How to play Hybrid topDECK Format

1) This format is Pre-Duelist Advent Set (Also, no cards from Space-Time Showdown)
2) Both players start with 12,000 LPs
3) You must have 60 cards in your Deck
4) Both Players start with 2 cards. First turn player draws 1 card. The second turn player draws 2 cards. Afterwards, both players will draw 2 cards each turn.
5) Cards that allow you to draw 2 cards instead of 1 during your Draw Phase, will let you draw 3 instead.
6) If you use cards such Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru/Malefic World which requires you to skip your Draw Phase, you can instead of drawing 2 cards that turn, declare your intention to activate their effect before drawing for your Draw Phase, proceed to resolve that effect, and then draw 1 card.
7) If at anytime during your turn, you end up with 6 or more cards in your Hand, either through drawing or activating an effect, you will be afflicted with the Draw Curse. When you get the Draw Curse, that means you can not conduct your Draw Phase next turn. Draw Curse does NOT stack, so during the turn you get it and the next turn which you are under it, your hand may go to 6+ without giving you a Draw Curse again next turn. However, after the turn you have not drawn because of Draw Curse, if you end up with 6+ cards in your Hand then Draw Curse will resume normally.


Follow these Guidelines for Deck Building:

* You must have at least 3 Different Archetypes in your Deck
* You must have at least 7 monsters per Archetype, meaning a total of 7 cards per archetype not 7 different monsters
* You can only have a maximum of 10 non-Archetype monsters in your Deck
* This format also follows the actual banlist

. All of the Exodia Pieces are banned
. Final Countdown is banned
. Soul Charge is banned
. All cards that can or will destroy more than 2 cards are banned
. All cards that destroy up to or will destroy 2 cards are limited
. All burn cards are limited
. All cards that prevent attacking are limited
. All cards that allow you to search/add/dump/banish/move from your Deck are limited ( ex: Fire Formation - Tenki/ Pot of Duality/ Genex Undine/ Necroface/ Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear)
. All cards that add from the Graveyard are semi-limited
. All cards that special summons a monster from the Graveyard are semi-limited
. All cards that special summon from the Deck are limited
. You can only play 1 monster that can special summon itself from the Graveyard
. You can only play 1 monster that can special summon itself from the Graveyard either by affecting another monster or by another monster affecting it ( ex: Level Eater/ Wulf, Lightsworn Beast)
. All cards that allow you to draw are limited
. All cards that special summon themselves without starting a chain are limited ( ex: Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning)
