Eva only has a very small inner circle of two or three people -- but to these few people she is as loyal as they come and their companionship is fiercely important to her.

When she is not enjoying a tranquil environment - such as the library in Godric's Hollow, of which she is a big fan - Eva dearly loves to laugh, and thus surrounds herself with those she finds funny. However, she has a short temper and is not adverse to laughter at other's expense, or saying things she thinks are maliciously humorous, but in reality are just hurtful. On the other side of the coin Eva can be mischevious and a prankster.

Both of Eva's parents - and indeed, others she is surrounded by like her adoptive sister Linnea - have made perhaps misguided choices in the past that may or may not be recognised as such, and as such it comes as no surprise that Eva's own moral compass is clouded. Only the truly picky would point out that Eva stands slightly beneath the average height for her age, and as a pre-pubescent young girl she has no figure to speak of. She is simply perfectly average in proportion, and she prefers a comfortable, casual dress sense.

A full head of thick strawberry-blonde hair comes down to Eva's shoulder blades, closer in colour to her father's but similar in thickness and texture to her mother's. Eva's hair is stubborn and difficult to brush, with an almost frizzy texture that makes it hard to style and is prone to knots. Even when Madelyn tries her best to tie it back in a french braid, it maintains its difficulty to manage by falling loose. As such, Eva often wears an old, slightly worn cap, or a wooly hat when it's cold.

Eva's facial structure is wide and heart-shaped, with a prominent jawline and a pointed chin, wide forehead and high cheekbones that balance out it's structure. Her skin is creamy and warm, and though distant veela genes have given her a general sense of appeal to her features, there is very little about her appearance that could be called remarkable. Her skin is prone to freckling in the sun and can sometimes be dry.

Almond-shaped eyes of a deep chocolate brown sit beneath bushy eyebrows a slightly darker shade than her hair, lined with dark but uncurled eyelashes. Her nose is long and minute, it's tip button-like, and is probably her most graceful feature.
