- "What have they got that we don't got?" Glade gestured with anger across the cafeteria at Renee as she sat down at a table.
- "A significantly higher vagina to person ratio?" Ian shrugged and bit into an apple.
- "What's so great about vaginas?" Glade stabbed a fork into her meatloaf.
- "I don't think any of us are qualified to answer that question." Mal deadpanned over his Cuke.
- "What about May?" Eddie asked.
- "What about her?"
- "She doesn't ever eat with us. Why don't you get angry at her?"
- "Because she eats with the other cheerleaders."
- "And?" Oliver stretched the word out.
- "The cheerleaders are cooler than us." Glade gestured at Renee's table again, "Those guys are to coolness what black holes are to... stuff."
- "Loquacious." Mal opined.
- "Bah." Glade lacerated her meatloaf grumpily.
- "Anyway," Ian pointed a forkful of potato at Eddie, "I've got the skinny on Amelia Vane. Get this-"
- "Hey Renee."
- "Hey Francine. Ladies." Renee nodded to the group as she sat down.
- "So how did the hobo thing go?" Tiana asked.
- "Great. We fed more hobos than I thought were in town." She took a sip of milk.
- "Prepared for the religious studies test?" Anya asked.
- "Totally."
- "And the blatant crush on Ian?" Amy asked.
- Renee snarfed her drink. "What?"
- "We've seen you look at him. It couldn't be any more obvious." Francine trilled.
- "Nuh-uh.." Renee glanced towards Ian's table.
- Anya leaned forward, "Don't be ashamed of it, Renee. Someone had to be into... whatever it is Ian is and does."
- "I appreciate your understanding whilst still denying any feelings for him beyond toleration, approaching friendship."
- "And I just appreciate well-played high school baseball." Amy quipped.
