  1. >“Servant! My quarters! In five minutes!”
  2. >You snapped to attention with a salute before getting ready to put away your tools
  3. “You’re in trouble noooow” one of the other servants said mockingly at you
  4. >You quipped an eyebrow
  5. >“The prince only calls people to his room for punishment”
  6. >[loud sweating]
  7. >What did you do wrong?
  8. >Did you not clean the floors well enough? Did you not chop enough firewood for the winter?
  9. >You were going to find out
  10. >At the specified 5 minutes, you stood in front of the large red doors to the Prince’s room
  11. >Taking a deep breath, you knocked on the door
  12. >“Enter!”
  13. >You dutifully stepped inside
  14. >“Close the door! Make sure it’s locked!”
  15. >Clovis was pacing back and forth in front of the fireplace, his hands were shaking
  16. >The moment the lock clicked, he suddenly turned and was right in your face
  17. >“Can you keep a secret? Can you!?”
  18. >An intense anger was in his eyes
  19. >Or was it frustration?
  20. >Regardless, all you could do was nod spastically
  21. >“Good, because if you tell a soul what you’re about to see I will castrate and cauterize your balls off at the same time!”
  22. >As he walked away, you could have sworn you caught a whiff of something...pungent
  23. >He started looking around for a moment, scratching the side of his head, as if he was debating backing out of whatever he was about to do. He was panting hard
  24. >“I need…I need…”
  25. >And out of the blue, with a frustrated cry, he tore at the bandages at his chest
  26. >FWUMP
  27. >You blinked for a moment
  28. >What you had assumed to be a flat chest now had two creamy colored orbs on it
  29. >Your boss
  30. >Prince Clovis
  31. >Was actually a Princess
  32. >You caught the smell again, more clearly this time
  33. >Your eyes widened, you knew that smell
  34. >She was in-
  35. >“I. Need. You.”
  36. >With a surprising amount of strength, Clovis grabbed you, spun you around before shoving you into the bed
  37. >She pinned you down on the bed and started to tear your linen pants open
  38. >She stopped to stare at your equipment with a mix of fascination and disgust
  39. >With an untrained hand, she reached down and grasped your jewels
  40. >She was trying to coax it out to the best of her ability
  41. >her attempts at massaging felt more like squeezing a stress ball
  42. >at the same time she seemed to be having an identity crisis
  43. >“Tell me…I’m the Prin-…”
  44. >she got quiet for a second
  45. “Prince?” you said trying to guess her next line
  46. >”Of Coins” she said blankly
  47. “Uhh-”
  48. “SAY IT!” she spat as she suddenly put a death grip on your testicles
  49. “You’re the Prince of Coins! You’re the Prince of Coins!”
  50. >“Tell me I’m in charge! Tell me…”
  51. >She suddenly stopped her ministrations on you
  52. >Wait, was she sobbing?
  53. >You looked down over your chest
  54. >Clovis was on the corner of the bed facing away from you, paws over her face
  55. >Carefully, you scooted over beside her and tentatively patted her on the back
  56. >“I…I don’t know who I am anymore”
  57. >You looked around for a moment
  58. >You knew you had to choose your words carefully
  59. >Here goes nothing
  60. “I’m still here to serve my prince”
  61. >She just looked at you
  62. >she wasn’t screaming so that was a good sign, maybe
  63. >“Just…help me”
  64. >She placed a paw on your cheek
  65. >“Help me make this agony go away”
  66. >You pulled her close, wrapping your arms around her into an embrace
  67. >“We’ll go slowly”
  68. >With an uncertain nod, she carefully positioned on top of your lap with her legs going behind you and your arms holding her up as you sat on the edge of the bed
  69. >The bombardment of stimulants and pheromones had your sword now standing full at attention
  70. >True to your word, you slowly lowered her over the pulsating rod
  71. >Her breathing was picking up
  72. >Lower
  73. >Her breath suddenly hitched as the tip entered her
  74. >Her whole body went stiff
  75. >Her legs wrapped around your back
  76. >Her claws digging into your fur
  77. >No turning back now
  78. >Gradually, you guided her all the way down
  79. >There was a stillness for a moment
  80. >”More”
  81. “What?”
  82. >”More! Whatever this sensation is! More of it!”
  83. >Serve your prince, Anon
  84. “Alright”
  85. >The only thing you could think to do was get a rhythm going
  86. >lifting her back up, you let her back down without completely taking her off your gear
  87. >her breathing was back
  88. >and it was fast
  89. >slowly you built up momentum
  90. >this went on for a few seconds
  91. >and then she screamed
  92. >and ungodly sound right in your ears
  93. >you thought you did something wrong
  94. >but her next words suggested otherwise
  95. >”MORE!”
  96. >She suddenly planted her feet and lifted herself off the bed
  97. >and promptly slammed back down on your junk
  98. >Now you had to keep up with HER lest your risk your balls being pulverized
  99. >you started thrusting your hips in conjunction with her slams
  100. >she started to let go of your back as her arms slumped back
  101. > Her panting and pose made her look like she was trying to hold back a sneeze
  102. >she was getting close, you could feel it
  103. >and so were you
  104. >you let less escape her folds as you hit the right resonate gyrations with hers as your orgasm built up
  105. >And with one final unholy wail, her entire body spazzed out
  106. >you locked into her as you fired your load into her
  107. >and then, as quickly as it came, it ended as she slumped over your shoulder
  108. >still holding her, you leaned yourself and her onto the bed proper
  109. >still connected, you brushed a few of her bangs out of the way
  110. >she looked you in the eyes with her tired ones
  111. >”Thank you”
  112. “Here to serve”
  113. >”Your prince?”
  114. >You chuckled despite yourself
  115. “Yeah, my prince”
  116. >A few months passed
  117. >Life more or less returned to normal
  118. >Most of the other servants assumed as the noise was from you as Clovis punished you
  119. >you didn’t correct them
  120. >Clovis still kept to his private chambers most of the time
  121. >You did your usual round of chores
  122. >And then one da-
  123. >”Anon! My room! Now!”
  124. >You wanted to think this was another secret rendezvous, but there was no hint of coyness in this order
  125. >you entered the room
  126. >Clovis was once standing at the fire but she wasn’t pacing this time
  127. >she did however have her scarlet robe wrapped tightly around herself
  128. >The moment you closed the door, she looked at your with a keen bitterness
  129. “Is something wrong?”
  130. >In an abrupt motion, she threw her robe back, exposing her entirety to you
  131. >”Explain this!”
  132. >You squinted and looked up and down her body
  133. >besides being stark naked, nothing seemed to-
  134. >hold on
  135. >was she getting fat?
  136. >what used to be a flat abdomen, was sticking out slightly
  137. >but it wasn’t flabby, it was a perfectly rounded
  138. >wait
  139. “Uh oh”
  140. ____
  141. >She sparked a fireball in her hand
  142. >”Uh oh is right”
  143. >she suddenly had you by the tuft of your chest fluff
  144. >”You ruined my life! My plans! Everything!”
  145. >she had the fire ball close enough you were sure your nose was going to get scorched
  146. >”I…I…oh, not again!”
  147. >the fire ball suddenly extinguished and she slumped to her knees on the floor sobbing
  148. >you looked down in a stupor
  149. >part of you wanted to bail out the door and run for the hills before the moodswing went away
  150. >but the other side said to stay close
  151. >you carefully squatted down beside her gave her another pat
  152. >”Everything’s falling apart and I don’t know what to do!”
  153. “Let’s start small, your plans. What was it you needed to do next?
  154. >she sniffled before looking up to ponder the question
  155. >”I have to meet with elder council, the guild needs resources”
  156. “So what’s the problem?”
  157. >”You buffoon! They can’t like…like this!”
  158. >she said gesturing to her swollen midsection
  159. >“Binding my chest is one thing, but this…”
  160. >she paused but shook her head
  161. >”No, the risks are too high. It can’t be done safely”
  162. “When was this meeting to take place?”
  163. >”A month’s time”
  164. >she gave the top of her stomach a poke
  165. >“I’d be huge by then”
  166. “What if we pushed the meeting to a week from now? Get it out of the way while you’re still not fully showing”
  167. >Clovis just sighed before standing back up and with her robe in hand
  168. >”Because, even if we went now. It’d still noticeable”
  169. >she did her arms out as she finished wrapping her robe around herself and tightening the belt
  170. >true to her word, you could still spot the rounded protrusion through the scarlet cloth
  171. “You could still pass as being, well, big
  172. >her eyebrows furrowed
  173. >”Are you calling me fat?”
  174. “No, but for the sake of not being found out, it might be best to pretend like that’s the case”
  175. >she looked like she was torn between pouting, or shouting
  176. >she finally deflated with a sigh
  177. >”Fine, I’ll have the courier send word to push the meeting ahead of schedule
  178. >she poked you with a pink-nail claw
  179. >”But I want you at my side”
  180. >Gave a slight bow
  181. “Of course”
  182. >”Don’t misunderstand. I’m still mad about this. I just…I need someone I can trust in case something goes wrong.”
  183. >You merely nodded
  184. >A week later, you and your boss were standing outside the stone longhouse
  185. >Clovis pulled back her hood and adjusted her hair
  186. >”How do I look?”
  187. >You gave her a once over
  188. >While her chest was fully concealed, her belly made its presence known in the curve of the robe’s fabric
  189. “Like you’re ready to do some diplomacy”
  190. >”Right…”
  191. >she seemed to stare down at the road
  192. “Ready?”
  193. >she sighed and looked back up
  194. >”No, but here we go anyway”
  195. >she cleared her throat, straightened up her posture, marched straight for the double doors, and with as much flair as possible pushed the double doors open.
  196. >”Gentlemen! Glad you could make it!” he said with the confidence of a politician
  197. >the main hall had a long table running down the middle of the room
  198. >sitting at the various chairs were the wolfen elders from across the territories’ villages
  199. >some aged, some downright ancient, some whole, others war-scarred.
  200. >One unifying feature; their shared expression of distaste when the two of your entered the room
  201. >”Ah yes, Clovis” the eldest with glasses spoke “glad you could arrive so…fashionably late”.
  202. >”You’d best have a good reason for calling us all here today” a particularly large and scarred wolf with dark fur barked.
  203. >”Yes, my apologies for summoning you all here on such short notice” he said dismissively as he sat at the chair at the far end of the table.
  204. >”But unforeseen events have made it necessary to push my plans ahead of schedule.”
  205. >”That still doesn’t explain anything” one spoke up
  206. >Clovis sighed
  207. >”Let’s not sugar coat things, we’re on the brink of war. The Templar are preparing to play their hand and negotiations with the Tigers have all but collapsed. We need troops if we are to survive. And I have the means to provide them. The plan is set, the pawns in place. It’s only a matter of waiting now.”
  208. >”So what exactly do you need from us?” the elder with glasses finally asked
  209. >Clovis leaned forward and interlocked his paws
  210. >”Mana-Crystals”
  211. >there was a long pause before someone in the back finally spoke up
  212. >”what?”
  213. >”My agents will need Mana-Crystals in order to accomplish this task”
  214. >”Then why don’t you just bug some merchant at Karne for the bloody stones?”
  215. >”Because I don’t want some cracked discount crystal that’s going to break the moment magic so much as touches it. I need whole, pristine crystals that will hold a charge for a year if not more”
  216. >”That’s absurd! An elder spoke standing up
  217. >”How do you expect us to get these crystals!?”
  218. >”Well, you can either try your luck digging them out of the ground. Or, you can go door to door looking for heirloom to “borrow” from the peasants
  219. >”We aren’t your slaves!” the scarred elder spat as he stood up pointing.
  220. >”We don’t owe anything to this fattened pup!” he yelled
  221. >You held your breath for the incoming storm.
  222. >but it didn’t come, Clovis merely raised an eyebrow and smiled.
  223. >”Is that right?”
  224. >He slowly stood from his chair and looked over the audience before pointing at a seemingly random wolf.
  225. >”Xavier, for the longest time you couldn’t grow a crop to save your life. To feed the village, let alone your family. Isn’t that right”
  226. >The pale wolf didn’t answer, instead merely nodding
  227. >”Yes, and then you came to me, and my mages enchanted the soil for you. How are your crops now?”
  228. >”….we had another bumper crop this harvest”
  229. >”Yesss” Clovis smirked
  230. >He then turned his attention to another wolf
  231. >”And you, Haden. Your village’s well ran dry and you feared losing your position as chief to angry peasants. So what did you do?”
  232. >”I…I came to you”
  233. >”Yes, you came to me, and my dowsers found you a new source of ground water for your village. Were you overthrown?”
  234. >”No”
  235. >”Is your village prospering?”
  236. >…Yes”
  237. >Clovis finally turned his attention to the scared wolf that sparked this discussion
  238. >”And you, Percius. Your set your village as far east as possible of the wolf territories at the base of the mountains, to show your ‘strength’, to show that you could survive without the assistance of the other tribes. What happened?”
  239. >Percious didn’t answer.
  240. >”Bandits happened. A simple trek over the mountains and the human bandits had an easy source of slaves from a village completely isolated from the rest of the pack.”
  241. >More silence
  242. >”And you too, came to me. You begged on your knees for help. You had lost your wife, your sons, your daughters. You would do anything to get them back. And what did I do, Percius?”
  243. >You swore even the stone walls were grinding in discomfort at this point.
  244. >”I sent my best agents up those mountains. They found the human camp, and they showed them,” he pulled a mana-crystal out of his robe, “that even if we can’t draw mana from the earth, we are just as lethal if not more so than any human Templar”
  245. >as he spoke, some red sparks arced off the crystal before finally dissipating as he finished speaking.
  246. >”And did I return your family to you, Percius?”
  247. >”…yes”
  248. >”Have the bandits ever dared attack your village since?”
  249. >He shook his head
  250. >”So as you can see, you don’t just owe me some crystals. You owe me your livelihoods!”
  251. >”Everything you are! Everything you ever will be! It will be because of ME!
  252. >”And I come to you with a simple request, and you spit in my face?”
  253. >”Do you think I can’t take these things away just as easily as I gave you?”
  254. >No one answered
  255. >”So when I call on you”, Clovis leaned close to the scared one
  256. >”You will answer, you will not disobey, and YOU WILL deliver on my request! Or I will personally undo everything I have given you!” he barked as will he drew his face closer to the elder’s one looking down.
  257. >”And if I so choose to indulge myself to a roasted turkey, who are you to question it?”
  258. >the council looked at each other in confusion at the seemingly random remark
  259. >”You have one month to deliver the crystals to my estate. I don’t care the means you obtain, or deliver them, just have them on time.”
  260. >Clovis, with his demand declared, strode over to the exit as you opened it for him.
  261. >you took one last glance at the elders, most were back to mumbling to themselves as you shut the doors.
  262. >turning around, you found that in the short span of time, Clovis had leaned against the wall and slumped down to sitting.
  263. >”That was the hardest meeting I’ve ever had to address” she panted.
  264. “But you did it. And you won’t have to do another one until after the baby is born”
  265. >“After the baby is…’ she parroted before shaking her head
  266. >”I haven’t thought that far ahead. I’m not sure I want to”
  267. >You once again found yourself sitting down beside her
  268. ‘Then don’t. We can move ahead, one day at a time”
  269. >”One day at a…” she paused a moment before nodding
  270. >”Alright”
  271. >You stood up and offered her a hand
  272. >with a moment’s hesitation, she took it and pulled herself up
  273. >”Thank you”
  274. >You nodded as the two of you began you walk back to the estate
  275. “One thing though. I know it was to cover the belly, but I’ve never seen you eat turkey before.”
  276. >”That was more an impromptu craving, most likely from my charge”
  277. “Make sense”
  278. >”Speaking of which, we need to stop at the meat market in Karne to address said cravings”
  279. “Alrighty”
  280. >”Along with a jar of garlic jelly”
  281. “Bleh! That’s the line right there for me!”
  282. >And she giggled with a smile
  283. >The most genuine smile you’d seen from her in a long time.
  284. >And so a month came and went
  285. >The villages whose elders attended the meeting had the crystals sent to the estate within the first week
  286. >for all intents and purposes, Clovis had the resources needed to set the his plan in motion
  287. >and at the moment, he could care less
  288. >you had entered her private chambers to deliver her dinner (tuna and olives)
  289. >but rather than the usual song and dance of snatching up the dish and scarfing it down, she merely motioned for your to enter the room without even looking at you.
  290. >currently, she was standing in front of the bedroom’s full body mirror, completely in the buff
  291. >one minute, she’d stand front facing to it, then switch to in profile the next.
  292. >This went on for a good ten minutes while you sat in the back watching this event unfold
  293. >you took the time to stop and examine her body from afar
  294. >while she was still lithe, you could make out the subtle changes to her body, minus the rounded orb of her midsection
  295. >her hips had rounded out a bit, and her chest size was slowly going up in preparation for the inevitable milk
  296. >finally, she spotted you in the mirror and sighed
  297. >”Just say it”
  298. “What?”
  299. >”I’m fat”
  300. >You had to hold back from rolling your eyes as you set the plate on the table and stood up
  301. “You’re not fat. You’re pregnant”
  302. >”Same thing”
  303. “Nooo, one is caused by one’s inability to stop stuffing their face. The other is caused by a baby.”
  304. >”I stuff my face…”
  305. “To feed said baby”
  306. >she squinted at you through the mirror
  307. >”Are you going to have a comeback for everything I say?”
  308. “I try” you said with a smirk
  309. >she rolled her eyes instead before looking back at herself in the mirror
  310. >“It doesn’t feel like my own body anymore”
  311. >risking her wrath, you stood behind her and placed your hands on her shoulders while looking at her reflection
  312. >it didn’t come, she merely raised hers up to interlock with yours
  313. >she’d seemed to be in her own little world as she looked down herself
  314. >”I wasn’t always like this, you know”
  315. >”Not”, she gestured to her belly, “this I mean. I…wasn’t always…female”
  316. >you hadn’t heard this before
  317. >you had mostly assumed she’d been incognito since she founded the organization.
  318. >”A while back, I had some wolves who owed me for a service attempt to steal a crystal from right under the Templar’s noses. Everything was in place, everything should have gone perfect”
  319. >her hands tightened around yours
  320. >”And then, at the last second, everything went wrong”
  321. >”I was cursed, turned into the very thing I loathed, I despised.”
  322. >”And then, as if to put icing on the cake of misery”, her hands drifted down to cup her belly, “this happened”
  323. >”My entire world’s been turned upside down”
  324. >you weren’t sure if you had done it subconsciously to try and comfort her, or if she had started it in her stressed state, but the two of you slowly rocked back and forth.
  325. >”but I’ll fix this”, she looked up at herself, “I’ll turn all of this around. All I need to do is set this job into motion. I’ll have troops for the territories, I’ll have my means to undo this curse! I’ll be free!”
  326. >as she spoke, there was a wild fire in her eyes that seemed to grow.
  327. >finally, you spoke up
  328. “Have you enjoyed any of it?”
  329. >”What? The weird carvings? The sore feet? Or the ever-growing chest?”
  330. “Are you saying you don’t enjoy the foot rubs?”
  331. >”Weeeell, I didn’t say that”
  332. “And the chefs have been able to keep with the cravings, right?”
  333. >”Speaking of which” she eyed the plate on the table through the mirror “I’m about to have at that tuna”
  334. “I know it’s a lot to take in, but I don’t think it’s as bad as you may be painting it”
  335. >”Yeah right! Let’s see you carry around a baby for-“
  336. >she suddenly froze in place, seemingly looking off like she was trying to hear something
  337. “What hap-“
  338. >Without answering, she abruptly reached up, grabbed your arms, and pulled them down to her belly
  339. ‘Wha-“
  340. >”Wait”
  341. >You didn’t move. For a moment, you weren’t sure what you were waiting on
  342. >Then, it happened
  343. >You felt something flutter
  344. >Ever so faint, but it was there
  345. >”It…it moved!”
  346. >she turned to face you
  347. >she had a look that was a mix mash of surprise, shock, and…joy?
  348. >”It moved! It moved! It moved!”
  349. >you had to almost lean away a little as she jumped up and down with her chant
  350. >yep, that was joy
  351. >you kneeled down in front of her
  352. >head right level with her stomach
  353. “4 months…So small and already kicking like a champ”
  354. >”It’s real. The morning sickness, the soreness. Just symptoms. But to actually feel it…”
  355. >You looked up at her, chin ever lightly resting on her belly
  356. “Is it so bad now?”
  357. >she looked off to the side
  358. >”Well, maybe not”
  359. >You donned your best grin
  360. >she glared back at you
  361. >”But I’m still calling on that foot rub when I’m done with the tuna”
  362. >Ever since your child’s quickening, Clovis had mellowed out a bit
  363. >And by a bit, very little
  364. >Something was always sore, there was always a new exotic craving to sate (pickles wrapped in bacon)
  365. >but a new complaint was preparing to rear its head today
  366. >”Anon!”
  367. >you set your book down and made your way upstairs
  368. “What’s wrong?” you asked peeking your head in the door
  369. >Clovis turned around
  370. >she was wearing her old cape again, and like her former wardrobe, nothing else
  371. >she had a pitiful look on her face as she looked up at you
  372. >”They’re sore”
  373. >well at least it was something you could handle
  374. “Time for a rub?”, you said as you shut the door
  375. >her expression went from sad to anger in a blink
  376. >”Not my feet, you dolt!”
  377. >she cupped the open air around her chest
  378. >squinting a bit, you looked at her chest.
  379. >they did look a bit engorged, having gone up at least a cup size since you two’s first night together
  380. >you could even make out a bit of pink where the nipple was beginning to-
  381. “Ohhh”
  382. >”They’ve been sore ever since the start, it’s how I figured out I was, you know”
  383. >her ears drooped
  384. >”But now they’re actually starting hurt”
  385. >you already had a pretty good idea what the problem was
  386. “Hang on, I have a theory”
  387. >you approached
  388. >she was already looking a bit apprehensive
  389. >you knew there’s was no way she’d let you test your hypothesis
  390. >so you cut to and gave one of her nipples a quick brush with your thumb
  391. >she gasped and recoiled back, covering her chest
  392. >she looked like you had just slapped her
  393. >”Why you-!“
  394. >you pointed at her chest
  395. “Look”
  396. >she looked down and blinked
  397. >the breast you had brushed was now leaking a white fluid
  398. “I was right, your colostrum has come in”
  399. >”My what?”
  400. “Your milk I mean, you were under so much pressure just touch it caused you to start leaking
  401. >”Now what?”
  402. “Well, the best way to deal with it is to relieve it”
  403. >”How?”
  404. “You got a jar?”
  405. >”Not in grabbing range”
  406. “Well, there iiiis another way”
  407. >There was a pause
  408. >”Well?”
  409. “It’s, uhh, bit more…direct method”
  410. >She stared for a moment, then went wide eyed when it clicked
  411. >”No”
  412. >You shrugged
  413. “You’re going to start leaking everywhere unless you deal with it”
  414. >”But can’t we do something else, like, I don’t know, just squirt it out the window or something?”
  415. “The other groundskeepers might spot you if you do that”
  416. >Clovis looked terrified thinking of the possibility
  417. >she looked around for a moment, trying to find some unseen solution to her current problem, before slumping her shoulders defeated.
  418. >”Fine”
  419. >You nodded before motioning her to sit on the edge of the bed
  420. >you grabbed one of the table chairs and set it in front of her
  421. >you stared at her chest for a moment
  422. >you two had done much, MUCH than this, and yet this situation almost felt more uncomfortable
  423. “We’re going to go slow”
  424. >you leaned in and with what little oral finesse you had, you used your tongue to lap up the leaking colostrum from her left nipple you had brushed
  425. >Not bad, kinda sweet actually
  426. >she instantly hissed as her fingers and toes curled
  427. >you stopped a second to look up at her
  428. “You going to be ok?”
  429. >”Don’t stop!” she barked
  430. “Got it”
  431. >time for step two
  432. >you latched onto her breast with your whole mouth
  433. >tongue teasing the exposed flesh
  434. >here came the panting
  435. >now that you had a seal going with your mouth, the flow was much more consistent
  436. >your child was not going to go hungry
  437. >you looked over and saw her right nipple, lonely and deprived of attention
  438. >reaching over with your free hand, you started to stimulate the other nipple
  439. >like the one you were currently tending to, the mere act of rubbing it was enough to get it to begin “expressing” the fluid
  440. >a minute or so and you swapped off to the next breast
  441. >After a few minutes, you finally released your mouth from her breast
  442. >you wiped a bit of stray colostrum off your mouth
  443. >a bit had managed to get on the bed sheets, but that was a matter that could be handled later
  444. “So…better?”
  445. >still in a daze, she just gave a lazed nod
  446. >”I think…” she panted, “I just found a new chore for you”
  447. >well that was one way to put it
  448. Oh so slowly
  449. 5
  450. >You cracked an eye open
  451. >You could just make out the facial features of a sleeping Clovis across the bed
  452. >For the first time, she had asked you to spend the night with her
  453. >She claimed it was due to nightmares, but she wouldn’t say what they were
  454. >You didn’t know if this was an excuse, or a legitimate thing
  455. >it didn’t matter though, it gave you the opportunity to be close
  456. >even if she was asleep
  457. >also it allowed to do what you had planned next
  458. >ever so carefully, you scooched out of the covers down the bed a bit
  459. >you placed two fingers on the side of her belly
  460. >you paused a moment to make sure Clovis didn’t stir
  461. >she didn’t move
  462. “Are you awake?”
  463. >but it wasn’t addressed at her
  464. >but rather her unborn child
  465. >you got a slight nudge on your fingers from within
  466. “Good, good”
  467. >you paused for a moment to try and find the right words for the next bit
  468. “I know this probably isn’t the best time to do this, but it might be the only chance I get. And after you’re born, you won’t understand for awhile. ”
  469. >you sighed
  470. “I know mommy can be a bit, loud, and a bit short tempered sometimes but…She’s…under a lot of stress. Things are changing for her, in ways she never predicted. You were…something she never saw coming. She’s nervous, she’s…afraid.
  471. >another nudge
  472. “Just…know this. No matter what happens, or how she acts, she loves you. We, love you.”
  473. >you leaned in a kissed her belly
  474. “Good night, little one”
  475. With the same care as before, you laid your head back on your pillow and closed your eyes
  476. What you didn’t see, however, was an amber eye crack open after you had drifted off
  477. >in silence, a tentative hand reached out and rested on your shoulder, it’s owner pulling herself as close to you as she could
  478. >the quietest of snifflings breaking the silence
  479. ______________________________________________________
  480. 6-1
  481. >As the day was coming to a close, Clovis requested you bring her dinner to the bedroom
  482. >though at the same time, she also requested you bring something for yourself up with you
  483. >with both dishes in hand (pulled pork on sauerkraut and your smoked turkey)
  484. >Clovis was already sitting at the dinner table
  485. >candles already lit
  486. >still wearing the hood and robe combo
  487. “Not going to wear the nightgown I got you?”
  488. >she groaned
  489. >”Anon, while I…appreciate the gesture, my wardrobe is one of the few things in my life I still have control over. Please, don’t take that away from me.”
  490. >technically, your suggested wardrobe covered up more, but you weren’t going to argue
  491. >you set the plates down and took your seat across from her
  492. >”We have matters to discuss”
  493. >you raised an eyebrow
  494. >She was doing to political diplomat voice again
  495. “Uh, ok”
  496. >”How long have your worked for me?”
  497. >you looked off to the side trying to remember
  498. “Five, maybe six years”
  499. >”Occupation?”
  500. “Groundskeeper at first, later a servant in the estate itself”
  501. >you decided to get a tad bold and probe this discussion
  502. “Where are you going with this?”
  503. >”Since I hit the halfway point of this pregnancy, I’ve been cooped up in this wing of the estate. Truth be told, I wouldn’t mind so much, but, there’s matters that need my direct attention but I can’t afford this secret to be revealed.
  504. “Can’t you just do the chest bind thing?”
  505. >”I’ve already tried, the enchantment works on flesh, but not fluid. Or at least not milk anyway. And I seriously doubt any amount of your “tending” will alleviate the problem.”
  506. >”And this”, she leaned back and away from the table, presenting her swollen belly “Isn’t something I can just dismiss away as fat anymore”
  507. >she took a bite of the bitter concoction on her plate before continuing
  508. >”while the other estate workers have managed to remain relatively autonomous in the daily routines, it won’t be long before they notice this impromptu “extended vacation” I’ve been on is taking longer than it should. While some of my affairs can be handled behind the scenes, some need a face to go with it, a person”
  509. >you grabbed a piece of turkey while she continued-
  510. >”I see it fit to give you a promotion to my second in command. Effective immediately
  511. >and almost choked on said piece of turkey
  512. “Wha?”
  513. >”I need someone to act in my stead, at least until our child is born.”
  514. “Wait, what exactly am I going to be doing?
  515. >”I need you to make sure the final pieces of my plan are in place”
  516. “And what’s this plan you keep mentioning?”
  517. >she twirled her fork for a moment before answering
  518. >”Next fall, there’s going to be a meeting between the Templar and the Tigers. The town the meeting is taking place is called Edinmire. Not particularly noteworthy, but it does have one detail we can exploit. Currently, it’s being used to hold the local wolf populations that didn’t flee when the war started. We plan to cause a…distraction at the meeting, and liberate the prisoners to bolster our ranks.”
  519. >You paused to take this all in
  520. “Isn’t Edenmire all the way on the other side of the human territories?”
  521. >”Yes, that’s where the next detail comes in. The town is also home a Riftwall, one of the few still working. And this Riftwall,” she leaned forward. “Just happens to be connected to the one in Moelygarth, right in our backyard.”
  522. “Convenient”
  523. >”Indeed. When the war began, I had some of my best agents go take the tavern. Now, it’s one of our base of operations.”
  524. >”For the time being, the Rift is sealed. But once the time is right, we will reactivate it and storm the so called “Wolf Pens”. We’ll have our troops for the war, and I’ll get my prize from our benefactors”
  525. >”What I need you to do, specifically, is travel to Moelygarth, make sure all the supplies and agents are in place, and report back to me"
  526. “And how are they going to know these orders for a report are coming from you and not something I’m pulling out of my ass?”
  527. >”There’s a code phrase that will legitimize your claim, ‘I’m here to pass on the coin’. State that, they shouldn’t give you problems”
  528. >One more pause
  529. “When should I get started?”
  530. >”I’d like you to make the trip within the month. I’ll need the information to plan out the final stages of the strike for me and the troops”
  531. >Hold on
  532. “Wait, what? You and the troops”
  533. >”Yes, I’ll be there to make sure the attack goes according to plan”
  534. >concern rising
  535. “What about the baby?”
  536. >”Well clearly it’ll be born by then”
  537. “Well yeah, but you’re going to be back in direct operations, right?”
  538. >”yes?”
  539. “Then whose going to be taking care of it?”
  540. >”Eh, I’ll hire a wet-nurse. That should handle things, right?”
  541. >you took a moment to process what you were hearing and choose your next words carefully
  542. “Clovis, do you care about this child?”
  543. >Anon, I am THIS close to getting my old life back! I can’t worry about secondary details now!”
  544. “So that’s all it is to you…a secondary detail. Just shed it all off and act like it all never happened?”
  545. >you shook your head and stood up from the table
  546. “Just remember, that detail you’re willing to abandon has a heart, a soul, and it’s going to wonder why its own mother doesn’t love them.
  547. >and with that, you walked out of the room
  548. >Clovis still sitting in stunned confusion
  549. 6-2
  550. >Pain, splitting pain
  551. >That was about the only thing Clovis’ brain could register
  552. >that and a voice berating her
  553. >”Push!”
  554. >trying to follow the order just incited more pain but she bore down
  555. >One cry of pain, and it was over
  556. >she panted a moment before looking down
  557. >blood and fur
  558. >that’s all she could make out in the person’s hands
  559. >a keirdran pup
  560. >but something was wrong
  561. >it wasn’t moving
  562. >”why’s he not crying?”
  563. >she looked up at the person
  564. >No answer, Anon simply started to turn and walk away
  565. >”Wait, where are you taking him?”
  566. >He disappeared into the shadows
  567. >”No!”
  568. >alone
  569. >unloved
  570. >”NOOO!”
  571. ____
  572. >Clovis snapped awake and shot up from her pillow
  573. >she took a moment to take in her surroundings
  574. >it was her room, moonlight pouring in from the window
  575. >no all-encompassing void past her bed-
  576. >the baby!
  577. >her hands shot to her belly
  578. >still there, still swollen
  579. >its occupant giving a nudge to make their presence known
  580. >she breathed a sigh of relief
  581. >it was just a dream
  582. >still…
  583. >she looked over to the other side of the bed
  584. >it was empty
  585. >…she was still alone
  586. >in a move she wouldn’t have made a few weeks ago, she grabbed her bed sheets, draped them over herself like an oversized blanket, and peeked out her door
  587. >all the servants had either gone home, or in the barracks
  588. >carefully creeping down the halls, she found the room she was looking for
  589. >fortunately, he left it unlocked
  590. ____
  591. >”Anon?”
  592. >you grumbled a moment before opening your eyes
  593. >it took a second to register who you were looking at
  594. >your boss was sitting beside you on the bed
  595. “Clovis? Are you alright?”
  596. >She looked down
  597. >”…No”
  598. >And out of the blue, she broke into sobs
  599. >carefully you sat next to her and wrapped an arm around her
  600. >this time for sure you it was you starting the rocking back and forth motion
  601. >you let her cry on her shoulder for a minute until you could tell she had calmed down
  602. >carefully, you held her by the shoulders and looked at her
  603. “Now tell me what happened”
  604. >she gave a sniffle
  605. >”I had the nightmare again”
  606. “You mean the one you had a few months back?”
  607. >she a slight nod
  608. >”I had the baby and…you took him and left”
  609. >she started crying again
  610. >you brought her close again
  611. “Clovis, I’m not going anywhere”
  612. >she looked up, wet lines visible down her face
  613. >”Really?”
  614. >you nodded
  615. “Here, let me prove it”
  616. >you hopped up from the bed and lit the nightstand candle to get some light
  617. >in the corner was something with a white cover over it
  618. “I was going to wait till later to surprise you with it, but I think now might be more appropriate
  619. >and with that, you pulled back the cover
  620. >it was a small redwood crib
  621. “Just needs a pillow and a blanket”
  622. >she stared at the tiny piece of furniture for a moment
  623. >”You made this?
  624. “I’ve been working on it for a few months now”
  625. “I’m in this for the long run, boss”
  626. >she grabbed you and pulled you into a hug
  627. >more tears
  628. >”Thank you”
  629. “No problem”
  630. >”I…don’t want to be alone, can you stay in my room for…the foreseeable future?
  631. >you gave a chuckle
  632. “Of course”
  633. _____
  634. 6-3
  635. >The morning sun shined through the window, demanding you wake to greet it
  636. >after trying a minute to resist the urge, you finally cracked an eye open
  637. >at least you had something nice to wake up to
  638. >Clovis was sprawled out on the other side of the bed
  639. >One of the few moments she looked peaceful
  640. >no fretting over work or the baby
  641. >just a still, content demeanor
  642. >you wished there was some way to keep that calm when she was awake
  643. >you idly swept a stray bang out of the way of her face
  644. >a pair of brown eyes opened slightly to meet yours
  645. “Mornin’”
  646. >”I slept in didn’t I?”
  647. “Yep”
  648. >she groaned as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes
  649. >”I’ve got paperwork I need do”
  650. “Aw come on” you pouted as you propped your chin on the pillow beside her
  651. “It’s the weekend though, take a day off. Relax”
  652. >”I don’t know what that word is” she said trying not to look smug
  653. “How about a bath at least before you jump into the paperwork?”
  654. >”Well, you certainly need one”
  655. “Come on now, you know you need one too”
  656. >you hopped out of the bed, and stood by her side of the bed
  657. >her eyes went wide when she realized what was coming
  658. >”Noooo”
  659. “Yes”
  660. >and with that, you scooped up your fecund princess
  661. >”Ack! Put me down!
  662. “Nope! Everyone’s getting clean!”
  663. >and with that, you carried her over the threshold into the bathroom
  664. ___
  665.
  666. >after a minute or so to warm up the water, Clovis let herself submerge a bit under the water while propped up in Anon’s lap
  667. >it didn’t occur to her how sore she was until the therapeutic heat soothed her muscles
  668. >”Ok, maybe I needed this”
  669. “See? Told ya”
  670. >she felt him work a bit of the shampoo into her head and back fur
  671. >”You know, you’re the first person I’ve ever bathed with”
  672. “I seem to be first for a lot of things”
  673. >”Well…I never really opened up to people. Even before the change.”
  674. “Can’t trust anyone?”
  675. >”I trust you”
  676. >he lathered the shampoo in a bit
  677. “Do you think you would have had kids otherwise? If all this hadn’t have happened”
  678. >she pondered the question for a moment
  679. >”It had never really crossed my mind. Maybe waaay down the road if I retired and passed the title Prin-I mean, Lord of Coins to someone else”
  680. “I thought it was Prince of Coins”
  681. >”Lord of Coins sounds better”
  682. >she could see Anon raising an eyebrow out of the corner of her eye
  683. >”Or the dragon may or may not have made where I can’t say a certain word without it turning into Princess instead”
  684. “Oooh”
  685. >”Though looking back now, I’m not sure I mind how things turned out so much”
  686. “Would you still turn back if you got the chance?”
  687. >”Well I wouldn’t say no, but I could take it off when I need to play mommy for little one here”
  688. >she idly rubbed her belly a bit
  689. >his hands interlaced hers
  690. >”My turn to ask a question”
  691. “Shoot”
  692. >”How did you know about stuff like the milk coming in?”
  693. “My mother was the healer in our village. Add two younger siblings on top of that, and I wound up passively learning a bit more than I cared to know”
  694. >she snickered
  695. “Still, I’d say it paid off to know in the end. Mind your eyes”
  696. >with that be poured a bucket of water the clear the suds off her head.
  697. >for a moment she leaned back a bit, resting her head on his chest
  698. >then her face went blank
  699. >“I just realized, we haven’t picked out baby names”
  700. “I thought you were going to pick them out”
  701. >”Me!? You’re the baby expert here!”
  702. >you sat there a minute trying to ponder up some names for your upcoming child
  703. “Well, maybe Nakoda for a boy, and L’nuk for a girl”
  704. >”Going the traditional route?”
  705. >you shrugged your shoulders
  706. “You put the responsibilities in my hands”
  707. “Alright, Mr. Expert tell me; boy or girl?”
  708. “Do what now?”
  709. >”Do you think I’m having a boy or a girl?”
  710. You looked over her shoulder and cupped her a belly a bit, giving your most convincing “hmm”
  711. >”Well, there’s an old wives tale that if you grow more outward, it’s a boy. If it’s more out to the sides, it’s a girl.”
  712. >”And?”
  713. “Well, to be honest, you’re kinda small in the first place so when the baby hit, you’ve kinda rounded out in all directions.”
  714. >”You calling me fat?”
  715. >here we go again
  716. “Nah, just a big baby!”
  717. >right on cue, you felt a jab on your palm from the inside
  718. “Big healthy baby since you’ve been eating right”
  719. >”I wouldn’t call have the things I’ve stuffed my face with the past 6 months ‘right’”
  720. “Just part of the process”
  721. >she got quiet for a moment as she looked off to the side
  722. >”I wanted to thank you”
  723. “For what?”
  724. >”For putting up with me. The complaining, the weird cravings, mood swings. Anyone else probably would have given up and left.”
  725. >she looked over her shoulder at you
  726. >”But you didn’t”
  727. >You waved it off
  728. “Anyone with a heart would have”
  729. >”Regardless”
  730. >she shifted her weight and turned around to face you
  731. >you were in an all too familiar pose
  732. >”Allow me”, she draped her arms on your shoulders
  733. >”To thank you proper”
  734. >and with that, she brought her hands around your cheeks and pulled you in for a kiss
  735. >you offered no resistance and returned in kind
  736. >your hands wound up going down the sides of her body before cupping her breasts
  737. “I won’t lie, you’ve filled out nicely since the start of this”
  738. >she hissed for a moment before smirking at you
  739. >for once she wasn’t taking it as an insult
  740. >”I don’t think we have to pretend we don’t know where this is going”
  741. “Nope”
  742. >you were already ready to go
  743. >carefully, she started to pose over your manlihood
  744. >but just as she was starting to come down, she froze
  745. >”Wait”, she snapped her eyes at you
  746. >”Is this safe?”
  747. >it took a second a second to process the question
  748. “Yes”
  749. >”Oh, well then” she promptly came down on your red line”
  750. >you gave a grunt as the weight hit
  751. “No subtly with you”
  752. >”Hush, you love it” she panted as she started up a rhythm
  753. “Yeah”, you huffed
  754. “You’re right”
  755. >and with that, you decided to have a moment to lack self-restraint and placed your muzzle between her fun pillows for a moment
  756. >Yep, squishy and fluffy all at the same
  757. >with that out of the way, you started to
  758. >you felt her place a hand on your chest and abruptly pushed you over
  759. >if you were on the shallow part of the private bath, your face would be underwater and not just the back of your head
  760. >while you were flat on your back, she was looking over you smirking
  761. >”Now, now, I’m here to treat you. Just back”
  762. >she leaned forward, her breasts dangling just over your face
  763. >”and let me do all the work”
  764. >she started her rises and falls over while keeping her hand planted on your chest
  765. >probably to keep from toppling over from the baby belly weight
  766. ”You –ah- deserve to be treated too”
  767. >”You’ve done –hiss- so much mo-AH!” she tried to retort, only to be cut off as you gave a sudden pelvic thrust, causing everything from her belly to her chest to jiggle from the sudden jolt
  768. “How…about” you panted as you leaned up and brought her close, or as close with a belly in the way
  769. “We treat each other?”
  770. >she didn’t answer, but you felt her head nod in a slight twitch
  771. >rather than the frantic pace you two put on during your child’s conception, you slowed down
  772. >deep and deliberate
  773. >you were going to keep going as long as your stamina would allow
  774. >you wanted the gods to be jealous
  775. >you both writhed together, making waves through the water
  776. Her moans a harmony to your panting
  777. >you weren’t sure how long you two managed, but eventually it reached its crescendo
  778. >her body was shivering as it was reaching its limit
  779. “Ready?”
  780. >she opened her eyes for a moment and gave a nod
  781. >and in the final stretch, you sped up the momentum
  782. >a moan built in her throat, louder, and louder, until finally in left her mouth in a cry of bliss
  783. >and in one moment of raw instinct, you both embraced each other for dear life as the orgasm wracked both of your bodies
  784. >with every ounce of energy spent, you let yourself fall on your back in the shallow pool in a dazed mess
  785. >somehow Clovis had managed to stay upright
  786. >her hands on her belly
  787. >”We woke the baby”
  788. >with a faint chuckle, you reached up gave the furry orb a brief rub
  789. “So are we going to get out of the tub?”
  790. >”Mmm, give it a minute” she said dismissingly as she laid sideways with her head across your chest
  791. “Good…good, ‘cause I can’t feel my legs”
  792.
  793. >3 months later
  794. >You watched your fecund mate(?) pace the floor of her room
  795. >this had been going on and off for the past hour
  796. >finally, you asked the dumbest question possible
  797. “You ok?”
  798. >”No I’m not ok!” she spat
  799. >“I’m sore!”
  800. “Where?”
  801. >another unknowingly stupid question
  802. >”Everywhere!” she said as she turned to face you
  803. >she raised a foot and pointed her hands at it
  804. >”My feet! My chest! I’m bloated! My damn skin hurts! I hate this!”
  805. “Honey, you’re just tense over-“
  806. >”Don’t you ‘Honey’ me!” she growled as she bared her teeth at you
  807. >you leaned back a good 3 feet
  808. >she clicked her claws together in a fidgety manner
  809. >”It’s just…” She suddenly turned and yelled at the ceiling in frustration as if to spite some unseen afflicter
  810. >“GAAAAAAH! I can’t take this! You’ve had your fun mocking me! I had enough! Make! It! STOOOP!”
  811. >that’s when you noticed something
  812. “Uhhh, Ho-Clovis? You’re leaking”
  813. >”What do you mean I’m leaking again!? You just took care of them an hour ago!”
  814. “I don’t mean your chest” you said worriedly
  815. >She finally looked down
  816. >there was a clear puddle around her feet
  817. >her mood changed in a heartbeat
  818. >”Oh noooonononono! I’m not ready! I’m not ready for this!” she looked up at you with a face of terror
  819. >you shook off your stupor and was at her side in a blink
  820. “It’s alright, let’s just get to the bed. Just breathe. Don’t forget your breathing”
  821. >you were doing your best not to panic despite every fiber in you wanting otherwise
  822. >Carefully, you helped her onto the bed
  823. >on all fours and no point to modesty, she lifted her tail
  824. >it wasn’t long before the contractions reared their ugly head
  825. >as did her seething rage
  826. >”I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!” she roared between heaves
  827. >“she doesn’t mean it” you had to remind yourself in your head
  828. >she was scared
  829. >and so were you
  830. “You’re gonna get through this. Just breathe and push when your body tenses.”
  831. >The passage of time seemed to blur
  832. >Maybe it was minutes, maybe it was an hour
  833. >Either way, you were at her side the entire time
  834. >she almost broke your hand at least once
  835. >but it all melted away in an instance, when you looked back to check her progress
  836. >something was starting to emerge
  837. >rather abruptly in fact that you had to scramble behind her just to catch it
  838. >the world went still for a moment
  839. >silence
  840. >deafening silence
  841. >Clovis looked over her shoulder
  842. >her eyes wide in terror as her nightmare was creeping towards reality
  843. >you were holding your breath
  844. >then finally, in an act of mercy from the world, the cub let out a cry
  845. >you lifted up the baby as you finally remembered to breathe
  846. “It’s a girl!”
  847. >Carefully, you sat down beside Clovis and handed her daughter to her
  848. >The new mother started at her cub for a moment, taking in every detail
  849. >most of her fur was dark like yours, but down past her forehead, around her eyes, muzzle, all the way down her belly, was the creamy color of her mother
  850. >she was still for a moment, before she shook into sobs
  851. >she brought the crying fuzzy thing close to her
  852. >”Hello, my little L’nuk”
  853. >she was rocking back and forth again
  854. >”I’m your mommy, he’s your daddy and…we love you”
  855. >it didn’t take much effort to get the infant to latch onto her chest
  856. >you looked at each other for a moment as the pup started to nurse
  857. “I love you”
  858. >”I love you too”
  859. >And with a kiss, you set those words in stone
  860. __
  861. >a few months had passed since your daughter’s birth
  862. >Clovis had attended one more meeting to get the last details of her plan set and remind the world she hadn’t died in a corner somewhere
  863. >The official story was he was off tending to a mistress pregnant with his child
  864. >the magic based sound proofing he had placed on his wing of his estate years ago left no evidence to prove otherwise
  865. >but beyond that meeting, she was at her estate, caring for her newborn
  866. >No need for a wetnurse
  867. >This day in particular though, she was short a pair of hands
  868. >”Your father is late, L’nuk. Shall we throw him in the dungeon?”
  869. >the baby wolf just gurgled at her mother
  870. >”Alright, for him this time. But only because you’re so convincing” she said tickling her cub, prompting a squeal of joy.
  871. >right on cue, you came through the door
  872. “Sorry I’m late” you said as you set a bag down
  873. >”Now where, oh where have you been?
  874. “I uh, made a stop at Karne”
  875. >“Karne?”
  876. “Yeah, I uhh got some extra stuff. Baby garments, cloth for the diapers, and uhh.”
  877. >Clovis looked at him slightly unconcinced
  878. >he shocked his head
  879. “I had this whole big thing planned out in my head, and now I can’t remember any of it
  880. >Clovis tilted her head at him
  881. >”Wha-“
  882. “So, here we go”
  883. >And in a single fluid motion, he was on his knee
  884. >with a small box in his hand
  885. “Clovis. Prince, Princess, or Lord of Coins”
  886. >he popped the box open
  887. >a small ring sat in its center
  888. “Will you marry me?”
  889. >she stared dumbfounded at the tiny metal ring
  890. >finally, she gave her answer
  891. >”For you, yes!”
  892. >he gave a smile and put the ring on her finger
  893. >Little Lnuk giggling and clapping with her little paws the entire time
  894. >you two hugged, slowly rocking back and forth
  895. >”Thank you”
  896. “Always”
  897. >she may not have planned this
  898. >but for her, things could only be uphill from here
  899.
