if normal make rare with regal after transmute
if magic regal
if rare annul down to 1 mod

if you want to perfect augment + annul spam:
Make sure you augment until you hit a suffix before you annul

once the item has attack speed ONLY make sure it’s rare with regal orb (this has a chance to hit suffix when you regal which can fill up suffixes and means you might have to yolo slam a suffix desecrate later)
the item needs a prefix (sinistral exaltation + exalt if it doesn’t have one)
use a sinistral crystallization and a sovereign alloy to guarantee increased effect of socketed augment items
socket “Astrid’s creativity” in the item
sinistral exaltation + exalt for another prefix (if this slams accuracy you have to prefix annul yolo it off or check if a whittle will target it or fill prefix and try to prefix desecrate to snipe it off because accuracy can brick next step)
use a sinistral crystallization and a celestial alloy

The item should now have
1 prefix
Accuracy + attack speed hybrid
2 suffixes
T1 Attack speed
Effect of socketed augment items

Use a dextral necromancy and an omen of liege with an abyssal echoes then reveal at the well for increased spirit reservation efficiency

Finally slam 2 exalt on the weapon to fill prefixes

Vaal orb if you are feeling frisky
Ideally you get implicit attack speed or a socket
If you get a socket first and you’re insane you can use an architects orb to fish for increased attack speed implicit and use an orb of sacrifice for a 1/3 to make the fastest mace in the game
