Where did you come from?
"Somewhere very far away!"
You answered my question without speaking a word
I could tell, you'd come from a world I knew nothing of
Just from the color of your sighs

I'm sure you've got some painful oaths to keep
And yet, you sing of tomorrow with a smile on your face

"As long as you're true to yourself,
Things will end up working out somehow"
How could you say something like that with such ease?
I know that everyone has that feeling
Of wanting to be brave, but
Alas, people tend to be fickle...

What are you aspiring towards?
"Going even farther out there!"
You pointed up at the sky as you answered
I want to talk about places I've yet to see with you,
Of a future that makes my heart dance

I'm sure you're headed off to your next destination
And yet your smile (never wavers)
I'm jealous of how brilliant it is

"If you want to make your dreams come true
It's important to never give up"
How could you say something like that so seriously?
I'll be fine, I've gained courage
Just from seeing how passionate you are
Maybe just from that, I'll find that passion too
