- RATE THE EPISODE HERE AFTER YOU SEEN IT
- -
- got done watching it, I think it's a 4 or 5 out of 6.
- -
- season 1 finale already? wow thought it would be double digits at least. guess they're finally going to start working on hazbin hotel after like 3 years
- my husk plush and I will be waiting expectantly
- -
- Solid 4.5/5
- Actually progresses the plot and some of the gags were funny.
- You can see they definetly spent most of the seasons animation budget on this episode, despite some choppyness.
- Also fk off Stolas you fkin manwhre with no conscience.
- -
- Have yet to even update to see the avalanche of replies but here is my first impression and thoughts.
- You know, I don't like Helluva Boss. Stop liking it already around episode 3 and really hating it around episode 5. It just failed in so many areas and so many decisions that I hated with a passion. I'm that still relatively new drawanon that keeps illustrating content from the thread, despite all the shitstorms we weather. These threads, the greens, the content and theories we create are the only thing keeping me attached to the show. I gave up on the show, thought it lost its potential. Only was here to watch it because of you asshles.
- Holy. fking. sht. This was actually good.
- This was something I liked, even really liked. I long ago stopped expecting something good to happen.
- The songs were much better than usual with the better meaning behind them and interactions were much snappier and funnier and more meaningful. Dialogue and lyrics are much better played off than ever before. I really enjoyed myself for the musical number. The animation, spacial orientation, coloring, backgrounds are pretty and nice. I liked that we actually explored Hell and the past of some characters + gave us mentions of minor characters seen before (Tex and Verosica)
- 1/2
- -
- con. 2/2
- I'm fking surprised they actually delivered.
- I'm so glad that they didn't play into that fujo fantasy of Blitzo and Stolas being this whole perfect couple to forever be happy but actually bring some reality and some fking real punishment/reveal for the sht Stolas does to his family. And clarify his relationship with Bltizo. It's both much more satisfying to watch and more comedic this way for their relationship to be. Not some happy sunshine bullsht, it's his midlife crisis getaway for Blitzo to use. I hope it stays like this.
- I'm so glad that this episode showed something much closer to what we talk about here than any Twitter or /co/
- This personally has brought a new life into the show for me.
- You know, I think I like Helluva Boss now. Thanks, "asshles," for keeping me here.
- I hope Hazbin is something similar to this.
- -
- also this >>42810625
- I’m going to say this right now. I enjoyed this episode as it gave me a lot of things I wanted. A hard 7 to a soft 8/10.
- Here’s a list of things I like.
- 1: It’s canon that Tilla exists and she wasn’t snapped away. So that’s good.
- 2: Stella got called “smokin” which implies that she’s actually attractive in the universe which is a massive win for us Stellafgs. Plus Octavia is apparently spending the weekend with her which implies that Stella is actually a parent.
- 3: Wally Wackford is in the episode and basically said out loud that Stolas is fking an imp. Now everyone is aware.
- 4: The singing also wasn’t that bad! Funnily enough, Moxxie was the weakest singer out of everyone. Verosika was pretty good and Asmodeus stole the entire show.
- 5: It was good to see Stolas and Blitzo basically get btfo by everyone and the show is self-aware of the fact that Stolas’s is scummy as fk for fking an imp.

- VIV IS A FRAUD. HOW DO THEY GET CONTRACTS IF THEY'RE IN THE SECOND CIRCLE
- -
- Maybe the rings and cirlces are a separate system? Theres the 7 rings, but pride is divided up into 9 circles
- -
- and we saw a sinners in one of the ep's, so that mean sinners CAN go to other levels.
- -
- The largest subdivisions/planes of hell are called "rings".
- Pentagram City is the biggest metropolis in the Pride ring, and I'm guessing that surrounding it are (at least) five smaller "circles" that are like towns or suburbs.
- ---
- theres still one ep left of season 1
- ---
- I really want to say I hate Blitz but he has immense mental damage. He's literally lost mentally. It bothers me how he honestly treats stolas. But it kinda feels like he thinks Stolas doesn't love him either in a way. We need some kinda of finish to this where Blitz gets some form of respect or change. Stolas needs to make things work to man. It's ridiculous.
- -
- >feels like he thinks Stolas doesn't love him either in a way
- Nah, he knows Stolas likes him but here is his mental problem like with everybody like Blitzo. They push it away anyway.
- Anyhow, I hope they don't work either way or at least leave it ambiguous at the end for them.

- HACK FRAUD VIV
- -
- >Second layer
- So are sinners allowed in other rings or not??? Is it like a visitation system or what? Viv can't make up her mind
- ---
- He scribbled out his own face. Why?
- -
- He hates himself, Anon.
- ---
- I just noticed that Tilla is wearing the same bolo/medallion that Blitzo wears on his regular outfit. Either she's dead, he stole it or she gave it to him as a keepsake to remember her by.
- ---
- Perhaps imps have a city in every ring.
- Since even though Sinners able to travel the rings they're still outnumbered by imps.
- -----
- H A C K W R I T E R
- -
- that room reminded me of the hub thing from wreck it ralph
- -
- Pride is UP. HOW THE FK DO SINNERS GET IN IMP CITY'S RING
- -
- kek
- There also a lot of little gags in the binocular Club scene like ccking and under table blwjob.
- -
- >my prediction about the rings of hell being stratified in Dante-esque style was correct
- >she didn't cheap out and just make it one giant ring with different sections
- BASED BASED BASED
- -
- She's a hack writer because sinners are supposed to only be in pride
- -----
- >Stolas after being publically humiliated by whats basically his boss for throwing away his family to fk some loser imp STILL goes in for more
- The fkin audacity of this ngger
- -
- Stella HOT confirmed?!?!
- -
- >>42812277
- IT'S CANON BABY
- >>42812274
- Holy sht Stolas really is scummy. What type of ngger keeps cheating after the affair is exposed?????

- I rate it 7/10
- Finally a good Helluva Boss episode.
- The writing was mostly alright, dialouges improved definetly.
- Background art was gourgeous and enviromental details and jokes were great too.
- I like how they finally admitted the reality of Blitzo and Stolas' reletionship beign bad.
- It's good to see the show be self aware, it bodes well for the future.
- The drama between Blitzo is also good and definetly follows the logic of his character.
- I belive his voyerism and stalking of Moxxie and Millie stems from a cripplingly low self esteem which makes him vicariously live through them because they have something he doesn't have but wants to.
- This sets him up for failure in pretty much any reletionship he would engage in.
- And the resulting from low self esteem, self sabotage adittionally fuels the cycle of low self esteem making him feel shttier and shttier.
- It's a violent cycle which then affects his reletionship with Stolas and everyone.
- His selfloathing makes him think Stolas only wants him for sx and not for any actual merit of his character because Blitzo himself belives he has no merit to his character.
- And that is why he rejects every advance from Stolas (who is also not without fault here beign clingy and a cheater) because in his mindset he set himself up for a failure from the very start so he doesn't even try anymore.
- Ironically enough, he ego doesn't let him actually admit it to himelf that he's a shitty person so he lashes out at people around him as he buries his issues ever deeper.
- You can really tell Brandon Roger's hand here.
- For this exact mindset and personality is very much common among airheaded, narcissistic californians who at the same time hate themselves.
- Adds a whole 'nother layer to enjoy which i appriciate on the meta level.
- Props to them they didn't pander to fujoshts and portrayed the reletionship accuretly.
- Namely, extremely toxic and damaging for both Blitzo and Stolas.
- -
- desu Brandon is a pretty good VA
- -
- >the only episode Vivzie wrote herself
- >its the best one (besides ep 2)
- she can't keep getting away with it
- -
- >We're under-estimating Viv's writing skills
- What the fk?
- -
- So Brandon really is dragging down the show
- -
- at this point he should prob just stick to voice acting
- ---
- Man I really want to give Blitzo a hug after this episode.
- ---
- This is really good.
- Spot on I would say
- and I didn't even think of this
- >his voyeurism and stalking of Moxxie and Millie stems from a cripplingly low self esteem which makes him vicariously live through them because they have something he doesn't have but wants to.
- ------------
- >>We're under-estimating Viv's writing skills
- This true?
- -------------
- So Fizzarolli is a robotically enhanced imp?
- -
- Possibly. Maybe his life was cybernetically extended, or maybe his mind was transplanted into a robotic body to keep him from dying.
- Could've been a faustian deal, could've just been his boss trying to keep him around forever.
- Hell, could've been a genuine act of friendship from the other party.
- -
- He was enhanced to pleasure Ozzie, probably. Heh. I'm calling it and saying that royals having affairs with those lower on the hierarchy is very common.
- -
- ...or maybe there was that possible carnival accident where Blitz got the white scarring on his face, and something happened to Fiz.
- -
- nice theory
