Yes, that's how things are said around here. It infuriates you to no end, but you asked for detail, so that's what you're getting.]
  87. [10:23] CPP: [You could alternatively head out of your LABORATORY and stroll around the FACILITY, talking with other SCIENTISTS who are possibly working on last-minute arrangements for PROJECT BINARY or just talking with them about other things.]
  88. [10:23] CPP: [You could alternatively go out of your way and head to less-traveled locations around the FACILITY, such as SECRET CORRIDORS, UTILITY ROOMS, and OTHER INTERESTING LOCALES.]

  93. [10:25] CPP: [> Go to secret corridors.]
  94. [10:26] CPP: [Okay, but they're pretty out of the way. You move out of your LABORATORY and into BASIC-LEVEL CORRIDOR D. The CORRIDOR is fairly narrow, and many DOORS line both sides of the CORRIDOR, each containing a SCIENTIST'S own LAB. All of them will be gradually filing out for THE EXECUTION, but seeing as it's pretty early, you can probably do whatever you want undetected.]
  95. [10:26] CPP: [There are GATEWAYS on each end of the CORRIDOR. You'll need to input your own CREDENTIALS to pass through.]
  96. [10:27] ?GG: >go further away from execution

  102. [10:28] ?GG: the one leading further away
  103. [10:29] CPP: [The CENTRAL CHAMBER is to the EAST, so you head to the WEST GATEWAY. You input your CREDENTIALS on the TERMINAL lodged into the wall next to the GATEWAY and it slides open, allowing you entry through. It'll stay open until you pass through it or sixty seconds pass.]
  104. [10:29] ?TT: ((Why are we looking for empty offices?))
  105. [10:29] ?GG: easier to snoop around
  106. [10:32] ?GG: >pass through gate
  107. [10:33] CPP: [You head through the GATEWAY and it shuts behind you. You're now in a chamber with a set of STAIRCASES - one leading to the FIFTH FLOOR, and one leading to the THIRD FLOOR. There's a HALLWAY in front of you and a HALLWAY to your left.]
  108. [10:33] ?GG: >go down
  109. [10:34] CPP: [You go down to the THIRD FLOOR. You end up in a similar room - one with two STAIRCASES and two HALLWAYS. A lone SCIENTIST appears to be in the middle of the room on his phone.]
  110. [10:34] ?GG: >Go up to scientist
  111. [10:35] CPP: [You walk up to the SCIENTIST. He doesn't notice you, absorbed on his phone.]

  125. [10:37] CPP: [> Contemplate whether or not Minecraft is allowed.]
  126. [10:37] CPP: [It isn't. Given BILLY's tendency to stare into space, you wonder if he got the memo or not.]

  156. [10:44] CPP: [Great idea! The best place to start would be to find the REC ROOM, which shouldn't be too far from here. It's at the end of the NORTH HALLWAY, if you remember.]

  168. [10:45] ?TT: Because arrows.
  169. [10:45] CPP: [Contrary to its name, the REC ROOM isn't a ROOM made for RECREATION. It's just a ROOM with a ton of couches and a TV set to broadcast news relating to THE GODMODDER and the WAR AGAINST HIM.]
  170. [10:45] ?TT: Because I want to
  171. [10:45] CPP: [> Look around for advanced employees.]

  175. [10:46] CPP: [> Check broadcasts.]
  176. [10:47] ?TT: >Lok at ADVANCED SUPERIOR afterwards. What is his symbol?

  232. [11:01] CPP: ["Me? I helped code it."]
  233. [11:01] CPP: ["You probably know this, but the Superiors did most of the work on coding the thing."]
  234. [11:02] CPP: ["I picked up the scraps. I did some bug testing, fixed whatever errors there were left..."]
  235. [11:02] CPP: ["And I've gotta tell you, this thing is totally unreal. It's not like anything that we've seen on this earth. It's coding is... well.]

  275. [11:09] CPP: [This IS your home. You are ordered to live here under GOVERNMENT rule so you don't tell the outside world what's going on.]
  276. [11:09] CPP: [And why JOHNSON was playing MINECRAFT was his business, not yours. You have no idea why he decided to play at all anyway.]
  277. [11:09] ?TT: >Wonder if you can leave the base.
  278. [11:10] CPP: [> Wonder if you can leave the base.]
  279. [11:10] CPP: [No. Definitely not.]
  280. [11:10] CAA: >Leave Rec Room, look for other advanced personnel
  281. [11:10] ?TT: >Wonder if he was actually playing Minecraft...Wouldn't that have been filtered out?
  282. [11:10] ?TT: >I mean, website blocking...
  283. [11:10] CCU: >Recall if you know where Johnson's office was.
  284. [11:10] CPP: [> Leave Rec Room, look for other advanced personnel.]
  285. [11:10] ?TT: >Ahem. I was first.
  286. [11:10] CAA: ... no
  287. [11:11] ?TT: >Ponder plausibility of actually having played Minecraft.
  288. [11:11] ?TT: ((Ooops sorry.))
  289. [11:11] ?TT: ((Either way do that.))
  290. [11:11] ?TT: >Ponder plausibility of PLAYING Minecraft.
  291. [11:12] ?TT: >Recall if other Minecraft platforms were affected by The Operation?
  292. [11:12] CPP: [You leave the REC ROOM and head back to the NORTH HALLWAY. You don't exactly know where you'd find ADVANCED PERSONNEL. You could definitely find them in the ADVANCED-LEVEL CORRIDORS, but obviously, those require ADVANCED CREDENTIALS to get into. Your best shot would probably be the CENTRAL CHAMBER where THE EXECUTION will be held - ADVANCED PERSONNEL should be gradually making their way there at various times to prepare.]
  293. [11:12] CPP: [> Wonder if he was actually playing Minecraft - wouldn't that be blocked?]
  294. [11:12] CCU: ((Twin said that in this version of earth it was only released on the PC.))
  295. [11:12] ?TT: ((Ah. K.))
  296. [11:13] CPP: [Yes, MINECRAFT is blocked. But you're fairly certain that, in a lab full of computer scientists, there could be someone who can get around that limitation.]
  297. [11:13] CPP: [> Recall if you know where Johnson's office was.]
  298. [11:13] ?TT: >And all the block-circumnventing sites. >And the minecraft.exe >And antivirus flags. >And government surveillance omnipresence so how did they not just see it happen and shut it off in the first place?
  299. [11:14] CPP: [In one of the ADVANCED-LEVEL CORRIDORS - you think CORRIDOR E, but you're not sure. Either way, won't be able to find out. You can't get into ADVANCED-LEVEL CORRIDORS, and JOHNSON's office will be purged of all of his belongings shortly. Uncoincidentally, APERTURE SCIENCE is now hiring.]
  300. [11:14] ?TT: >I mean, they moved you into this complex for the express purpose of security, they probably measure what you take in and put out. For crying out loud...
  301. [11:14] CPP: STOP
  302. [11:14] ?TT: >Think about promotions. Do they happen?
  303. [11:14] CPP: STOP
  304. [11:14] ?TT: ((I stopped.))
  305. [11:15] CPP: [> How did they not see it happen and shut it off in the first place?]
  306. [11:15] CPP: [You don't think you have an answer to that.]
  307. [11:15] ?TT: ((But basically, sum it up as >Paranoia happen.))
  308. [11:15] CPP: [> Think about promotions. Do they happen?]
  309. [11:15] CPP: [Yes. If a BASIC-LEVEL EMPLOYEE is doing very well, the ADVANCED SUPERIORS will convene and see if they think they're ready to be PROMOTED. It happens occasionally, and you've been hoping to be PROMOTED for some time - but to no avail.]
  310. [11:16] CAA: >Think about ways to eliminate competition
  311. [11:16] ?TT: >Hope that the ADVANCED SUPERIORS will not pass you over this time, in any case.
  312. [11:17] CAA: Will you stop being unhelpful.
  313. [11:17] CPP: <=red>[> Think about ways to eliminate competition.]
  314. [11:17] CAA: What the hell is that command going to accomplish.
  315. [11:17] ?TT: ((oping that the advanced superiors will not pass you over.))
  316. [11:18] CAA: ...
  317. [11:18] CPP: [> Eliminating competition... Sabotaging the work of others WILL be noticed, and thus highly counterproductive. You don't see a reasonable way to do it.]
  318. [11:18] CPP: ((FINALLY rejoined TIW))
  319. [11:18] ?TT: ((Well it MIGHT work, and it really can't hurt to try.))
  320. [11:18] CAA: >Think about your coding ability
  321. [11:18] CAA: ...
  322. [11:18] CAA: Okay, let's say it works.
  323. [11:19] CAA: You successfully /hope/ you'll be promoted.
  324. [11:19] CAA: Congratul-fucking-ations
  325. [11:19] ?TT: ((Positive thinking totally works. ;P))
  326. [11:19] CPP: [> Think about your coding ability.]
  327. [11:20] CPP: [You're not too great at coding. You're good with building things.]
  328. [11:21] CAA: >Check quality of surveillance in common areas
  329. [11:21] CCU: >Keep looking for secret areas. That's your best bet to accomplish anything at this point.
  330. [11:21] CPP: [> Check quality of surveillance in common areas.]
  331. [11:22] CPP: [There are CAMERAS everywhere. EVERYWHERE. She once used them to track Her TEST SUBJECTS, and now the ADVANCED SUPERIORS use them to track all of you.]
  332. [11:22] CPP: [> Keep looking for secret areas.]
  333. [11:22] CAA: >Remember when you started work here
  334. [11:23] ?TT: >Remember if any Aperture employees were brought on to payroll.
  335. [11:23] CPP: [Alright. There's one right beneath your feet, and it's not even that well-kept of a secret. There are probably people there right now.]
  336. [11:23] CPP: [> Remember when you started work here.]
  337. [11:24] CPP: [It was a while ago, before the GOVERNMENT OCCUPATION... You left after you grew fed up with how the GLaDOS project was going, and that was for the better, seeing as everyone involved ultimately died. You came back once you learned APERTURE was hiring, and now you're in this mess.]
  338. [11:24] CAA: >Remember if you were an advanced personnel then
  339. [11:24] CPP: [> Remember if you were an advanced personnel then.]
  340. [11:25] CPP: [BASIC and ADVANCED PERSONNEL didn't exist back then.]
  341. [11:25] CAA: >Remember if you were high ranking
  342. [11:26] CPP: [> Remember if you were high ranking.]
  343. [11:26] CPP: [You were in pretty much the same position you're in now - you helped build GLaDOS.]
  344. [11:26] CAA: Well darn.
  345. [11:26] CAA: >Recall old username and password anyways
  346. [11:27] CPP: [You don't remember them, if you had them at all.]
  347. [11:27] CAA: >Think about any old Glados era employees who are here now
  348. [11:28] ?TT: *GLaDOS.
  349. [11:28] CAA: No, fuck that.
  350. [11:28] ?TT: Bah.
  351. [11:28] CPP: [> Think about any old GLaDOS-era employees who are here now.]
  352. [11:29] CPP: [Only the few that had the common sense to quit the project remain. You know for a fact that RICHARD is one of them, and so is BILLY.]
  353. [11:29] CPP: [JOHNSON... was.]
  354. [11:29] ?TT: >Was there a Doug?
  355. [11:29] CPP: [We don't talk about DOUG.]
  356. [11:29] CAA: Billy?
  357. [11:29] ?TT: >Why don't we talk about Doug?
  358. [11:29] CPP: ((the guy playing survivalcraft))
  359. [11:29] CPP: [Who?]
  360. [11:29] ?TT: >Was he insane or something?
  361. [11:29] CAA: >Remember if Billy was high ranking
  362. [11:29] CPP: [Was who insane?]
  363. [11:30] ?TT: >The guy we don't talk about.
  364. [11:30] CPP: [> Remember if Billy was high ranking?]
  365. [11:30] CPP: [Yes, he was. He was pretty high up, but something went wrong at one point while he was working on GLaDOS, and he hasn't been the same since.]
  366. [11:30] CPP: [What guy we don't talk about?]
  367. [11:31] CAA: >Go to Billy, reminiscence on Glados days
  368. [11:31] CAA: /brb, probably
  369. [11:31] ?TT: >Was there a guy who carted around a Companion Cube a lot?
  370. [11:31] CPP: [We don't talk about DOUG.]
  371. [11:31] CPP: [OBEY THE ADVANCED SUPERIORS]
  372. [11:31] CAA: Try to shake the old credentials out of him
  373. [11:31] CPP: [THEY WATCH YOU AND YOU DON'T WATCH THEM]
  374. [11:31] CPP: [DON'T QUESTION AUTHORITY]
  375. [11:31] CPP: [OBEY THE ADVANCED SUPERIORS]
  376. [11:31] CPP: [THEY WATCH YOU AND YOU DON'T WATCH THEM]
