  1. > You say "Let's finish this, Kate."
  2. Her eyes glint and a savage grin appears on her face.
  3. "Let's finish this," she says.
  4. You begin sprinting towards the dragon, dashing to the side to avoid an elemental's deteriorating form as it sails past you. You slide to a halt in the dirt, raising your shining sword above your head, taunting the creature.
  5. The dragon twists its neck, letting out a burst of flame that illuminates the cavern.
  6.
  7. > You meet the flame with your shield, shoulders low for Kate to springboard off and leap towards the dragon, aided by her wind magic.
  8. You step into the flame, your shield raised in front of you as you push through it. You feel your hair and clothes begin to burn, but you keep going, barreling towards the dragon's head. Kate leaps off of you, twisting in the air as she raises her dagger, driving it into the dragon's left eye.
  9. You drop down in front of the dragon's head, sliding against the ice-slicked ground as you slide past the dragon's snout and under its jaw. You roll to a stop, swinging your sword and slashing the dragon's underbelly. You turn and sprint towards the dragon's tail, sliding along the ground once more to come to a stop under the dragon's tail.
  10. "Now!" you shout.
  11.
  12. > You call upon the earth around the dragon, attempting to pin it to the ground for your companions to attack.
  13. You plant your feet in the ground, feeling it give way as the earth rises up around the dragon's wings. Kate leaps off of the rising earth, stabbing the dragon through the wing and narrowly avoiding its claws. She rolls to her feet, twisting as she slashes the dragon's chest. Sophie runs up behind it, hefting her axe as she slams it into the dragon's neck.
  14.
  15. > You say "Bring! It! Down!"
  16. The dragon lets out a pained cry, thrashing as it attempts to turn and bite you. It flails, roaring as its wings beat at the air, but you hold it down with pillars of stone, preventing it from moving. Kate drives her dagger into the dragon's other eye, Sophie slamming her axe into the dragon's skull, cracking it.
  17.
  18. > You say "You die here, beast! "
  19. You run your sword through the dragon's neck, twisting it as you yank it out and slash again, tearing through its scales.
  20.
  21. > You keep slashing, carving deeper and deeper into the great beast's neck.
  22. You hack at the dragon's neck as its blood spills out, staining the ground and soaking into your clothes. It lets out a weak roar, muscles beginning to give way. It falls to the ground, letting out a pitiful whimper as it struggles to rise.
  23. "Finish it!" you shout.
  24. Kate charges forward, leaping onto the dragon's neck as she runs along it, leaping off as her dagger glints, slashing the dragon's throat. Sophie's battleaxe comes down again and again upon its skull, bone splintering with every strike.
  25. You raise your sword, stabbing it down into the dragon's skull as its blood spills out onto the ground. The dragon lets out a pitiful moan, its body shuddering before going limp.
  26.
  27. > You rip your sword out of the beast, as the cavern goes quiet.
  28. The cavern goes quiet as you stand there, panting. You rip your sword out of the dragon's head as its blood stains the ground, forming a pool around its body.
  29. "We... we did it!" Sophie says, laughing as tears roll down her face. "We killed a dragon!"
  30. You release your hold over the earth, and it drops away from the dragon.
  31.
  32. > You say "We actually did it..."
  33. Kate puts her arm around you, and the three of you laugh as you celebrate your victory.
  34. "We did it!" Kate says.
  35. You smile, kissing Kate on the cheek as you embrace her tightly.
  36. "I love you," you say.
  37. "I love you," Kate replies, smiling as she hugs you.
  38. You look over at Sophie, smiling as you go to hug her as well.
  39. "I love you too, Sophie," you say.
  40. "I love you both," Sophie replies.
  41. The three of you laugh and smile, embracing in a group hug as you celebrate your victory.
