>Actually, Scummy Gap Student was a discarded idea that I had presented at the same time as "Mahou Shoujo wa Sou Janai!". [TN: lit. "This Isn't What Magical Girls Are Supposed To Be Like!" Ran for 32 chapters between 2020-2021 and bundled into two digital volumes.] At the time I drew the storyboards, I packed it with my lustful desire of "I wanna call a delivery health service~". It was rejected lol.

>After Mahou Shoujo's short run ended, I was all "let's start a new serialization~!" when I ended up getting a change in editor. This new editor told me "that rejected idea about the scummy gap student and the delivery health girl was funny" and brought it back. (I had completely forgotten it existed lol)

>I brushed it up with my editor, got it serialized, and here we are now. I'm truly grateful to my editor~ (Incidentally, this editor is a yuri-loving woman who's young and cute and has a cute voice and is kind and cute.) (I love her...)
