Vernestra took only the barest listen to the chirps and calls before using the Force along with the interlocking and crisscrossing branches to run through the canopy toward the sound of shouts and whistles.

She burst into a clearing, the tree-branch walkway giving way suddenly to nothing but empty air. She was running too fast to stop her forward momentum, so instead she tucked into a midair flip, landing softly.
