BACKGROUND ; hatori keiichi was born december 20th 1998 in kobe, japan making him the first child of actress nomura rio. so, even as a small child he had a taste for being in the spotlight. keiichi has always been a performer, i guess you could say it’s in his genes. he, however, went in a different direction than his mother and pursued music instead. it was actually because of his mother he became interested in pursuing an idol career in south korea. see, rio is a big fan of boa ( and other korean artists ). she was watching some special on boa on tv and keiichi just stopped in his tracks to watch her and went “woah”, “who’s that mom?”. and the obsession begins. so, while trying to juggle school and after school clubs and activities, he started training. fast forward a couple years and he passed the global auditions for sm entertainment! he was first moved to tokyo and trained for about 8 months there, then they made the move to south korea, where he stayed for about 3 years until he left sm entertainment and sought to continue elsewhere.

➥ he’s always wanted a dog but since his little was allergic to fur all they could get was fish. and he named them all.
➥ he used to be a bit chubby as a child and he’s still really insecure about his looks.
