  1. [22:53] Katzan certainly stares at Butcha. His ever present neutral pokerface simply continue upon the woman, until she finally gave the child onto Joanne's arms.
  2.
  3. Eyes focused on the small baby, and like that... Hands rose forward, reaching for the small child. "Come. Let me show her something."
  4. (Katzan Xizoh)

  6.
  7. [22:53] Carol Thomasfire says, ". . ."
  8. [22:56] There was a pause as Joanne glanced to the side, red eyes briefly staring at a Ryuujin Drakanite. That, was a rare sight. She decided to ignore the bystander and hand over the light blue-haired, quite awake but pleasantly quiet red-eyed child gently.
  9.
  10. "I... hadn't come up with a name for her yet."
  11. (Joanne Stiller)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [23:01] Katzan looked towards the kid on his arms, thumb gently reaching in as to rub her cheek gently. He analyzed the female baby with all her surprising similarity to him, before looking towards Joanne.
  15.
  16. "We'll sort out a name soon enough." He said, before marching into town with the baby being carried.
  17. (Katzan Xizoh)

  19.
  20. [23:01] {Item} You picked up Anti-Magic Restraint..
  21. [23:03] Carol flapped their wings on over, flying past the duo with a blank look off to the side.
  22. (Carol Thomasfire)
  23. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  24.
  25. [23:03] Joanne quickly followed in line behind Katzan, aiming to try and keep the pace he set. She didn't say much yet, merely watching the interaction so far.
  26. (Joanne Stiller)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [23:04] Carol Thomasfire says, "..."
  30. [23:07] Katzan slowly reaches into the temple, carrying the child on his arms. The same posture of always is present, rigid stares directed towards most who walk by him, a hand daftly put onto her belly as to keep her still while her back was supported by his forearm.
  31.
  32. And then, he finally reaches for the throne. He sits upon it, and slowly... Spreads his legs, putting the baby between them, her own bum resting now against the cold, slightly bloodstained throne.
  33.
  34. A smirk appears across his face. "Now, she's getting used to her place already." And slowly, he removes his arms from around her, letting the kid balance herself or fall on him.
  35. (Katzan Xizoh)

  39. {LOAD GAME}
  40.
  41. [23:19] Joanne smiled and for once, she wasn't faking, it wasn't sad, it wasn't even forced. Maybe she was really wrong to hide their child from him. Maybe her paranoia was just all that. But, for once in many years, she felt happy, as though this day wasn't going to bring something terrible, that there wasn't some omen waiting for her around the corner.
  42.
  43. The issue would be telling Eiphraem.
  44. (Joanne Stiller)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [23:23] The kid fell on his lap, hands slowly taking the girl's head. He looked down on her, the same poker face as always present upon him... Before he frowned his lips from one side to the other, yellow irises staring onto red ones.
  48.
  49. "I'll name you..." He thought, perhaps not even caring for Joanne's opinion. After all, he wouldn't let her put a Valmasian name on his child, would he?
  50.
  51. "Ezchi... Laztya... Hmm..." He muttered, still looking straight onto her, looking for any sort of reaction from the baby.
  52. (Katzan Xizoh)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [23:32] The child's mother seemed to her partner a look. The kind of look that would say something like she was about to say herself, "You know you COULD ask me for input." Joanne quipped, but she wasn't exactly wholly against him choosing, if only because others would be swayed by her decision to let him decide.
  56. (Joanne Stiller)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [23:40] "Laztya?" He looked at the baby as apparently she had some sort of good reaction, a soft laughter being given. Slowly, he reached in to tickle her slowly, still keeping her between his legs.
  60.
  61. "Hah! Laztya Xizoh it is, then." He said, before looking up towards Joanne. He picked up the baby again, slouching on the throne and letting her rest on top of him.
  62.
  63. "You know... I can't wait until she challenges me to see if she can take it from me." He let out a soft giggle, before holding her in front of his head, back to his former position.
  64.
  65. "You'll be wonderful, little child. You've inherited the blood of the Xizoh. You'll feel power coursing through your veins soon."
  66. (Katzan Xizoh)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [23:49] Joanne sighed lightly. He didn't even acknowledge that request at all. She glanced downwards, then looked up at Katzan, approaching the throne closer to lean in close with the child. "And, much like your mother, you'll be able to figure out how to patch your father up, if he ever needed it, or spike his drinks if he's been mean."
  70.
  71. Oh, yes, she was going to make that implication to her child right in front of Katzan. "He won't be mean, though. Right?" Joanne's red eyes flicked up at him. There was a moment, maybe, that he'd be able to see the possible lengths she'd go to in defense of the child, in her eyes, but only for a few short seconds.
