Idea for Adri -- Ignis' farewell

*As the battle inside Audrey's mindescape reached it's conclusion. Audrey stod proudly as he shadow was casted upon her nightmerish creation. The chains of dreams created by her pinned him to the floor, inmovile as their magic somehow transformed him into his humanoid form, much mroe wreched and wounded than his true beastly self seemed to show. *

*Audrey just glanced at the man in some sense of the word, kneeled before her. His gaze filled with rage, like pits full of sulfur ready to burst, didn't seem to face her in the slightest. As a door of light opened behind her, Ignis just responded with his eyes widening and a growl.*

-Ignis: So is that it. You're just going to leave me here to rot? That's what you're doing!? I should have known...just letting the maggots consume my flesh and soul as you just turn you head and walk away like the scared worm that you are...you're just running!! RUNNING!! That's what you always run!! So go ahead, make your choice...come back and face the reality or just leave and prove me what I always knew you were: A broken doll!! DO IT!! I COMMAND YOU!!

-Audrey: I'm no running... *halting, not even bothering to face back at Ignis.*

-Ignis: *geniuly confused* What?...

-Audrey: I no longer see the point of continuing this. It's over, Ignis. I do't need you. I don't need your solace, or your cold lies, or the fake reassurance of being a shield. No...I can move on, and find my own solace, my own protection...my own life. And you? Heh, it's kind of ironic, isn't it? You are now there, chained by your own insecurities-

-Ignis: Nonsense!! You're just trying to lie to yourself...I know you're nothing without me! Why can't you accept it?! You don't know nothing!!

-Audrey: ...To be honest, I kind of pity you. Not for what you've done. No. I could never feel sorry for the lives you ruined, incluying mine...I just feel pity for what you /are/. No matter how much you escaped from her power...or how close you reached to Godhood. In the end, you were never able to stop looking for me. You needed me mroe than I ever needed you, because the truth it, you never managed to break your ties. And now, you're meeting with what all ilusions face once we reach resolve. They end...

*As Audrey speaks, Ignis' faces starts to fade. Piece by piece, his body starts to turn into the fog he was made from, disippating into nothingness. The once Nightmare Master was now freaking out, struggling forcefully against his binds, unable to face with his upcoming demise...*

-Audrey: Funny how you always knew what I felt. Like a dep connection. and you're right. In fact, I can still feel it right back to you...but things have changed, and now you're the one scared...trapped in your own ilusion-

-Ignis: *Not wanting to hear anymore. Shouting furiously at the top of his lungs.* SILENCE!! You DARE to tell me how I feel?! You think that you are able to read ME!? You're a fool!! Nothing but a goddamn fool!!!...I'm your reflection, your shadow...you cannot even TRY to think you can just sever me from your existance!!

-Audrey: I told you, I'm not. I'm moving /past/ you. Whatever happens after is on your own. Farewell, Ignis... *Walks towards the light*

-Ignis: *his face halfway erased as she walks away* Come back here!! This is not finished!! DON'T TURN YOUR BACK AWAY FROM ME!! YOU'RE THE ONE BONDED BY ME!! THE FREEDOM WILL HURT YOU!!...I-I'M ALL YOU GOT!! YOU ARE NOTHING WITHOUT ME, YOU HEARD ME!?! NOTHING!!! TURN BACK!!!

*Audrey did not turn back, her body no longer visible once the light enveloped her. Ignis continued to scream to the skys. Continuing to drown himself in his own delusions as the last bits of his self begean to drift into the fog. In the end there he was: broken; pray of his own faults...alone and in need. The same nightmare he once casted upon her...in his last moments...he was now living it!*
