  1. A high risk warrent takedown in the context of a traffic stop means that you've stopped a suspect, ran his/hers information and found out that they have a warrant that is quite serious. Examples are "Wanted for (1)11. Capital Murder, "Wanted for (1)10. Murder" or "Wanted for (1)13. Kidnapping". A high risk takendown can also include suspects that are likely to evade police if they are known by the police for example. While on a traffic stop with someone that's high risk, it's important to always have additional in case things go south. Usually you would have atleast 1 officer with a long-gun ready to engage.
