  1. There’s no denying it, social media competitions are a sure way to garner engagement with your audience. For this years World Cup Tournament, Qatar Airways gave customers a chance to win business class flights to anywhere in the world. In link with the launch of their new direct flight to St.Petersburg, Russia, the airline hosted a global World Cup social media competition in which fans had to predict the four teams in each of the eight groups. The final draw saw millions of fans flock to the website, checking the results to see if their predictions were correct.
