  1. Here you go.
  2.
  3. # Building
  4.
  5. ##General
  6.
  7. For builds, check [this page](http://www.grappul.com). While building in Smite is very situational, grappul offers a nice basic build that off of which
  8. you can base your own, optimized build. If you want me to go into details on a certain item / on all of them simply say so and I will.
  9.
  10. #Skills
  11. ##Skilling
  12. Keep in mind that everyone has their own preferences and that the "best" way to skill is the one that best suits your playstyle. There are, however, some basic guidelines that are worth following, which are what I'll try to list below.
  13. ###Priority
  14.
  15. 4>1>2>3
  16.
  17. ###First five levels
  18. 1-2-3-1-4
  19.
  20. ###General
  21.
  22. Don't skill until the very second that you're going to use it. Keep your skillpoint ready incase the enemy tries to invade / your team needs you. Be ready to put a point in your escape ability if you need to get out quick: it's better to
  23. lose out on a little bit of earlygame power instead of giving away first blood.
  24.
  25.
  26. ##Catalyst
  27.
  28. Catalyst consumes lingering poisons, doing 10% or 20% of the targets max health as phys damage on basic hits, depending on the ammount of lingering poison
  29. stacks on the target. This passive is amazing, especially against tanks. 20% is a huge ammount of damage for a single basic hit, on top of all the other damage she
  30. already does.
  31.
  32. ##Deathbane
  33. This is where a large part of your damage comes from. Not only does it apply a poison that removes their protections (and stays dormant for another 20 secs for your passive)
  34. but it can also crit. That makes this ability incredible in it's damage potential, especially since it hits three times, and thus has three chances to
  35. crit. It's peculiar path can make it hard to hit but I found that you get used to it relatively quickly. On top of the damage potential it's also a nice escape.
  36.
  37. ##Cobra's Kiss
  38. A wonderful ability. It applies madness and does damage. It consists of two hits with a small delay inbetween. In order to use it to it's full potential,
  39. you need to learn to hit both hits. Just like Deathbane it also leaves a 20s lingering poison, counting towards your passive. Great set up for your own skills
  40. or your teammates'. It does have quite a long cooldown though so you need to watch out for that.
  41.
  42. ##Ambush
  43. Ambush allows Serqet to become invisble but roots her in place. As long as noone comes too close to her she remains invisible until she jumps. This is both a good skill to initiate aswel as an escape.
  44. You can also trick enemies by running around a corner and hiding - but be careful: if they come too close they'll see you!
  45.
  46. ##Last Breath
  47. This skill might seem relatively simple but is in reality quite complex. Unlike most Ults Last Breath does not do instant damage but rather DOT. On top of the damage you also
  48. get a 100% healing reduction, a knockback and the ability to spread it if your target dies while under it's influence. Being able to use this skill correctly is a key component to
  49. playing Serqet effectively.
  50.
  51. #Tips
  52.
  53. ###Watch your CDs
  54.
  55. While this is true for all Gods, it's exeptionally important on Serqet. If you're running from an enemy and your skills come off CD, use them. Not only to escape but to attack too.
  56. There's been countless games where an enemy was chasing me and I just turned around, 2-1'd them and killed them on the spot. Your damage is beyond amazing and due to your 2 they can't really fight back (unless they
  57. use beads).
  58.
  59. ###Always use your passive
  60.
  61. If you've got more than one stack of lingering poisons on someone, always follow up with at aleast one basic attack, even if you wont be able to kill him.
  62. You'll do 10-20% of their max health in phys damage, which is huge.
  63.
  64. ###Use all three hits of your 1
  65.
  66. While the path of your 1 might seem strange if used over a long distance, it's quite simple when used close up. Use this to your adventage when you're trying to kill someone / clearing camps, in that you can land all three hits on a single target.
  67. It might take some training to hit these consistently, so make sure to practice.
  68.
  69.
  70. ###2-1 combo
  71. Your main combo is your 2-1 combo. You apply madness to your enemy and while he's unable to controll his movement you can hit him with all three dashes of your 1. Being able to do this consistently is one of the most important
  72. tools in a good Serqets repetoire, so make sure to practice hitting it! Don't forget to follow up with a basic attack to make use of your passive.
  73.
  74. ###Hit multiple enemies with your 2
  75.
  76. Since you get two hits out of your 2, you can apply it to two different enemies at the same time. Not only does this render two enemies unable to attack you, but
  77. it also makes them walk towards each other, allowing you to hit them both with your 1. This is incredibly effective and has often given me an incredibly easy
  78. doublekill.
  79.
  80. ###Use your 2 to stopp enemies from chasing
  81.
  82. While you'll normally use your 2 to set up a kill, you can also use it to escape. If you have someone chasing you or your teammate, you can use your 2 to stopp them from using their skills. This might
  83. give you or your teammate that extra second that they need to get away.
  84.
  85. ###Your 3 activates immediately
  86.
  87. Unlike other jumps, your 3 actives the moment you press the button, so be careful that you don't accidentally waste it. While the instant activation is useful when you want to jump quickly, it also means that you can't check to see how far you'll be able to jump once
  88. in stealth. Practice with Serqet (preferably in singleplayer modes) to the point where you know the distance that you can jump with your 3 by heart.
  89.
  90. ###Your 4
  91.
  92. ####The Knockback
  93.
  94. The knockback on your 4 has many uses.
  95.
  96. **Damage**: You can use the knockback to indirectly do more damage to the target: throwing them into towers, towards teammates, into abilites that are channeled, etc.
  97.
  98. **Placement**: You can use the knockback to place your enemy in a (for them) unfortunate position. You can hurl them away from the fight or away from a key target.
  99.
  100. **Saving your teammates**: You can use the knockback to stopp an enemy from killing your teammates, either by pushing them away from your team or simply by holding
  101. them in place and stopping them from chasing.
  102.
  103. **Spreading the poison**: You can use the knocback to apply your poison to multiple targets. If an enemy is low on health and there are multiple enemies close by,
  104. you can ult that person (even if you didn't necessarily need it to kill them) and then push them towards their teammates to make sure that they spread the poison
  105. to all of them.
  106.
  107. ####The healing reduction
  108.
  109. This is an often underestimated part of your ult. You can use it by ulting the enemies healer or someone who has a lot of regen (e.g. ulting a Vamana to stopp him from getting health back by ulting).
